We had a late October twilight wedding, Gemma and the team were on hand every step of the way. She was on hand to answer any questions nothing was too much trouble.
The children at the wedding were catered for and had their own bespoke canapés.
The venue is lovely and homely which suited out autumn vibe.
On the day of the wedding Gemma was on hand to help woth last minute details and sorting the room out, making sure guests were seated. She even brought me a glass of water before walking down the aisle.

Professional service from the first viewing of the venue up to our wedding day. All staff were excellent with their customer service. Any query was dealt with straight away. We booked our wedding in January 2025 and our perfect wedding day took place August 30th 2025. Our ceremony took place in the wedding house followed by our wedding breakfast served at Slaters. Our evening was hot food and a great disco. Our guests and ourselves throughly enjoyed the day and night. Gemma, our wedding planner made the whole process stress free. We're very grateful to Gemma and all staff. Slaters was the perfect venue for our beautiful photographs.

We had a wedding package at a good cost. From start to finish, we could not of wished for anything better.
The staff are just absolutely fabulous; from the reception staff, the bar staff, the housekeepers, the waiting on staff-all amazing and they all take good pride within their own roles.
Gemma-the wedding co-ordinator, can't fault her, extremely kind, caring and her lovely personality puts you at ease throughout the whole process, she really does care and wants you to have the best day, which we did! I know its her job, she obviously enjoys what she does, but nothing was ever too much trouble, anything we asked for, or changed during the planning was no meither. She was just great, she calmed my nerves before I walked down the aisle, made sure my bridesmaids were all ok, the groom etc... and even took me the toilet lol but this to me, showed me how much she cares about her role and how much she looks after her brides. There was a young apprentice with her too on the day, who was learning the ropes, she asked if she could announce and do things on the day which was absolutely fine by us, she too was lovely.
The day went so smoothly, we got married outside under the gazebo and it was just perfect! The sun was shining which made it all the better!
During our wedding breakfast, the staff showed professionalism throughout.
The food was absolutely gorgeous, every single guest commented and said how lovely it tasted.
The resident DJ was great, anything you asked for was played, great set!
I would absolutely recommend the pizza oven for evening food (delicious)
I highly recommend this venue for a wedding or any other occasion actually.
If I could do it all over again I would in a heartbeat.

From our very first planning meeting right through to our wedding day, Gemma, our wedding coordinator, was a great source of support - always responded to our questions to help us throughout the process. The food tasting before hand was such a brilliant experience and gave us the confidence in the quality for the day itself. On our wedding day, Gemma's organisation was seamless; she managed everything behind the scenes with great professionalism and helped us with vendors when they arrived to ensure everything came together perfectly. We couldn't have asked for a better team or venue to make our day so special.

We had our wedding day at Slaters on the 16th August and I could not reccomend this venue enough. From the day we booked, the team could not be more helpful. Gemma was our wedding planner and she was fantastic! Nothing was ever too much bother and she was always at the end of the phone/ email whenever we needed her.

The package was amazing and such a good value for money. Every single guest has the most amazing things to say about every bit of food throughout the day, it was all honestly delicious! The gin bar was beautiful outside and it was great that guests could take their token to the bar inside too if they didn’t like gin. The DJ provided by Slaters was also fantastic, he got in touch a few days before to ask what music we would like, and he played the most perfect set list, he also took requests on the night too which was amazing.

The day ran so smoothly, again thanks to the amazing staff, especially Gemma who has the ability to keep you calm even when you’re beyond nervous (and forget to bring the wedding cake!), she really was amazing - as were all the staff.

There is not one thing that could have made our day better. The food, the drinks, the venue, the staff were all perfect and we cannot thank everyone at Slaters enough!

We had the most amazing day for our wedding. Leading up to the day, communication with Gemma was excellent. She guided us through preparations and on the day coordinated brilliantly and really helped to put us both at ease. Following the ceremony, we had the gin bar during our drinks reception, which was a real hit with the guests. During our wedding breakfast, the food served was brilliant, with all guests being served in a timely manner. The fantastic weather helped to make the transition from day to night lovely as guests were able to relax in the wedding garden. During the evening reception, again the food served from the roast buffet was lovely.

Overall, Slaters was the perfect setting for our wedding and it really is a day we will never forget!

From the very competitive pricing, to the intimate, country setting and the amazing team. Throughout that time, I had contact with the venue, with meetings more frequent as we got closer to the wedding. Nothing was too much trouble for Gemma and her team. All my questions were answered in great time, either via email or phone. On the day, Gemma was INCREDIBLE. Her professionalism and calming nature made everything seem so effortless, I didn't need to worry about a thing.

From start to finish the entire process was top notch! From viewing the venue and booking, to the planning meetings and all the way up to our big day - Slater’s were amazing! Not only is it an amazing venue to get married at with beautiful scenery, Gemma our dedicated wedding planner made sure our day ran smoothly and was there to help wherever she could (even when getting mountains of confetti out of my dress and hair lol). We had the most chilled and relaxed day and that was 100% down to Gemma. Whenever we had any questions throughout the planning stages, she always answered promptly and professionally. She was a huge help in every aspect. The food is out of this world! Even now a few weeks after our wedding day, our guests are still mentioning how nice the catering was. The tiger prawns and arancini canapés were a huge hit and the BBQ buffet was just incredible. It just smashed all expectations. Genuinely cannot recommend this place enough to people. We are so so happy we chose Slaters and wouldn’t have changed a thing.

From start to finish the service from Slaters has been impeccable.
From initial viewings, to booking, planning meetings, communication, and most importantly our wedding day itself, Slaters have been brilliant in every aspect. All queries we had were answered promptly and the day ran so smoothly.

Prices are incredible, especially if you decide to buy. We managed to purchase 7 three-piece men's suits, all different sizes and matched! Not only that, we were able to purchase a child's suit that also matched!

Their free alterations on suits also help! Overall, the staff here were super helpful and the quality of the suits are outstanding. They all also fit perfectly!
