Facilities and Capacity
Celebrate your entire day at the Food Musuem from the ceremony to the reception and beyond. The venue is very flexible, and there are multiple locations in which to choose from. Exchange your vows of the pristine lawns surrounded by 84 acres of natural scenery, or our victorian stables or tmaybe take the ceremony indoors to the barn, marquee or the conservatory and dining room in the main house. There are smaller spaces within the grounds if you are dreaming of a more intimate celebration.

Although we are a dry hire site in essentence, you get so much more with us! The event manager at the Food Musuem is on hand from the very first moment to ensure that your wedding day is a day to remember. From the initial consultation and ploanning they will help you make your dreams come true. For an unforgettable celebration, choose the Food Musuem. All income from weddings goes staright back into the runnning of the musuem and charity and into the community it serves.

We pride ourselves on being flexible and personable and have spaces and buildings that are unique and different and in a very special natural setting in the heart of Stowmarket in Suffolk.

We can offer ceremony, day and night reception or a combination of any. You will see that the venue offers a huge amount of freedom and choice to build your own wedding and day around and keep to your budget along the way. We have a wonderful high quality daytime marquee if you are also looking for a daytime reception also which in set on the back lawn of the main house in beautiful natural surroundings and plenty of outside space for guests to enjoy.We can offer a range of catering options, being the Food Musuem we pride ourselves on our rustic, homecooked food that is all locally sourced and made on site with love by our FEAST catering team.

Although unlike many other venues we do not insist on us as preferred caterers or suppliers, we are always happy to check out any suppliers that you are keen to use.
