I approach weddings with a simple mindset—capture it properly, without turning it into something it’s not.
You won’t spend your day being directed or pulled away from your guests. I keep things relaxed, stepping in when needed, but mostly allowing moments to happen naturally. That’s where the best images come from—real reactions, real atmosphere, real connection.
What makes my work different is the balance. Images that feel effortless, but are carefully observed. Nothing forced, nothing overdone—just your day, captured with intention.
From the morning build-up to the last moments on the dance floor, I’m focused on telling the full story. The big moments matter, but so do the in-between ones—the ones you didn’t even realise were happening.
Couples often tell me how easy it felt. No pressure, no awkward posing—just someone there who gets it, and knows when to step in or step back.
Every wedding is treated individually. No templates, no routines—just a genuine approach to capturing your day as it deserves to be remembered.

What does the wedding package include?
Your images will be sent via post on a USB stick for your safe keeping. I will also send you a link via email that you can send to your friends & family to share your special day, for everyone to see
How far in advance should I contact you?
The further ahead of time the better to secure the day. I have been booked from a little as 4 week prior to the big day to almost two years away
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
Yes
Can you travel?
Yes, i cover any location in the UK and aboard. I work around you, your location and your wishes
What is the charge for travelling?
Within 35 miles, there are not travelling fee's, beyond, its calculated when i am given the location(s) and built into the final quote

What kind of technology do you use?
Digital
Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach?
Natural light. Real moments. No pressure. I guide when needed, but focus on capturing your day honestly, without turning it into a photoshoot
What kind of equipment do you use?
Professional premium equipment which are checked/cleaned regularly. 2x Nikon mirrorless bodies and three lenses. Enables me to have two different lens to capture everything on the day
Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?
Yes, after the big day, once the images are edited, they will be sent via USB. I also send a Google Drive link for you to share with family and friends as you wish so they also can see the day in full
What's the delivery time for a photographic report?
1 month
Do you send all the photos taken?

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?
Alone
In case of unforeseen circumstances, do you have a replacement photographer?

Do you have the rights to publish the wedding photos?

Do you charge per hour or per event?
Per event
If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?

How do you charge extra time?
Yes, the option to add extra time is possible. Even if on the night, your having a great time and want me to stay, i can stay as long as you want
What are the forms of payment?
I ask for a 50% deposit to secure the day. I then ask for the remaining fee to be paid in full a week before the wedding, all via bank transfer
How do you work?
I have an easy to approach, friendly attitude before, on and after the big day. We have a consultation before the big day plus I ask for a priority list of the most important shots on the day to you

Living photos
James was just fantastic throughout every part of our planning and wedding. Photos were the most important thing to my partner so he was the first person we booked! Every supplier we worked with commented on how professional and well organised he was, even dealing with a crisis and ambulance visit midway through our morning pics! He's calm and has a fantastic eye for detail - I can feel the story being spoke through the pictures. Thank you so much for capturing our day and keeping our story alive for us

Nice chap, great photos
James was excellent. I gave him a hard task. I wanted nice photos, in a very short time with a bride not so keen on having her photo taken.
By the end, the bride was having a fabulous time, we got great photos and James did everything we asked and more without a fuss. Our wedding party was small, (just 4 of us) but James slotted in, did the job and was great. A small selection of the photos we liked. But there were lots.

James was amazing to have at our wedding in September. James made the photography run really smoothly. James is d sad i professional , interacted with guests and was praised by all the wedding guests what a great guy he is. We couldn’t have chosen a better photographer for our day. We loved our pictures we got back. We highly recommended James as a photographer, professional, super friendly and makes the day really special. We had a lot of laughs with James on the day and created some beautiful memories.

The easiest and best decision we made!
James we knew he was the photographer for us! I’m certainly not a natural in front of the camera and would go as far as saying that I hate having my photo taken. James put me at ease straight away. He talked us through how the day would work, I gave him a list of the few staged photos we wanted and he then worked his magic. We are so delighted with the outcome. James managed to take beautiful, natural shots along with my listed staged photos.I loved that he talked us through the photos over zoom before sending them to us, it was lovely to relive the day.

Very professional and wonderful to work with.
