We looked at over 10 wedding venues before coming across Cripps & Co, and from the very first conversation we knew they were something special. When I initially called, I assumed it might be out of our price range, but they suggested completing a quick quote on their website based on what we were looking for. To our surprise, it actually seemed within reach, which encouraged us to explore further.
They very kindly offered us a heavily discounted room at one of their lovely pub hotels and organised for us to visit four of their local venues. We brought our dog along with us and were made to feel incredibly welcome everywhere we went. It very quickly became clear that this was a company we wanted to work with. Every member of staff we met across the venues was so friendly, helpful and genuinely couldn’t do enough for us. A special shout out to Aimee, Zoe and Emily!
One thing we really appreciated was the transparency. There were no hidden extras for the small details that many other venues charge huge amounts for, things like fairy lights, which we’d seen elsewhere for £500 or more. Everything felt very fair and straightforward.
Another moment that really stood out was at the end of the wedding when we actually had money left over from the bar tab we had set up. Rather than quietly absorbing it, the team made sure we knew and refunded it, which really summed up the honesty and care of the staff and the venue.
We had an incredible experience from start to finish and couldn’t recommend Cripps & Co highly enough.

We got married at Cripps Barn on 30.11.2025, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team to support us.
We only booked our wedding in February 2025, which meant planning everything in around 10 months, but the team made the entire process feel easy and stress-free from the start. Communication was fantastic - the team were always responsive, helpful and happy to answer any questions. We visited a few times before the wedding and also attended a Feast Night with our families, which was such a lovely experience and made us even more excited for the big day.
The food was actually what sold the venue to us in the first place. We had attended a wedding at one of the sister barns the previous year and remembered how outstanding the food was - and it was just as incredible at our wedding. It’s truly top tier, and our guests are still talking about it. If you’re a foodie couple, this is absolutely the venue for you.
One of the things we loved most is that the venue doesn’t need huge amounts of flowers or decoration because it’s already so beautiful in its own right. The barn has such a warm, romantic atmosphere, especially for a winter wedding, and it looks stunning without needing to overdo it. It did help that the sun shone all day for us too!
On the day itself, Aimee was our coordinator and she was amazing from start to finish - calm, organised and completely reassuring. She made everything feel effortless so we could fully relax and enjoy every moment.
We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Cripps Barn to anyone looking for incredible food, a gorgeous setting and a genuinely supportive team.

Where do I start with Cripps Barn and the team… They are incredible.
Cripps Barn was the first venue we looked at in 2023 for our wedding in October this year. As soon as my then fiancé, our mums and I walked in, we were bowled over of the beauty of the venue. We had an initial meeting with James who talked us through what the barn has to offer, and he was so informative, lovely and showed such a genuine interest in us as a couple.
When we left, we decided that no other venue would do and booked Cripps a day or so later. We could not imagine getting married anywhere else!
Over the last couple of years, we felt that we got to know the team, they were responsive, informative, professional and so kind and understanding of our needs. We had visited the barn over the last couple of years for events such as feast nights and open nights to meet vendors. Each visit the team has been so warm and inviting.
Our Front of House Manager was Aimee on the day of the wedding, and she was an absolute superstar. From our planning call a couple of weeks before, we knew we were good hands and she alleviated any anxieties, that I as a bride had. She was able to keep me calm and it is thanks to her, the day went perfectly.
Emily was amazing as out night manager, she was patient, kind and managed the evening so well, such as ensuring guests did not miss their rides and again allowing the night to go along seamlessly.
Cripps Barn is probably the most beautiful venue I have stepped into, and that coupled with the great food and incredible team, I could not recommend them enough.
Thank you, Cripps, we had such an amazing wedding and if we could do it all again, we would (anyone say vow renewal?).

We had our wedding at Cripps Barn, and it was nothing short of perfect. The moment we arrived, we fell in love with the beautiful rustic barn setting and the warm, romantic atmosphere it creates. It’s the kind of venue that feels both relaxed and magical — exactly what we wanted for our day.
The staff were exceptional from start to finish. Their organisation was flawless, and everything ran so smoothly that we genuinely didn’t have to worry about a single thing. They made sure every guest was looked after and happy, which meant we could simply enjoy the day knowing everything was in safe hands.
The food was incredible, and so many of our guests commented on how delicious it was. Combined with the overall ambience, it made the experience feel truly special.
We would definitely recommend Cripps Barn to anyone looking for a romantic, rustic venue with outstanding service. It was the perfect place to celebrate our wedding, and we’re so grateful for the experience.

We had the most magical wedding day at Cripps Barn. Everything came together beautifully, the team was very helpful and took much prep off our hands. We got married at Cripps Barn last week - it was a small-ish wedding with 70 guests, and the whole wedding was an absolute dream.
I am Canadian and my partner is from New Zealand, meaning we had people flying over from across the world to attend our wedding. This came with its fair share of additional questions, logistics and last-minute queries and changes. The whole Cripps team made the entire process stress-free, accommodating and supportive; they were incredibly responsive whenever we had questions, and provided a lot of insight and advice whenever we didn't know how best to proceed with some components of the wedding.
Our guests kept on telling us how the venue was incredible, unlike any other place they had seen before. They loved its cosiness, how it perfectly emulated the Cotswolds aesthetic and atmosphere, and they raved about the staff on site for the wedding. Everyone was incredibly helpful and so kind.
My partner and I will forever remember this amazing day at Cripps. It was the best choice for our wedding - we also thought that the value for the location and amenities was great. We got married in October on a Wednesday which I believe has made us save some money with the venue hire; this allowed us to inject funds into fun extras to make the day even more special.
Lastly - a special shout out to Aimee who has played an instrumental part in the planning of our wedding. She was the one who welcomed us when we initially visited the venue, and she was also our front of house/wedding coordinator on the day. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding day at Cripps Barn. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The team were calm, kind, and so organised, which meant we could just relax and enjoy every moment.
The barn itself is stunning; full of character, warmth, and atmosphere. When it was filled with our friends and family, it felt magical. The food was out of this world and we’re still hearing from guests who said it was the best wedding meal they’ve ever had.
In fact, so many people told us it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. Not just because of how beautiful the venue looked, but because of how relaxed and joyful the whole day felt. From the moment we found Cripps barn to leaving at the end of our wedding we felt like we were part of the cripps barn family! The staff throughout the process were all friendly, welcoming and super responsive to all our questions (no matter how silly they were)
All our guests were so impressed with how the day ran seamlessly and were very complimentary of the food (which is a big bonus as wedding food can be awful)

We got married at Cripps Barn last month and really did have the best day ever thanks to the brilliant team and most stunning venue. We got a great first impression from the Cripps team at the open days, everyone we spoke to was warm, really on it with organisation and had a clear, seamless process - this was the case throughout. James was a brilliant front of house manager on the day, he thought of everything and we felt in such safe hands with him. The planning call a week or so before the wedding was really helpful and gave us a clear idea of what would happen on the day. He kept us informed throughout and was such a calming and positive presence on the day. The food was incredible, we had so many people tell us it was the best food they'd ever had, with people recreating the dishes after the wedding! Nothing was too much for the team, everyone was so friendly and approachable. The venue itself is so stunning with a perfect mix of modern and rustic charm, beautiful views and such a lovely feel.
