From the very beginning, the communication was excellent. The team guided us through each step of the process, including the legal requirements and who to contact, and were always quick to answer any questions we had. They were also incredibly accommodating whenever changes needed to be made.
The planning process was really well supported, with several meetings along the way to make sure everything was on track and to give us the chance to ask further questions.
On the day itself, the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Everything ran so smoothly and exactly how we had envisioned it. The food was delicious, and so many of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was.
We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Shotton Grange to anyone looking for the perfect wedding venue. -

Most amazing day
Everything was perfect right from the viewing day! Booking process was easy and all the staff were amazing and so helpful everything was how I wanted it without a problem. The morning of the wedding I had a bit of panic thinking I wouldn’t get things done in time but the girls were fantastic and just told me to tell them what I wanted and they’d get it done helping set the tables etc it couldn’t of gone and better! The whole place was just magical and perfect ❤️ -

Wedding Day 20.06.25
We got married at Shotton Grange on one of the hottest days of the year so really made use of the stunning grounds for our Ceremony and Drinks Reception.
The whole team prior and on the day went above and beyond for us from small minor last minute changes on the week leading up to the day to just everything running so perfect on the actual day including Aaron having a nose bleed 10 minutes before the ceremony!!
I could not recommend this venue enough to anyone looking for an amazing place with great staff, service and food!
All of our guests have commented on how amazing the food was from the wedding breakfast, evening pizza to the breakfast the following morning!

My husband and I got married at the parlour at blagdon in early may 2025. And we have nothing but positive things to.say.
The venue itself is just beautiful it has a rustic classic feel with all the modern comforts. We loved that our guests had several different areas they could sit and the day just flowed. We are the most disorganised pair ever the staff were incredibly patient and flexible but gave us a gentle push when needed. Racheal ran our day and she was the perfect person for us she was on hand all.day and nothing was too much for her or the other staff.
If we could.do it all.again we would.choose the parlour everytime.
The best compliment we got from so many of our guests I would say also.is a compliment to the parlour. They said it was 1 of the best weddings they have ever been too. -

The happiest day!
We can’t recommend Shotton Grange enough. From start to finish they made the wedding experience so easy and relaxed. The team really go above and beyond, no detail is too big or too small. The communication from the planning team couldn’t have been better. Every member of staff that we came into contact with were amazing. All of our guests commented on how wonderful all the staff were on the day. You can tell they are all passionate about their jobs and it really shows in their work. We’d also like to add how amazing food is at the venue. We were lucky enough to stay at the venue the night before our wedding with all of our wedding party, the food provided was 5*. The wedding guests also commented on how lovely all of the food throughout the wedding day was. If you're looking for a wedding venue, look no further than Shotton Grange! -

From the moment we arrived until the last guest left, our wedding day was absolute perfection – and it’s all thanks to this incredible venue and their amazing team. Every detail was beautifully taken care of, and we truly felt like we were living in a dream from start to finish.
The setting was breathtaking – elegant, and full of charm. Whether it was the ceremony backdrop, the stunning reception space, or the peaceful outdoor areas for our guests to relax, every corner felt magical. Our photos look like they’re straight out of a fairytale!
The staff went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly. They were professional, warm, and genuinely excited to help bring our vision to life. In particular Max, she was BLOODY amazing and deserves a pay rise! We absolutely loved her and a lot of our guests commented on how incredible she was from start to finish! Nothing was too much trouble, and their calm presence made us feel completely at ease throughout the day.
We’ve received so many compliments from our guests – they were blown away by the atmosphere, the flow of the day, and just how seamless everything was. We truly couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful experience.
If you’re looking for a venue that combines beauty, professionalism, and heart, this is the one. Thank you for giving us the most unforgettable day of our lives! -

Honestly, the most stunning venue and the food was absolutely exceptional. We chose a three-course meal for our wedding breakfast and stone-fired pizzas for the evening. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed everything and even said it was the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding. Every single member of staff was attentive, friendly, and polite, they truly couldn’t have done more for us. Bonus points for being so dog-friendly! -

We couldn’t recommend this venue highly enough from the beautiful building and grounds to the attentive and professional staff. They really did go above and beyond to ensure our special day was perfect. From the very first day of viewing the venue to booking and setting a date everything was seamless. A big thanks to Emma who was always on hand to answer any questions or query’s we had it made the very short 5 months of planning stress free. Everyone commented how chilled and relaxed our day was thanks to the amazing team we wouldn’t change a thing. -
