We had the most incredible wedding at Old Gore. The venue is absolutely stunning and exceeded all expectations. Tom, our coordinator was amazing- so calm and organised, he made the day completely stress-free. The food and drinks were outstanding (the sirloin was unreal!). Couldn’t recommend it more.

We cannot speak highly enough of the venue itself and the team that operate there. We were shown around originally by Tom and fell in love straight away. He answered any questions with confidence and assurance, which helped us choose it as our venue. Their communication was always open, honest and prompt and when it came to the wedding itself, Emily was simply superb. She calmed any anxiety, and talked us through how it would all run. She then made the day a seamless affair and, quite simply, the best day of our lives! Our guests (some of who are chefs) commented on how stunning the food was, and several others commented positively on various aspects of the venue and the day. We thoroughly recommend to any couples thinking about booking them - you will not regret it! -

The best day of our lives! The venue was in pristine condition, the food was incredible and our wedding coordinator Tom, along with the rest of the team, ensured everything ran smoothly. Recommended suppliers were all fantastic and made the venue our own for the day. Couldn't be more pleased that we chose to get married at the Old Gore. -

Incredible venue
As soon as we viewed Gore Barn we fell in love! It was like being in Italy, from the driveway to the venue and the endless views. It's utterly magical.
We travelled from South Wales to have our wedding here and I'm so happy we did. Nothing was too much for the team here. They accommodated everything we wanted. We wanted a chilled, fun day and that's exactly what we got. We didn't want a seating plan and they managed to achieve this even with allergies. The day was completely ours and they let us run with every single idea we had, they truly brought our vision to life.
The food was outstanding and we've had nothing but good feedback from our guests regarding this. We've even had a couple ask for details as they now want to get married here!

The team at old gore were fantastic from our first visit all the way up to the wedding. They reply to all messages so quickly and were so helpful. Tom was incredible on our day and couldn’t do enough for us. We got so many compliments all day on the venue, food and incredible service of all of the staff. The team at old gore completely exceeded our expectations. They went above and beyond to make sure our wedding went to plan and took the stress away from us, everything from the initial viewing to the end of our wedding day ran so smoothly- we couldn’t fault them.
The venue is so beautiful, even though we had a lot of rain on the day of our wedding it didn’t affect it at all. If anything the weather made our day even cosier! We included the fire pits and had lanterns everywhere which made it so magical. And how could we forget Deloris the disco ball, she was a beauty!!

We were planning to do a small wedding at a restaurant as food was so important to us but after visiting Old Gore, we booked the venue on the spot! Everything from the initial tour to the day itself was perfection.
All of our guests kept commenting on how great the venue was but what came out over and above was the FOOD and the SERVICE. The Taco's and Churros were incredible and there was so much food (not like your typical 3 course small portion wedding sizes), this combined with the team who were absolutely fantastic. They went over and above and were there to support with all of our requests on the day and before that. We 100% recommend.
