We had the perfect wedding day and it went exactly how we wished it would be. The rain held off for the day and the sun made an appearance as we said our vows.

We always dreamed of having a laid back outdoor wedding overlooking the Wolds and this was the perfect setting!

Kristi was very accommodating before, during and after the Big Day! Our daughter has special needs and uses a wheelchair so Kristi made sure her needs were met and she was able to access the venue without any obstacles.

All our family and friends (along with Keith the dog) thoroughly enjoyed the day along with the delicious food served by the Food Dude.

The decorations were set out by Rea at Confetti Sweethearts and she made both the veranda along with the dinning room settings look amazing.

Our disco DJ was Ellis at Ellis Band and he played all the songs we had requested.

Would highly recommend Stockwith Mills for any occasion and especially your Wedding Day!

From our first visit to Stockwith Mill, and our first meetings with Nichola and Kristi, we knew this venue was for us. Having visited throughout my childhood when the venue was a tearoom and museum, it was meant to be.

We had all of our wants and needs taken care of, continuous communication and best of all, we felt like were treated as friends, rather than customers. Kristi, Simon and Nichola give a really warm and welcoming atmosphere, both behind the scenes and on the day.

Our guests all remarked how perfect the venue was, how everything about the day was very 'us' and we couldn't have done that without the help of the Stockwith Mill team.

There aren’t enough words to say how wonderful our wedding was at Stockwith Mill and how happy we are that we chose Stockwith as our venue.
The beauty of the venue speaks for itself and was the perfect backdrop for the outdoor rustic style we had in mind. The moment we saw it we knew it was the one - we only looked at two venues and Stockwith immediately stole our hearts!
They had everything we wanted to make our alfresco BBQ idea come to life - plenty of space and a beautiful setting for us to have a marquee (in case of rain but we got very lucky with gorgeous sunshine!), picnic tables for a relaxed vibe, an ice cream bike, an outdoor dance floor with cover and heaters so we could dance the night away under the stars, and fire pit complete with marshmallows for toasting. Our package was just everything we wanted and more to create the perfect laid back day for us to enjoy with our family and friends. Personally we didn’t want our wedding to feel formal or unlike us, and Stockwith Mill went above and beyond to create this for us. A couple of our guests commented that we could have been at a wedding in Italy with the outdoor summer evening vibe. We were over the moon!
And then for the wonderful people that made this happen for us - the Stockwith Mill team did the most incredible job of making our vision come together.
Nichola was incredible throughout, and planned parts of the day that we never thought needed to happen but were all so integral to the day, the level of attention to detail was amazing and we are so grateful for her organisation and how responsive she was throughout our journey to even my tiny questions, and considering how we were going to make a Prosecco tower work without it falling over (which neither of us had done before)! She just understood the assignment completely and exceeded our expectations.
Kristi was the most organised and wonderful person on the day and the moment I arrived and saw Kristi with her headset telling everyone where to be I just completely relaxed and knew I didn’t need to worry about a thing. Nothing was a bother, Kristi was flexible around our timings to make the day flow perfectly, and was so approachable and cool. We trusted her judgment completely and just got to enjoy the day.
We are so so pleased we chose Stockwithi Mill - such a beautiful venue, all of our guests commented how fabulous it was, but not just that, it made our whole ‘laidback, alfresco’ wedding vibe ideas come to life - who needs Italy!! Thank you!

Stockwith is such a beautiful venue, but that is only half the story! The team at Stockwith Kristi, Nichola, and Simon were all absolutely amazing and really looked after us! From the minute we agreed to a date we were guided through the process of how to get our wedding sorted!

Having never organised anything larger than a dinner out with mates, a wedding is a different kettle of fish all together! But the team at Stockwith helped us so much! Nearly every vendor we used was from their recommended list, and they were all amazing!

Stockwith provided us with a live document we could update with vendor information, and we always received prompt responses to our queries and questions (of which there were many!). Nichola was our main planner/organiser for our day, and no question, or worry or niggle was too big or small. We were absolutely and wholly supported!

The venue itself is beautiful, and wonderfully set out to have the day of your dreams! The staff were welcoming and warm, and everything went smoothly and to plan.

Kristi coordinated everything on the day and despite the electrics going in the marquee before the wedding breakfast, a solution was quickly found and the day went according to schedule! Additionally, as two brides we both had to enter and walk up the aisle, and we were coordinated with precision that left our guests feeling emotional which is exactly what we wanted! We also wanted a dress change to surprise our guests for our first dance, and Kristi was able to provide a hiding a spot for us to do so! She was kind, attentive, and on the ball all throughout the day, and made sure everything went without a hitch. She also made sure our glasses were full and that we had canapés which is something we desperately needed!

Honestly, when booking a wedding at Stockwith you aren't just booking a venue. You are booking the support of a warm and professional team, who are invested in you as people, and will genuinely look after you and your needs before, and throughout your big day!

We had our wedding at Stockwith Mill in June and truly had the best day ever — not even the rain could dampen the magic! From the very beginning, the team were exceptional. Nichola guided us through the planning process with warmth and care, and Kristi was incredible on the day. she never stopped and made sure everything ran smoothly. Nothing was ever too much trouble.

Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting the venue and its beautiful surroundings. The stable looked absolutely magical! our florist Sally, transformed it so perfectly it brought tears to our eyes. The afternoon tea was delicious, followed by pizza in the evening which our guests loved. And the atmosphere was topped off with fantastic entertainment from Ellis, our amazing DJ!

The whole day was a perfect reflection of us; relaxed, full of love, and beautifully put together. We can’t thank the Stockwith Mill team and all our wonderful vendors enough for making our wedding truly unforgettable.

We had our wedding day here in June and it was nothing short of perfect.

When we went to the wedding open day at Stockwith Mill to view the marquee that ‘Thoughtfully Outdoors’ set up, we never even imagined that we would be leaving that day with our entire wedding day booked at this venue. It was exactly what we had wanted, outdoorsy, relaxed, and fun.
The package they were offering was incredible value for money and it included beyond what we would have thought we’d get!
We even booked most of our vendors from another open day they hosted or they recommended, and each one bought something so special to our day.

I felt so at ease throughout the whole process that planning the wedding never felt hard work or stressful. Kristi and Nichola were a pleasure to work with, and a special Thankyou to Kristi on the day of the wedding for making the day run so smoothly.
She was there throughout the entire day over seeing and managing everything behind the scenes to ensure our day went exactly how we planned.
There was never one moment where I couldn’t get a response from anyone, or I had to compromise on anything I wanted.

A lot of our guests hadn’t seen the venue before as it was a bit out of the way for them but they were blown away by it. We’ve had non stop comments since about how beautiful it was and how relaxed the whole atmosphere was.
It was the hottest day of the year but we couldn’t have picked a better venue to keep our guests comfortable.
Me and my husband both said at the end of the day how we wished that we could relive it all over again!

There are not enough words to describe how wonderful a wedding at Stockwith Mill is. All the team really make the day special.

From Nichola talking us through the planning and suggesting that we make it as personal as possible (by including our DIY hand painted gnomes) really gave us the courage to put our personalities into our day. Thank you for staying patient as we are very indecisive.

Kristi greeting me at the entrance and explaining everything that was going to happen and what to expect really helped calm my nerves and allowed me to enjoy the excitement of the day. I didn't have to think about anything as she was there to solve any problems such as my bouquet ribbon coming apart and a tree hanging to low! And all the other things that I didn't notice because I was able to walking around in a bubble of joy! Thank you for making sure we got our ice cream (delicious and a massive hit with our guests.)

And thank you to the gentleman refilling our drinks and lady at the bar (sorry I didn't get your names) you both kept my family happy!!!

We recently had our wedding at Stockwith Mill and I can honestly say with my hand on my heart that Kristi, Nichola, Simon and the team well and truly smashed it out of the park.

We had the most beautiful day that was so uniquely ours, with me even arriving by tractor! Nothing was too much trouble and every query was answered with lightening speed.

Stockwith Mill was our chosen wedding venue for our wedding in October 2024. The venue was everything we had dreamed of for our intimate, relaxed, outdoor wedding and provided the most incredible backdrop!

Kristi, Simon, Nichola and the team were amazing right from the enquiry stages, through to the morning after the big day! They provided us with some choices for amazing suppliers, answered all of our questions and kept us to date with work being carried out to the venue itself.

There are so many positives to the venue, beautiful photo opportunities, plenty of space within the grounds, the stable is a beautiful place to relax and the bar was very well stocked!
