That’s genuinely the only way to describe our day at St Mary’s Space. From the very start Charlotte made us feel like she knew what we were trying to achieve, despite the distance between us (we’re in Suffolk for goodness sake), and both she and Jamie delivered in every way possible. When changes were needed she was accommodating, when reminders were needed for us, she was on the ball but never pushy. St Mary’s Space is, in itself, a wonderfully curated love affair to Charlotte and Jamie’s personalities. It’s bold, fascinating, yet incredibly relaxed and homely at the same time. You cannot be bored there. At least, no one was at our wedding and our age range was 11 to 81. Every supplier Charlotte enlisted hit the nail on the head, from cake and flowers to the ceilidh band to the hair and makeup. They were all sensational and don’t get me started on the photographers! Jamie’s food was incredible as well with grazing boards and a meal packed full of wonderful, local, seasonal flavours that had people asking for the recipes. The Sitooterie is a wonderful, eclectic, cosy cabin that was lovely and warm despite the January weather and is kitted out with everything you might need for your stay. It’s rustic but in the best way possible. The thing that really makes the day though is Charlotte and Jamie themselves. Always on hand, always in the right place at the right time yet never in the way. Thoughtful, organised and welcoming they really do welcome you into their home. We cannot recommend St Mary’s enough, there aren’t enough stars in the rating to really explain just how amazing they made our day. Simon & Jane.
