Couldn’t have asked for anything better
We highly recommend Woolas Barn as we had the best possible wedding there! If we did it again, the only thing we would have changed about our wedding would be to somehow magically slow time down and make the day last longer! James and everyone else we worked with were professional, efficient, accommodating and friendly. We felt it was great value for money and a safe recommendation for other couples -

We couldn’t recommend James, Emily and the Fusion team more highly. From start to finish, they were absolutely fantastic and made our wedding experience so special. Being a family-owned working farm made the venue feel incredibly personal and unique, and the team went above and beyond to create a day that felt completely tailored to us.
They were flexible, professional and so easy to work with throughout the planning process, always making us feel like we were in the best hands. The food was absolutely amazing, our guests couldn’t stop talking about it, and the service on the night was exceptional. The bride and groom were so well looked after!
We are incredibly grateful to the whole team for helping make our wedding day everything we hoped it would be. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough! -

Our wedding at Woolas Barn was absolutely perfect, and we couldn't recommend it highly enough.
The venue itself is a stunning setting – rustic, full of character, and the perfect balance of relaxed and fun while still feeling special for such an important occasion. One of the biggest advantages was having exclusive use of the venue for the entire weekend, which allowed us to spend much more quality time with our family and friends and made the whole celebration feel far less rushed than a traditional one-day wedding.
Emily K, our wedding planner, was fantastic from start to finish. She was organised, calm, incredibly helpful, and always on hand to answer questions or offer advice. Having her involved was worth every penny and made the planning process and wedding weekend run seamlessly.
The in-house catering was another real highlight. We've attended a lot of weddings over the years, and the food at Woolas Barn was genuinely some of the best wedding food we've ever had. The quality, presentation, and service were all exceptional, and many of our guests commented on how good it was.
A special mention also goes to James, the owner, who was always friendly, approachable, and incredibly responsive throughout the process. His flexibility and willingness to help made everything so much easier.
If you're looking for a beautiful, rustic venue with fantastic food, a brilliant team, and the opportunity to make a whole weekend of your wedding, Woolas Barn is hard to beat. We had the most amazing time and would highly recommend it to any couple considering their wedding venue. -

Woolas Barn is an incredible venue! From the moment we started searching for venues online we came across Woolas Barn and fell in love with this rustic venue. We attended an in person open day and loved every aspect of it, James was great at answering all of our questions, was there through every step and made sure our day went exactly how we planned. The ceremony room and breakfast room were perfect for a medium sized wedding, an intimate space with gorgeous rustic charm. The venue was perfect inside and out, so peaceful in a beautiful setting with everything you could ever need at the venue. It can be dressed up as much or as little as you want and still looks stunning. The catering company (Fusion) at the venue was exceptional, from the delicious tasting before the wedding to all the questions handled, nothing was ever too much and they ensured the day ran like clock work. The food was sensational and all our guests commented on how delicious the food was! If you are looking for a stunning rustic venue in Yorkshire, this is the place for you! Best day of our lives, thanks to this stunning venue and the wonderful staff. -

Wonderful Woolas Barn!
There are so many barn-type venues in the area and, after looking round dozens, we weren’t sure we were going to find one that ticked all our boxes. We stumbled across Woolas by accident - and oh my gosh are we glad we did. The venue itself is simply beautiful, with plenty of rustic charm and natural light. Exactly what we wanted.
What really makes Woolas special though is the team behind it. From the open day, through the planning, right up to the day itself, there was nothing that James and team wouldn’t do for us. They worked with us to create a wedding that was unique to us - with no pressure or expectation to do what other couples do.
The result was the most beautiful day. We knew it would be and yet it still was just beyond anything we could have hoped for. We’re so grateful to everyone at Woolas - and look forward to returning to reminisce in the years to come! -

We booked Woolas Barn more than two years before our wedding after a viewing with James. From the very beginning, he was incredibly helpful and there was absolutely no pressure to book on the spot. He encouraged us to take our time and think about it. However, we fell in love with Woolas from the moment we arrived.
One of the biggest selling points for us was that they only host one wedding per week. This meant we had plenty of time to set up the day before and collect everything afterwards, which took away so much stress and made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable.
We didn’t know anyone who had previously got married at Woolas, so attending open days and bringing our parents to view the venue was really important to us. James and the team were always accommodating and welcoming throughout the entire process.
On the day itself, the venue received countless compliments from our guests, who loved the intimate, relaxed atmosphere. In terms of value, Woolas offers excellent pricing for such a beautiful venue. You pay a venue hire fee, with the option to add a wedding coordinator and stylist, while catering is priced separately. We found everything to be very reasonable considering the quality of the space and service.
Everyone at Woolas played a part in making our wedding day absolutely perfect. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team to support us throughout our journey. Thank you so much to James and the whole family for helping create such special memories - we will always be grateful! -
