Services Offered
James Polley aspires to take the stress out of your big day. To do this, he offers completely customised wedding packages tailored to your needs. He is flexible with travelling and is open to covering weddings all over the UK and beyond. Alongside wedding photography, James also provides pre and post-wedding sessions. He will present your high-resolution photos to you via USB, digital albums or mini albums. He also provides a link to your photos for you to share with your guests.

What does the wedding package include?
Your images will be sent via post on a USB stick for your safe keeping. I will also send you a link via email that you can send to your friends & family to share your special day, for everyone to see
How far in advance should I contact you?
The further ahead of time the better to secure the day. I have been booked from a little as 4 week prior to the big day to almost two years away
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
No
Can you travel?
Yes, i cover any location in the UK and aboard. I work around you, your location and your wishes
What is the charge for travelling?
Within 20 miles, there are not travelling fee's, beyond, its calculated when i am given the location(s) and built into he final quote

What kind of technology do you use?
Digital
Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach?
I am known for my bespoke approach, talking to you in detail before the wedding, so I can focus on your relationship on the big day. This allows me to get natural shots you both on the day
What kind of equipment do you use?
I use only professional equipment which are checked/cleaned once a year. I have a Nikon DSLR, two bodies and three lenses. This allows me to have two different lenses with me, for two different styles
Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?
Yes, after the big day, once the images are edited, they will be sent via USB. I also send a We Transfer link for you to share with family and friends as you wish so they also can see the day in full
What's the delivery time for a photographic report?
2 months
Do you send all the photos taken?

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

In case of unforeseen circumstances, do you have a replacement photographer?

How do you charge extra time?
There is an hourly rate I work too so if i am needed earlier, that isn't a issues at all. Even if on the night, your having a great time and want me to stay, i can stay as long as you want
What are the forms of payment?
I ask for a 20% deposit to secure the day. I then ask for the remaining fee to be paid in full a week before the wedding, all via bank transfer
How do you work?
I have an easy to approach, friendly attitude before, on and after the big day. I have a meeting with you both before the big day so i have an understand of what you would like and the style

Unique, unrivalled amazing photography by a true professional
From the moment you meet James you will realise he is the perfect choice to capture your special day. He is enthusiastic and really takes time before the wedding to understand what you are looking for with your photos. For us, some totally unique and some would say crazy ideas but totally pulled off exactly what we wanted including some scary dinosaurs attacking our wedding party.... Amazing, cannot recommend him enough, a great guy and hopefully we have also gained a good friend.

Excellent Photographer!
All of our Guests wanted to hire James for their events!
He consulted with us a number of times to make sure our wedding matched what we wanted.
During the event he helped with a number of tech issues and used his experience a number of times to help and also helped re-lace the bride's shoes.
His photos are incredible and really captured the moments of our wedding.

Amazing photographer!
James was amazing at our wedding he filled in as our photographer let us down. He went above and beyond to deliver what we wanted. Amazing photographs and a amazing person and photographer. We highly recommend James for your wedding especially if you want natural look photos, James is very good at his work. Thankyou so much James ❤️

Amazing photographer with a personal touch
I can't recommend James highly enough!! We had James do the photography for our wedding day and not only is he extremely personable but he took the time to get to know me and my husband and what we would like and not like. We're both quite silly and laid back people, so we wanted our wedding to be a fairly informal affair. James captured all the wonderful moments of us messing around and throwing cake at each other. His photography managed to reflect the fun of the day and he took some beautiful shots while I was getting ready. He really captured our personalities in the photos and I was so, so pleased with the album. I'd highly recommend James to anyone looking for a fantastic wedding photographer!

Very professional and wonderful to work with.
James made sure that we are comfortable while taking the photos. The weather was not great but it didn't hinder James from taking great pictures. We had fun and everything went well. Thank you James!

Absolutely fantastic
James not only took some amazing photos of our wedding, he also made us feel completely comfortable and we really enjoyed having our photos taken (we usually don’t!). He really captured us as a couple without the typical staged wedding shots. He was so flexible and accommodating on the day, even bringing treats for our dog to help her stay focussed on being photographed! Very personable, fun, unintrusive and professional. Would highly recommend

Highly recommend
Absolutely amazing! Made everyone feel so comfortable especially my 3 year old daughter. Photos were absolutely beautiful. Never liked photos being taken but never loved pictures with me in them more than I love these.
