Emma, Abby and Diane ( not to forget all your other hard working staff ) Just a very short note from Andrew my husband and myself, to say a huge thank you to you all for making our day such a memorable one. From the moment we walked into the hotel in May/June when we first talked about dates, till we left (with tears of sadness at having to leave I must say!) on Friday 29th September 2017, we have been over whelmed at the assistance and dedication of the staff there. Everything was so professional and timed to perfection. From Sarah in The Stables who chatted with us the night before, Chefs and serving staff who cooked and served a fabulous meal, Shirley in the dining area who recognised us as being regulars to the hotel, Emma and Abby who talked over our preferred requirements and of course Diane who did a truly professional job on the day. I cant thank you all enough. We wanted a relaxed and non formal event and we surely got everything we hoped for. Hugs from the new Mr & Mrs Nicholl.

Our wedding day was truly fantastic! Apart from the weather, it could hardly have gone any better. It was exactly what we wanted, planned and hoped for. A dream come true! We and our guests all had a great time, and loved the venue. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and worked very hard. Special mention must be made of Abby who was a tower of strength throughout, put us at ease and gave us confidence at every stage. we shall be back to enjoy the Hotel again in the future, probably quite often! Thank you all for everything you have done through the long and tortuous process. You've been amazing.

I would have thought it would be impossible to plan a wedding in only 5 weeks, but thanks to the help and support of the events team we did it! I was impressed at just how professional, friendly and supportive they were whenever I rang about a concern that I had. On our wedding day itself Diane and her staff did more than I could have ever expected, they helped by dressing the tables and ensured that everything from the wedding breakfast, food service and evening disco went smoothly. I had nothing but positive comments from all of my wedding guests that attended our special day. I would just like to pass on our sincere thanks to all of the staff that were involved with us from the initial enquiry to the check out post wedding, I would not hesitate to recommend the Hall Garth to anybody.

I would just like to say a BIG thank you to every member of staff who made our day VERY special. From the moment we arrived at the hotel we were made to very extremely special and welcome. This continued throughout the duration of our weekend and it was lovely. We had many friends and family staying at the hotel also, each one of them commented on how beautiful and intimate the hotel and grounds were. Our toast master on the day deserves a special mention, she made sure everybody was in the right place at the right time and ensured the day ran smoothly. I would also like to thank the events team who looked after us brilliantly from our first appointment to our last and answered endless questions and kept us on the right track. Thank you!!! I would just like to thank all of the staff at the Hall Garth hotel for ensuring our day went so perfectly. After our first initial show around appointment we knew this is where we would like to spend our special day, all of the staff we encountered were friendly and made us feel at ease immediately. On our wedding day all of the staff worked so hard to make sure everything ran so perfectly. From the minute we woke up your staff could not have done anymore for us. Myself and family members made full use of the leisure facilities during our weekend stay, we enjoyed relaxing in the pool and Jacuzzi the night prior to my wedding and also on the day itself your therapists did my make-up, I would just like to say a special thanks to them for doing this - everybody commented on how lovely and natural I looked. My wedding room looked amazing, flowers were beautiful and the disco on the evening had everybody up on the dance floor at some point of the night. All of the staff who dealt with us on the day, was professional and friendly and everybody thought you all did a great job. Thank you all again for such a memorable day.

After we visited the Hall Garth Hotel for our first appointment we knew this is where we wanted to spend our special day. The wedding planners were very helpful and informative, the grounds were in a beautiful setting and only a short distance from the A1 motorway. Many of our friends and family had travelled long distances to be a part of our special day meaning they spent the entire weekend at the hotel, from the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome, which continued until we left on the Sunday. On the wedding day itself everything ran like clockwork and was perfect, we realise the amount of hard work that was put into the day, at an already very busy time. The food and service was fantastic, which a lot of our friends and family commented on also. I would like to thank every member of staff who we dealt with for being so helpful, cheerful and totally efficient in what they did. I will be recommending your venue.

From the beginning to end of our wedding day everything was so perfect and nothing at all too much trouble. It was easy to see just how hard all of the staff worked to make our special day such a success. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds with very picturesque surroundings which was perfect for our summer wedding The food and service throughout the day was amazing and we are already making plans to come back next year to celebrate our anniversary. After looking around lots of wedding venues and getting prices for packages my fiancé Tim and I decided on the Hallgarth. Our main reasons for this were that the hotel was full of character, has numerous areas for guests to mingle and meet, including lounges, theStables Bar, the leisure centre and the beautiful extensive grounds. Along with this it offers excellent value for money,quality food and equally important all the staff are friendly, approachable and very professional. From the first meeting with Kelly our wedding co- ordinator our confidence in the choice for our important day grew. Over the next nine months we had several meetings with both Kelly,Emma and our package suppliers Camera A Photographers, First Class Wedding Company for the chair covers and sashes, Nattrass for the table flowers and Ian Gee Roadshow for the disco. Nothing was too much trouble, and we began to see our wedding coming together. We could see improvements being made to the hotel each time we visited, such as new carpets, interior decorating and lovely patio area. As part of our package we were given a 15% discount on room booked for guests staying over and this was a big help too. We chose a package for 60 daytime guests and 100 night time. Jane our photographer did a pre-wedding shoot for us and from this she created a lovely signage board for guests at our wedding to write comments on. As soon as we saw the quality of the photographs from the shoot we knew we were in good hands. Angela and John of first class weddings helped us organise our turquoise theme for the chairs and tables, along with a beautiful starlight backdrop and skirt for the top table. Nattrasses helped us with our choice of ivory roses in fishbowls plus top table flowers and Ian helped us sort our disco music choices and his famous mood lighting. We had meetings with Kelly to choose menu and sort table plans and structure the day, and Ian our toastmaster, who was to be with us all day on our wedding day. Sooner than we imagined the big day dawned. Our day started with Jane the photographer taking photos at home. She was so calming and helpful. After a wonderful church ceremony we drew up in our beautiful car, (Florence the rolls Royce from white orchid cars highly recommended) and we were met by Ian then whisked away by Jane to get photographs done in the wonderful grounds including the secret garden where wedding ceremonies are often performed. The guests who were enjoying drinks on the patio area were then taken into the air conditioned Summerson suite for us to make our entrance as husband and wife. The room looked incredible and the 3 course meal that was served was hot, delicious and plentiful. Throughout the day Ian and the staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble and of course Jane was always in the background quietly taking snaps. As evening approached Ian Gee arrived to set up his disco and mood lighting. We decided at the last minute to have mood lighting, blue to match our colour scheme. We are so glad that we did as it made a tremendous difference and completely transformed the room. Ians music soon had the guests up dancing and he happily played any requests. The buffet was brought out and was varied and delicious. Too soon the evening came to an end and we retired to our complimentary beautiful four poster bridal suite. Breakfast was exceptional and on speaking to our guests we had glowing reports all round of our wonderful wedding day. We cant believe how perfect it had been from start to finish. Tim and I wrote thank you letters to all the staff and suppliers, including Pam Mooney the manager. Pam took the time to answer us personally and this is one of the things that sets this hotel apart. She leads by example always taking the time to chat and this is the same from the cleaning team to the reception staff. They take a pride in customer service and we always felt like we really mattered. Tim and I now pop in regularly at the Hallgarth and we are greeted as friends. We cant recommend this venue enough as it didn't just meet our expectations it exceeded them. Our day was perfect and we are so glad we chose this venue. We recently had our wedding at Hall Garth and couldn’t have chosen a better venue. From the beginning of wedding preparations up until the day itself the events team (Kelly and Emma) were extremely helpful in the organisation of our day and always happy to answer any questions we had. On the day itself, all staff, particularly Bev ensured that everything ran smoothly and she was always on hand if we needed anything. On the evening before the wedding we had a meal in the hotel, there were 20 of us altogether and this was organised by staff at the hotel with as much care as the wedding itself. We were given our own private dining area and the food was fantastic. I can recommend Hair at Hall Garth for bridal hair and make up was also done by staff at the hotel. We had our ceremony in the beautiful secret garden and to get married in such picturesque surroundings was very special. I have only positive comments to make about Hall Garth and would recommend it for anyone to get married at. Many of our guests stayed at the hotel and really enjoyed their stay. All staff were welcoming and extremely helpful in making our wedding a day to remember.

I would like to say a huge thank you to all the staff at Hall Garth for their hard work in making our wedding day so magical. We knew Hall Garth was the venue for us as the staff are so lovely and helpful; Clare, Kelly and Emma put in so much work to make sure we had the day we dreamed of, we just can't thank you enough. The hotel is set in a beautiful location with lovely grounds, and all the hotel facilities are fab. I didn't get a chance to use the spa but relatives with kids all had a great time in the pool the morning after the wedding. Our honeymoon suite was complimentary, and it was gorgeous, with huge sash windows and views of the golf course and grounds, a lovely four poster bed, beautifully decorated, just perfect.Our parents stayed in the other suites and loved them. The hotel has it's own pub on site, as well as a lovely restaurant.Every one of our guests commented on how lovely the food was - especially the surprise success of my husband's request for haggis buns with the evening buffet! Clare managed our day so attentively that she even spotted Andrew and I hadn't a chance all night to get ourselves anything from the evening buffet, so she thoughtfully made up some plates for us. It's these extra touches that make Hall Garth so special. I would strongly recommend Hall Garth to anyone, the building is lovely and unique, the setting is secluded and picturesque, the food is delicious and all the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. If you choose Hall Garth as your wedding venue, the staff genuinely care about your needs and will make sure your day is wonderful and unique to you
