Enterkine Country House and Resort is an idyllic wedding venue in the Dumfries Galloway & Ayrshire region of the United Kingdom. An incredible privately owned estate in the beautiful Ayrshire countryside that is exclusively yours for your day. You decide what you want. We have no fixed formula or regime for you to follow. We follow you. Our estate is yours for your special day.
Facilities and Capacity
In the House, we cater for between 40 to 70 guests; if your wedding numbers are more significant, our luxurious marquee can be customised to your personal preferences and requirements and caters for up to 200 guests. Plan your wedding meal with our award-winning head chef, Paul Moffat. A comprehensive range of extra services are available on request.
Your wedding is a unique occasion, and Enterkine is an amazing location. We know how important your special day is. The House
Weddings in the house are memorable, and it is as if we give you the keys to the house and ask you to hand them back after celebrations. We look after you from the enquiry stage to departure.
A sample wedding would include
- Option of a civil wedding ceremony in The Garden Room or Outside (weather permitting)
- Toastmasters greet and guide all the guests throughout the day
- Personalised place cards, menu and table plan
- Discounted accommodation rates for the house and Kirk House
- Menu choice to cater for all children/vegetarians, etc.
We can also arrange many “Treats” such as fireworks, string quartet, harpist, piper, chair covers and ties, and beauty or pre-day clay pigeon shooting and quad biking for the bridal party.
Marquee
Our marquee can accommodate a minimum of 100 and up to a maximum of 250 guests for your wedding celebration.
The fee for exclusive use of the marquee includes:
- Exclusive use of self-contained marquee, cloakrooms and rest rooms
- All furniture, linen crockery and glassware
- Drinks reception area
- Table linen and Napkins
- Red Carpet
- Master of Ceremonies
