Hello! I am Clare Ashcroft one half of Flower Farm Floristry, a flower farm and florist based in Lancashire.
At the heart of our business is a simple idea — wedding flowers should feel personal, beautiful and completely suited to you, without the stress or inflated price tag that can sometimes come with weddings.
We’re a friendly, down-to-earth team who love working closely with couples to create flowers that feel natural, relaxed and thoughtfully put together. Some couples come to us with a full Pinterest board, others have no idea where to start, and that’s absolutely fine. We’ll guide you through the process honestly and help you make the most of your budget without overcomplicating things.
We’re known for our fresh, seasonal style and for using real flowers with plenty of texture, movement and scent. We grow a lot of our flowers ourselves here in Lancashire, which means we can include unusual varieties and truly seasonal ingredients that you don’t often see in standard wedding flowers.
If you book around 12 months in advance, we can even grow flowers specifically for your wedding. It’s one of our favourite parts of what we do — planning colours and varieties ahead of time so your flowers feel even more personal to your day.
We’re highly qualified and experienced florists, with years of industry experience including teaching professional floristry, but we keep things relaxed and approachable. Couples often tell us they enjoy how straightforward and easy the process feels working with us.
We create wedding flowers across the North West, from the Lake District down to Cheshire, working at everything from rural barns and marquees to country houses and modern venues.
Above all, we want your flowers to feel like you. Every wedding is different, so we take the time to create designs that fit your style, venue and budget properly, while always being honest, practical and good value for money.

Meet the team
Hi, I’m Clare – the face behind The Flower Farm.
My love for flowers started young, helping my grandad tend to his sweet peas in the garden. There’s something about growing and gathering flowers that’s always just felt like home to me, and that feeling still sits at the heart of everything I do today.
After leaving school, I trained in floristry and went on to achieve the highest qualification available in the UK at the time. I spent years working in different florists and later as a floral design lecturer, before taking the leap and starting The Flower Farm in 2007.
A few years later, in 2011, we began growing many of the flowers we use ourselves. It was a natural step for me and completely changed the way we work – bringing in beautiful, seasonal blooms that are full of scent, character and a real sense of place.
Today, I create relaxed, romantic wedding flowers inspired by the seasons and the countryside around us. Every wedding is completely bespoke, designed to feel natural, personal and true to you – never stiff or overly styled.
