This venue is completely stunning! We fell in love with it on an open day, and it didn't disappoint at all. All our guests LOVED the setting.
Bob and Carol were so lovely in the house, making us feel really welcome and comfortable. Their breakfast was also incredibly yummy! Shout out to Bob's perfect eggs!
The house itself is beautiful and we had a wonderful time getting ready in the morning, it was such a joy to have all our immediate family stay with us.
The grounds and Tipi were perfect! Our wedding was the absolute best day, and everything we wanted.
The staff who work at Lodge Farm are so lovely and a credit to the venue, especially Liz, who helped us organise the best day ever. I wish I knew all the staff's names to personally thank them, but Amanda was a diamond, cooling me down before walking down the aisle on an extremely hot day.
Thank you all for a day our whole family will never forget.

Beautiful Liz was our wedding event manager on 30.06.26 at The Lodge Farm, and we honestly couldn't thank her enough. She was an utter joy throughout the whole planning phase and on the actual day.
She was so supportive, cheerful and couldn't help us more, nothing was too much trouble and her problem solving skills were superb!
Our wedding was the bestest day we could have wished for, and we know how much of that was due to Liz.
We couldn't recommend her more. A complete beauty! Thank you, Suzie and Rich

We can't thank Liz, Michael, Carol and the Lodge Farm House team enough for such a wonderful day. They were so supportive and helpful in the run up to the event and on the day itself. All of our guests loved the wedding as it had something for everyone. Amazing setting, wonderful caterers, flowers and music together with all of the finishing touches, thanks to Liz, that made our wedding extra special. We got married on Thursday 11th June and from the moment we viewed Lodge Farm, we knew it was the venue for us.
The grounds are absolutely incredible, a big selling point for us was that we were able to stage the wedding ceremony, drinks reception and wedding breakfast in different areas which meant our guests didn’t have any hanging around for turn arounds.
Nicki & Liz, supported us from start to finish, nothing was too much as they truly took such control of the day we didn’t have to question a thing.
The B&B is incredible. The rooms were perfect and our guests were so well taken care of.
I cannot recommend Lodge Farm enough to couples looking for a venue.

We cannot thank Lodge Farm enough for making our day so special. Despite the rain, our day was absolutely incredible – and if anything, it just made it even more memorable! The weather certainly didn’t stop everyone from having a wonderful time.
I’ll admit, I was a little upset when I saw the forecast, as I worried our photos might be ruined. However, I couldn’t have been more wrong. The house itself is absolutely beautiful, and the rooms provided the perfect backdrop for our photographs. Future couples should definitely make the most of them, whatever the weather. Photos attached!
Liz and the entire team went above and beyond to make everything perfect. They took such great care of us and helped create the day we had always dreamed of.
The owners were so welcoming and accommodating, making the whole experience feel relaxed, personal, and truly special from start to finish.
I was quite nervous beforehand, but everyone was so kind and reassuring that any worries quickly disappeared. We felt completely looked after throughout the day.
Thank you all again for everything you did for us. We will always look back on our wedding day with the happiest memories, and so much of that is thanks to you all. We miss Lodge Farm already!

Our dream wedding at Lodge Farm!!!🥹🥹
I just wanted to start off by saying WOW. What a very special venue you guys have. Reece & I had looked at many different venues whilst on the hunt for the perfect wedding venue and we couldn’t believe our luck when we came across Lodge Farm.
From our initial meeting with Michael at Lodge Farm last year in May 2025, he was so approachable, friendly, honest & very knowledgable, he put us at ease straight away. Michael was so happy to help & answer any questions initially we had at the time. We had a strong feeling Lodge Farm was going to be the one for us. We then bumped into Bob in the carpark, and must have spoken to him for best part of 45 minutes about the venue, this & that.. We then confirmed what we already knew, Lodge Farm would be our dream wedding venue.
Anyway, we was soon allocated Nicki our wedding events manager.. and wow, I don’t think there are enough words to describe this woman. We hadn’t actually met Nicki in person until the night before our wedding, however, when I saw her in the carpark, we just clicked instantly and I knew the next day was going to be the one of the best days of our lives. If you’re lucky enough to have Nicki as your wedding events manager, then just know your wedding is in extremely safe hands and it will be ran so perfectly, if you had any worries or fears, I promise you they will disappear. The whole process, exchanging messages, emails, FaceTime calls etc, we felt like we’d made a friend. Nicki’s attention to detail is spot on. You literally cannot fault the woman. She offered us so much advice, put our minds at ease, and pretty much allowed us to have our dream wedding - anything we wanted / put an idea across, Nicki made it happen! On our actual wedding day, she was always around at the right times to make sure both of us were okay, always checking in & had a sex on the beach cocktail to hand! Nicki genuinely went above and beyond, the night before the wedding, our mirror smashed (let’s not talk about it ha!) but between Nicki & Liz, they produced us a new mirror (with the help of my brother in law & dad for going on the hunt for a new one in Hitchin!) you wouldn’t even have noticed, and Nicki & Liz sorted us out like it was no problem whatsoever. I honestly can’t put into words how much they genuinely care & want you to have the most incredible day. I haven’t even mentioned everything Nicki did - but she knows how grateful we are, and my god how grateful we are that we had the incredible Nicki to run our day. So so lucky, Nicki, you made our day one to remember for the rest of our lives. Thank you!!!!!
Carol & Bob, what a pair of lovely, lovely people. They are such incredible hosts, and make sure you have everything you need. Not to mention, how amazing the food was! They catered for some of our dietary needs and it was no trouble in the slightest, they are just genuinely happy to help. The house is so gorgeous as well. You can see how much love and care goes into everything they do. Thank you so much!
The Lodge Farm team (those who was working the day of our wedding). Your team are incredible, everyone knew exactly what they were doing, we had so many compliments about how smooth the day ran. Thank you to the cocktail queen for making our sex on the beach cocktails… wow! (I’m so sorry I can’t quite remember your name)! Special mention to the lady (I’m so sorry if I’ve got it wrong but I believe Amanda), who came up to the house with me to find Nicki and help me tighten my dress and put my shoes on.. she was so kind & it’s just the little things like that, that really made the day so special. The care and attention to detail your team at Lodge Farm provided us is never going to be forgotten. The Wedding Breakfast ran so smoothly, massive shoutout to the caterers - we had so many compliments on how insane the BBQ was! So thank you so much, it was so tasty & there was so much to go round! We had pizza in the evening, special shoutout to Ronnie (I hope this is how you spell your name!) but wow, those pizzas were incredible - again everyone complimented how tasty they were, and that they could’ve eaten more! (Also asked for the recipe haha!…)
Liz, thank you so much for your beautiful hired bits. Everything is kept so beautifully and you really brought my vision to life with all the gorgeous bits we hired from you. Thank you so much.
I could say so much more, but just know we had the most incredible day, words cannot describe the feelings we had and still have from our wedding day. We hands down had the best time ever and we just couldn’t thank you guys enough. Thank you a million times over & over.

We got married at Lodge Farm House on 25th May - one of the hottest days of the year! It really was the best day of our lives.
This venue is absolutely the most perfect place to get married and the team are amazing. They do everything they can to make you day special.
From the afternoon before our wedding we could have access to the venue to set up. Plus us and arr friends and family were able to stay 2 nights in the beautiful manor house.
Due to the weather we decided to get married in the beautiful barn - it was truly magical.
We must give a huge shout out to Liz our wedding organiser from the venue. You are an amazing person and made sure our wedding went perfectly.
So many of our family and friends have commented on our venue and how perfect it was.

There are no words to describe how fabulous Lodge Farm House is as a wedding venue!
It has everything you wish for it to offer! A beautiful Farm House, a stunning barn and an exquisite 3 hatted tipi with 48 hour hire!!
From our first appointment with Michael, he was very welcoming and friendly! He showed us round and took time to answer all our questions. As soon as my (now) husband stood in the barn, he knew we would be getting married here. The feel and the warmth were just above what we expected.
After finding out availability, we walked back to the car and we hadn’t even got to the bottom of the road and we emailed Michael to confirm our date.
We felt truly blessed when Michael confirmed our date and the wedding was booked!
Our next stage was being passed over to Liz - WOW, what a woman! Highly professional, polite, knowledgeable, the list is pretty endless! She was always so responsive and made us feel like we were her only couple getting married (even though she was juggling lots of other brides). On the lead up, she made sure we had everything we needed and helped me through my extensive to do list! Not once did she make us feel we were asking too many questions or had any silly requests!
Come the day of setting up the venue - absolutely outstanding support and service, both from Liz and the family who own the estate. They really treat you like their family and they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant! The breakfasts on both days, lovingly made my Carol, were just spectacular! No ask was never too much! Always a smile on her face!
The wedding day ran seamlessly and that was due to Liz and her amazing team! Everyone, to this day, still comment on how amazing Liz was! No ask was too much!
Liz made all my suppliers feel welcome and part of the team and now they all want to come back and work there again!
If you haven't booked your venue yet, I would highly advise a visit - you will not be disappointed!
It’s a bittersweet feeling - over the moon that we’ve had our perfect day, but sad we won’t be going back to Lodge Farm to see Liz and the Team!

As a wedding supplier I’ve had the pleasure of working at many venues across Hertfordshire and the south east. My experience at lodge farm was brilliant. It’s hard to come close to Liz, her attentive nature to the couple, working with the fellow suppliers, and her overall attitude is brilliant, combined with her communication.

We recently had the pleasure of working at Lodge Farm House in Kings Walden with The Ultimate Singing Waiters, and it’s an absolutely outstanding venue to perform at — one that truly delivers on every level.👌
From a supplier’s point of view, everything was handled seamlessly. Liz and the team were incredibly professional, organised, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Communication was excellent throughout, which makes such a difference when coordinating surprise entertainment.
The venue itself is beautiful and creates the perfect atmosphere for weddings — and the way the team manage the flow of the day allowed our surprise performance to land perfectly, creating an amazing reaction from the couple and their guests.
It’s always a pleasure working alongside a venue that genuinely cares about delivering a top-class experience, and Lodge Farm House absolutely does just that.

The moment we visited Lodge Farm on an open day we knew it was the venue for our wedding! The tipi is stunning with the wooden floor throughout, the secret garden space, optional barn space, the lawn and the beautiful house we stayed in, there is just so much to the venue. We loved how it was a blank canvas we could add our own stamp too. All of our guests commented on how it was a hidden gem they hadnt come across before and could see why we fell in love with it. Liz was a complete star especially on the day of our wedding making sure everything ran smoothly and we could enjoy our day, from ensuring we had a drink to helping arrange for our dog to feature in some photos. The accommodation was perfect, we were able to stay before and after the wedding, not to mention how delicious the breakfasts were! The venue made our day!
Make sure you go to an open day to see the venue and meet the amazing team. We highly recommend the venue to all couples -
