Wedding day
We got married at Shotton Grange on 21/09/2026.
From our very first viewing the staff at Shotton couldn’t have done more, they were very quick to respond to emails and answer any questions we had and very quick to accommodate any changes we needed to make.
Our day it’s self was everything we could have dreamed of and more. We loved the idea of getting married in front of the house. The weather was on our side and we got our wish. The staff could not have done more for us.
Food we had 3 course meal from the heritage menu and pizza for evening food. Food was beautiful and we received lots of positive feedback from our guests.
Shotton really gave us the intimate wedding we were hoping for. We would definitely recommend this venue for future brides and grooms. -

Shotton is a beautiful venue to get married at. It has multiple ceremony options both indoor and out which are a lovely backdrop for the occasion.
There are rooms on site but you don’t HAVE to pay for them, unless people are staying which was an added bonus for us.
The food was wonderful, we received lots of good feedback including ‘this is the best wedding food I’ve had’.
One thing that some older guests did mention was that the outdoor seating was a little bit low and the seats were deep which was slightly awkward for guests with mobility issues.
Compared to some other venues we felt Shotton was great value for money, there was flexibility with packages and lots of added extras like lawn games, post box and welcome sign which helped keep the cost down that little bit more.
On the day staff were very friendly and amazingly organised, keeping everything on track but not seeming stressed about any of it.
We would highly recommend the venue to others and look forward to returning in the future! -

Shotton Grange was the dream venue for us, couldn't imagine anywhere more perfect! Thank you to the whole team from the initial meeting and looking around for the first time through to our amazing wedding day!! Words cannot describe how amazing our day was. We are so glad we found Shotton Grange, it's the most beautiful, perfect venue. So glad we could get married outside. It looked beautiful. We have had so many compliments from guests about the venue/outdoor areas as well as how good the food was both day and night. Loved the garden games which kept both kids and adults entertained.
Particular thanks to our masters of ceremonies who was absolutely fantastic; so lovely as well as a true professional and kept the day on track and true to what wanted.
The whole day and night was perfect and we felt so happy.
We can't thank the team enough.

Our big day !
We recently got married at Shotton grange in June and it was the best day! From start to finish everything ran so smoothly. We changed a few things morning of the wedding and the staff were incredible. From our very first meeting to the last they made sure we were always happy and comfortable with all changes. We highly recommend this venue! The grounds are gorgeous and staff are smashing! -

We honestly had the most amazing day at Shotton Grange. From the very beginning, the whole planning process was made so easy and stress-free, which meant we could actually enjoy the build-up to our wedding rather than worry about it.
On the day itself, everything ran perfectly. The energy from the staff was incredible – so friendly, attentive, and genuinely excited for us, which made such a difference. The food was unreal, and we had so many compliments from our guests saying how much they loved it.
A very special mention has to go to Karen, our Master of Ceremonies. She was an absolute star from start to finish – such a great laugh, constantly keeping us updated, and making sure we were fully looked after the entire day. She went above and beyond for us and is truly an amazing asset to the venue.
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and we’re so grateful to everyone at Shotton Grange for making our day so special. -

From the very beginning, the communication was excellent. The team guided us through each step of the process, including the legal requirements and who to contact, and were always quick to answer any questions we had. They were also incredibly accommodating whenever changes needed to be made.
The planning process was really well supported, with several meetings along the way to make sure everything was on track and to give us the chance to ask further questions.
On the day itself, the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Everything ran so smoothly and exactly how we had envisioned it. The food was delicious, and so many of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was.
We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Shotton Grange to anyone looking for the perfect wedding venue. -
