The Coach House at Markshall is beautiful and provided the setting for our perfect wedding—we truly had the best day of our lives. We cannot recommend this place enough!
From start to finish, the team was exceptional. Special shoutout to Joanna and Saffron, who were so helpful and made both the planning process and the actual wedding day go completely smoothly.
The catering was wonderful, and we had a great experience working with Adam to get everything just right. A special mention for the food, multiple guests had said it was the best cheesecake ever!

Well I don't really know where to start with this review so sorry if this goes on a bit.

From the moment we came back to view Marks Hall after viewing it before 'covid' and meeting with Adam we knew it was our venue
Adam was kind, helpful, great to chat with and we paid our deposit there and then even though they'd only just taken over management of the Coach House, which was a bit of a risk, but he seemed like he knew what he was doing. Adam was super helpful with any questions I had and helping me measure up my banquet tables and just generally dealing with me being a bride with 1m questions. So Adam, I want to say a huge thank you, you're really good at what you do.

When we came for our final meeting we met with Joanna who would be our coordinator on the day and honestly, we immediately felt a weight lift off our shoulders. Organised, kind and patient with our hyperactive 3 year old, helping make sure we had everything ready and in order for our Big Day and to help us create our vision. The day before the big day she stayed with us for hours while I faffed about with the finishing touches of styling my big day and honestly I don't think we could have done it without her. Joanna - you felt like a friend during our wedding and I will never forget that, you are incredible at what you do.

Our on the day planner Liv was just the best at making sure we were both wanting for nothing, even running around the estate with a plate of Canapés for us (I did not want to miss out so thank you so much for that 😆). I also won't forget the trust you put in me with the weather (a week of rain and not a drop on our big day). Thank you Liv you were brilliant, I'm so glad we had you.

And finally the bar staff, we have had so many comments about how friendly and nice the bar staff are and to me that's a huge part of any event! Rude staff = bad vibes.

We had nothing but buzzing vibes all day and night and honestly, although I am biased, it was the best wedding I've ever been to. Our day was more than we had dreamed of and just perfect in every way and you guys played a huge part in that, that we could never thank you enough for.

Anyway I think I've banged on enough now but, honestly guys, well done, I wish you every success with future weddings at Marks Hall, but I bet the vibe of ours will be hard to beat 😜.

We had the absolute pleasure of getting married at the Coach House at the beginning of April 2026.

From start to finish, the service we received as a couple was exceptional. Adam made us feel welcome from our very first email enquiries through to our first face to face meeting and then in every interaction thereafter, as we planned our special day.

Nothing was too much trouble, even when we threw in curveballs; demonstrated our lack of experience/understanding; or wanted to introduce more DIY elements to our day...every email was answered quickly and in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner.

Along the way we were also supported by Joanna and Kayley, who were also present at our preparation meetings and on our actual wedding day. Again, they were both incredible in every way - helping us to achieve so many different parts to our day, without hesitation or fuss, and always with kindness and a smile!

Our Wedding Day itself was frankly perfect and was everything we had dreamed of and more; and so much of that was as a result of the hard work and clear commitment from Adam, Joanna and Kayley - who all worked their socks off throughout the day. They made sure every element of the day occurred seamlessly and that despite our nerves, we were made to feel comfortable and cared for at their venue.

This experience was also noted by all our daytime and evening guests, who have all remarked since on how excellent the team were throughout the different parts of the day. "They could not have done more for us all" is a comment we have heard from our closest family members.

There's a reason we have focused on the team ahead of the venue; and that is because if you choose to get married at the Coach House, yes you are getting an exceptionally beautiful and picturesque venue (the interior and exterior areas are simply stunning - they speak for themself)...but more than anything from our experience, you are getting the skills, knowledge and absolute dedication of an incredible team that will truly make a difference to your wedding day.

Thank you Adam, Joanna and Kayley - we appreciate everything you did for us and wish you all the best as your journey with the Coach House continues. You all deserve the very best!
