An incredible blank canvas to make your own!
Malt house barn is a stunning venue, the backdrop, the lawn and the gorgeous building which is so clean and gorgeous! Everything inside is perfect for you to set up the wedding of your dreams - a blank canvas for you to add your own details to it! From the first viewing we knew it would be perfect for us! And it really was. The day was perfect (helped that it was sunny so we could use the gorgeous outside gazebo)! We would absolutely recommend using malt house barn as your venue! -

The moment we visited Malt House Barn, we realised immediately this is where we were meant to get married. The venue and grounds are so beautiful and a perfect blank canvas to allow your event to be truly anything you imagine! Janet was such a pleasure and was so helpful from start to finish, answering our many questions and making us feel very welcomed and much less nervous about our big day! Janet was a fantastic hold. She was always available to provide support and assistance when necessary. Also, all the guests were impressed with our venue choice and all gushed over how pretty it was. The grounds are well kept and make such a pretty background for pictures. The gazebo is lovely. The hall is big and accomodated our 150 guests easily without feeling cramped at all. We loved the venue and would pick it over again. We absolutely recommend this place to any intending couple! It is a gorgeous venue. -

The most perfect day
Highly recommend this wedding venue as we had the most incredible day! Janet and the team were so helpful from start to finish and was great on the day too! Guest were commenting on how lovely the venue was! -

Where do we begin? From visiting the venue last year right through to our wedding day, Janet and the team at Malt House Barn have been incredible! Every query was answered with reassurance which helped us to build the perfect wedding day just the way we wanted it. Nothing was ever too much for the team and we really can’t recommend them enough. It was so lovely to have them there on the day to help ensure that everything went to plan and they supported us through many crises when other suppliers let us down. The venue and accommodation itself is absolutely beautiful - we couldn’t have dreamed for a more picture perfect setting to capture our day within. We want to thank them once again for their amazing service and the Malt House Barn will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you and all the best, Mr and Mrs Smith. -

Sensational
Where do we even start? From the moment that we were greeted by Janet at Malt House Barn, we knew that this was our wedding venue. It was the only venue that we viewed because as soon as we saw what it had to offer, we knew no other place could top it.
Firstly – on arrival, you are met by immaculate gardens which are so beautifully maintained, the indoor space is superb – ample space for dining, dancing and merriment, and the accommodation is exceptionally beautiful.
Once we had secured our date we were able to visit the venue to show family members and meet vendors which helped us to plan for our day. This was so helpful and aided our decision making hugely.
Our wedding day was slightly drizzly however in no way did this dampen our spirits or impact our day. Our drinks reception was held indoors where there was plenty of room for our hired bar to serve our guests their welcome drinks and the stage was the perfect place for our musician to play for us. The reception room, which overlooks the beautiful gardens, is vast and was the perfect setting for our long, feasting trestle tables and there was ample space for our 120 guests to be seated comfortably. When the sun came out in the afternoon, the garden was the most sensational place for photographs of us with our families, bridesmaids, and groomsmen. We also hired lawn games, which our guests loved, and they allowed the outdoor space to really shine. The stage was great for our band to play in the evening and there was the perfect amount of space for our guests to dance and enjoy themselves. Both our photographer and videographer commented on the picturesque landscape surrounding the venue which made for the perfect back drop for our couples’ photoshoot.
The facilities are exceptional and so well maintained. There are luxury restrooms for guests, a fantastic kitchen which was utilised the day before and the day after the event, and plenty of outdoor space for our caterers to set up and prepare our wedding breakfast.
As mentioned, the accommodation is sublime – better than any 5* hotel we’ve stayed in. It made for a brilliant space for the groom and his groomsmen to get ready in and was the most idyllic place to retreat to after our guests had gone home. It was spacious, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean.
Our wedding day was everything we could have ever wished for and more and this is largely due to this amazing venue – the flexibility allowed us to decorate the space just as we envisaged and for us to utilise vendors that shared our vision too.
Our final shout-out goes to Janet – the amazing owner of this superb venue. She is everything you could ever want in a wedding vendor. She is calm, approachable, friendly and has amazing eye for detail. She was incredibly helpful with our preparations and was always excellent at communicating with us. When we first viewed Malt House Barn she was in no way pushy or overbearing and was so sensitive and thoughtful towards us. We will be forever grateful for the love, care and effort that Janet has put into this venue – her passion and commitment really do shine through.
In short, we would wholeheartedly recommend Malt House Barn to any couple planning their perfect country wedding – we promise you will not find anywhere better. -
