I knew that Mythe Barn was the perfect venue before we had even been for a look round! Everything on their website was clear and nothing was hidden. Amee was incredible! From our first email correspondence, to face to face meetings- nothing was ever an issue and communication was frequent and clear.
It came to our special day and it all ran like clockwork thanks to the amazing team working hard to ensure our day went off without a hitch! Our guests commented on how stunning the venue was and how EPIC the food was! I can only describe it as perfect!! Even the bedrooms are stunning!
The little moments of being given time away just the two newly weds was a lovely touch and really helped without it ever being forced!

Mythe Barn is the perfect venue! After viewing Mythe Barn we instantly fell in love and we knew it was the perfect venue for our big day. Every step of the process felt stress free, special and tailored to us. From viewing the venue, to booking, meetings in the lead up, emails in between and each step of the big day, the communication, professionalism, kindness and consideration from every member of staff at Mythe was faultless. Amee in particular made our experience for us, she is fantastic! Nothing was too much trouble and every detail of our day that was important to us felt prioritised by the team. The venue had everything you could possibly want and need with a gorgeous ceremony room, wedding breakfast room, a bar situation between the two as well as a gorgeous honeymoon suite and courtyard accommodation. The surroundings of the venue are truly beautiful and allow you to capture some stunning shots with you photographer. The food and drink were excellent and everyone was so well looked after on the day including our suppliers. The feedback from our guests has been amazing and everyone commented on what a fantastic venue we had chosen. If you are looking for a wedding venue with an extra sprinkle of magic and quality then Mythe Barn is the venue for you. Thank you again for making our day one to remember.
Mythe Barn was worth every penny in my opinion! We had a daytime minimum spend and an evening minimum spend which with our numbers and the food/drink we wanted these were easily met without pushing our budget more than we wanted! The adaptability of the food and drink were amazing and everyone was so looked after with dietary requirements etc.
The cleanliness and facilities were everything you’d want and hope for when selecting a venue for your wedding.
Each member of staff from management to waiting staff were polite, friendly, professional and very accommodating. They truly added to the warm atmosphere you would want on your big day!

As soon as we saw Mythe Barn, we knew it was the venue for us. It was the first venue we saw and it was safe to say the bar was set very high, nothing could compare. The staff are incredible, not to mention Sophie who was with us through every step of the way providing that main point of contact and giving us all of the support through the process. The team were amazing with catering for all guests and nothing was too much trouble and they really made us feel like the priority. The venue speaks for itself, with its beautiful setting and flawfless features, but the staff make it the experience of a lifetime and they are what made our wedding day so special. The food was spectacular, all of our guests enjoyed every moment and Sophie took any stress or worry away through coordating the entire day, which meant we could just enjoy the moment. From start to finish the day was just magical we want to do it all over again! We still cannot believe we managed to have the wedding of our dreams and it was all down to Mythe Barn and the team. We got married at Mythe Barn on 08/03/26. This was a relatively last minute booking, we went for a show around in August with Lisa. Instantly, we fell in love and within days our wedding was booked ❤️, although the venue spoke for itself, Lisa played a huge part in our decision.
We didn’t even look at any other venues. If I couldn’t get married here, I wasn’t getting married.
In the lead up to the day, all the staff were amazing, in particular Ellis, Amee and Lisa.
We had our initial meeting with Amee, we are a very laid back couple and Amee just got us. She saw our vision and ran with it. We don’t like being the centre of attention and Amee told us it was ok to not follow tradition, i.e a sit down meal, first dance speeches. She gave absolute reassurance the day would be as perfect as we would hope.
We then had our final meeting with Ellis, Ellis perfectly complimented Amee and just as Amee did, Ellis could see our vision and gave all the same reassurances as Amee.
And then came the day itself… Wow, Ellis went above and beyond, from helping setting things up to just putting both myself and my husband at ease. She guided us through the important parts; the registrars interviews, the ceremony and cake cutting. Ellis ensured we both had canapés after our photos, kept drinks to the side for us and made sure we were the first up to the BBQ.
We had a lot of guests attend, the ceremony room was set out beautifully to ensure all our guests were able to see clearly as we became husband and wife.
I really felt as though Ellis shared in our joy and excitement sharing an excited moment about the first song my sax player (my favourite song) to her eagerness to see my second dress, even delaying going home until she had.
Julie who then took over Ellis and alongside Katie who had been shadowing Ellis (you never would have known she had only started a week ago) was just as fabulous. Little things such as making sure she took good care of our own touches we had made to the decorations and ensuring neither of us had to lift a finger at the end.
All of our guests commented how stunning and beautiful Mythe Barn is. Many saying it was perfect.
Our day was perfect from beginning to end and exceeded all of our expections.
I wish I could do it all again ❤️.

Honestly words can’t express how much we loved and appreciated Mythe Barn for our wedding reception. All the staff were welcoming especially Amee in the day and Julie in the evening. We felt very taken care of - drinks when we first arrived and sneaky first bites of cake and pizza! Te day went so smoothly,we didn’t need to worry about the next part of the day as Amee & Julie had it all under control and running perfectly.
The food was fantastic and we still keep on hearing ‘that pizza was so good!’ Even a month later! The Room was fantastic and the feast of a breakfast in the morning was delicious!
Thank you Mythe Barn for our unforgettable wedding day!
