Hotel Wedding Venues in Argyll

My partner and I got married at Lodge on Loch Lomond in October 2025 and it really was the best day of our lives! The hotel and its surroundings are beautiful, our photographs are a complete dream, we are so happy with them. The days its self went smoothly from start to finish, the wedding coordinator and master of ceremonies were fantastic at ensuring everything went to plan and kept us calm along the way. Everything we asked for was achievable and our wedding was just as unique as we wanted it. All our guests have been saying it was a fantastic day, one big party from start to finish, which is exactly what we wanted it to be! Our wedding was held in the McMillan building, which all our guests stayed over in too, which was lovely. Most guests stayed 2 nights and we had a meal in the restaurant the night before for 40 people, which was a lovely little addition to the over all experience of getting married at the hotel. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to book their wedding, it is a breathtaking setting to tie the knot!

We recently had our wedding at Taychreggan hotel and couldn't recommend it enough! Having stayed there many times before, we felt that it was the most perfect, romantic setting for our special day and it did not disappoint! The staff were so friendly and welcoming and couldn't have done more to make our day run smoothly. Unlike other venues, Taychreggan don't have set packages and so you can tailor your day however you want. We booked out the venue for 2 nights and had our guests stay onsite. They arranged a BBQ for us on the first night followed by marshmallows at the fire pit. The actual wedding day went smoothly with the help of the staff and they set up all the decor just how we wanted so we could just enjoy the weekend! Special thank you to the Chef, Graham, who cooked an incredible wedding breakfast (the beef was perfect!) and also went out his way to make some special request items (irn bru sorbet!). Thank you also to the bartender Stuart who is very friendly and serves up the finest cocktails! From initial contact the to wedding day itself, it all felt very relaxed and well organised. The whole thing felt very stress free! We'll definitely be back to stay again in future!

We liked the cosiness and intimacy, the stone steps, the ability to have our guests in a circle around us, and of course the greenery and beautiful loch view … That day it drizzled very lightly but when I walked down the ‘aisle' a ray of sunshine came out from in-between the clouds. It was just magical!”

My wife and I cannot recommend Brenda highly enough. She was fantastic through every stage of the process. Fascadail was a perfect venue for our small and intimate wedding, which is what we always wanted. It’s a beautiful location, with fantastic views of loch long and the cobbler. The rooms were beautiful and clean, and perfect for newlyweds. In the morning, we were served with a lovely breakfast, special shout out for Brenda’s American pancakes! It is also pet friendly which meant our wee dog could join us for the day. Overall, really happy. FIVE STARS *****
