Stockwith Mill was our chosen wedding venue for our wedding in October 2024. The venue was everything we had dreamed of for our intimate, relaxed, outdoor wedding and provided the most incredible backdrop!

Kristi, Simon, Nichola and the team were amazing right from the enquiry stages, through to the morning after the big day! They provided us with some choices for amazing suppliers, answered all of our questions and kept us to date with work being carried out to the venue itself.

There are so many positives to the venue, beautiful photo opportunities, plenty of space within the grounds, the stable is a beautiful place to relax and the bar was very well stocked!

Our wedding day was the most perfect day and we would love to do it all over again!

We couldn’t wished for more magical day, a day from a galaxy far, far away! We have fell in love with the venue the moment we’ve arrived! Everything was perfect from the day we said yes and that’s all because of the support and love we’ve received from Kristi, Simon and Nichola. They all worked really hard to make sure our day was spot on, that everything ran smoothly and that we had the best time!

Communication was great from the start and helpful throughout. There was no such a thing as a big ask and we appreciate everything you have all done for us from the initial meeting to the day itself!

The venue is truly magical and I would happily recommend it to anyone!

We honestly had the best experience booking our wedding at Stockwith Mill. Both myself and my now-husband (eeek!) said we wouldn't of changed a thing about the day. There was nothing that was too much trouble - highly recommend!

We had the most perfect day at Stockwith Mill for our wedding a couple of weeks ago. Everything from start to finish was spot on. Kristi, Simon and Nichola all worked immensely hard to make sure we had the day of our lives, and we absolutely did. The venue is stunning, everything and more me and my partner could've wished for. We fell in love with it, the moment we pulled up in the car park for our viewing day and Kristi greeted us with a warm welcome and we instantly knew this was the one. We had the wedding of our dreams at Stockwith mill back in July! From the moment we saw it, we knew it was the venue for us. The whole planning process was made for easy with the help of Nichola, and Kristi and Simon keep us up to date with all the goings on! The mill looked more stunning than we ever could’ve imagined on our wedding day and all the staff were so helpful and attentive. We had comments from numerous guests about what a gorgeous venue is was and how they’d never been to anywhere like it! It’s a day we’ll never forget and we’d recommended Stockwith Mill to anyone!

The venue was so beautiful and well kept.
It had changed so much since we first booked it and kept getting newsletters and updates on it.
Kristi didn’t stop all day and even set up my cakes
for me before the wedding and then asked if we wanted them moved outside were we done the cake cutting and she moved and rearranged them all.
Had contact with the venue thought out the build up to the wedding and the support by email, phone and visits was very important and helpful.
Even packed up our wedding bits and put everythink away so when we came in the morning to collect it, it was all there and ready.
Stockwith went above and beyond and we are so happy that we chose the right and best venue for our day.

We recently had our wedding at this stunning venue and we couldn’t have been happier with our decision. From the first moment on site, we fell in love with the venue and there is nothing quite like it around. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly, and the service provided was exceptional.

On the day of the wedding, Kristi (the owner) and the team of staff truly went above and beyond to ensured everything was perfect and it all ran smoothly. It was truly an amazing day that we will cherish forever.

We fell in love with Stockwith Mill the first time we visited. Nichola and Kristi were both so inviting and the whole place had a lovely family focus around it. It didn’t feel corporate and the whole interaction felt very personalised and very easygoing. The team wanted to create a lovely experience for everyone instead of just taking your money and leaving you to it, which was so lovely to see. It’s clear that money is being reinvested into the place and it’s been lovely to see it change and develop since our first visit.

The venue itself was perfect for our wedding, we were lucky enough with the weather and getting married on the field was truly special. Many guests were discussing how nice the venue was and it had a lot of breakout areas for just relaxing and enjoying the scenery, as well as dancing, drinking etc. Our photographer was spoilt for choice with picking somewhere to take photos as they were a lovely mixture of everything.
We particularly enjoyed the marshmallows and fairy lights in the evening.

Kristi’s hard work on the day meant everything ran smoothly. If there were any issues on the day, these were clearly addressed quickly and quietly as we didn’t know if anything had ‘gone wrong’. The band was set up with no fuss and the room cleared quickly for the evening. Kristi managed guests amazingly.

For drinks there was a good choice available to all, we opted for the drinking package and then a few bottles on each table. There was plenty of choice and I particularly enjoyed my rose wine. We opted for one of the team's recommended wedding stylists and catering. These were great and the food was amazing, the sharing platter and paella were amazing both in looks and taste. We do however feel communicating with the caterer could have been better, but this isn’t a reflection on the venue at all and the food was incredibly delicious on the day.

Overall, we feel Stockwith Mill is an excellent choice for a smaller more intimate wedding, within an exclusive, peaceful venue. 5/5

Wow, what an absolute fantastic day. The amount of effort made by everyone was out of this world, from a galaxy far, far away!!!! (pun intended, 4th May wedding). I would highly reccommed this venue to anyone. You really wont be dissapointed. Well done to you all and thank you ever so much for making our day perfect.

The day was perfect from start to finish 😊 they were all so friendly and helpful, we felt we could ask them any thing, it didn’t matter how small or large the request was they would accommodate where they could. The most beautiful venue with working water mill, the venue itself and surrounding is an idyllic summer dream.
The host were so accommodating and helped make our wedding dream come to life! Our guest said it was the best wedding they had ever been too. Highly recommend and can’t wait to see our wedding photos 😍

Stockwith Mill hosted our wedding day on the 19th August and it was everything we wanted and more. We were after a relaxed space in beautiful surroundings and stockwith definitely delivered! Nothing was too much trouble for Kristi and Simon who have so obviously put their heart and soul into stockwith mill and Nichola the wedding coordinator was also absolutely amazing at helping to bring everything together, in a way that worked for us. We were able to use a field for glamping and campervans and have a campfire as the night drew in. All of the staff were absolutely lovely and we had the most perfect day 🩷

Where do I begin with Stockwith Mill?! Kristi and the team work their socks off to provide a completely heartfelt, personalised experience for each of their couples, and not only that, they truly do look after all the suppliers that are lucky enough to work with them too!

When it comes to the actual wedding day, this venue runs like clockwork; regularly checking in on their couples and all their guests, making sure they're happy, as well as with suppliers ensuring that the day runs smoothly and happily for everyone there.

The venue is unique and stunning too! I have not spoken to anyone who doesn't enjoy being amongst the beautiful surroundings and so... I genuinely cannot wait to go back and photograph many more wonderful weddings here! Stockwith Mill - thank you for having me and thank for taking care of me!!
