Opened in 2015, we serve a varied and constantly changing menu of modern British food with Italian influences. We serve food we love cooking and eating.

Porro embraces the Italian philosophy of celebrating simple, quality ingredients. We make every effort to keep our menus seasonal, which means using as many locally sourced products from independent and local suppliers as possible. There are however some things which can only be sourced from Italy!

Our wine and drinks menu has been carefully selected to match our menus and is reviewed on a regular basis. We carry an excellent range of independently sourced wines as well as a fantastic array of bottled lagers, ales and ciders.

In addition to our main restaurant dining room, we have a unique private dining room available for up to 22. Located on the first floor it has been refurbished to offer a space which can be reserved for dining, celebration and for special hospitality. our main restaurant dining area can also be hired out for parties of up to 45 guests. Our entire restaurant can seat up to 80 guests across 2 floors.

If you are looking for a venue to hire out for any celebrations and are looking for a more intimate, personal feel then Porro is definitely for you. Only a short distance from Llandaff cathedral and insole court.

We also offer the option for our guests to tailor our menus and their big day as they would like. Wether that be changing some of the options on the set menu, adding extra courses (bread & olives, antipasti, cheese course) or Prosecco/champagne on arrival or cocktails on arrival. Adding custom cocktails to our menu. We are very flexible to all requests.
