Gosforth Civic Theatre (GCT) is a unique and unusual venue located in Newcastle, Tyne & Wear. GCT is an amazing social enterprise founded by a group of people with learning disabilities to bring the local community together and foster understanding, creativity, and change.

We understand your choice of venue is important. It may be somewhere that inspires you or is in sync with your core values; it may be somewhere with a great sound system and dance floor or delicious food and drinks options; or it may just be somewhere that's flexible enough to bring the people you love together in a way that suits you.

You will have a flexible, professional theatre and music venue at your finger tips. Including full theatrical lighting, gig quality sound system, HD cinema, a dedicated tech and event team, alongside our professional kitchen, bar and catering team, to make your event anything you want it to be.

We’re dedicated to using local suppliers, products and seasonal produce which are sustainable and ethically sourced in all our menus. By holding your event here you will be supporting our work with people with learning disabilities; as well as supporting a vital community venue.
