Beautifully renovated, well designed interiors throughout. Function rooms/bar/lounge and bedrooms are very nice!

My husband and I got married at the Fenwick Hotel back in July and our day was nothing short of perfect. As soon as we met with Chloe, we felt so at ease. She helped us through every step of the planning process. Our day ran so smoothly from the very start, the meal was amazing and bar staff were also fantastic. All of our guests have complimented on how perfect the day was and the Fenwick Hotel will always be a special place that my husband and I will continue to visit. Chloe is a credit to the hotel and we can’t thank her enough for making our day so special. 🤍🤍🤍

Management and Staff at the Gables Hotel Gretna We would like to express our thanks and appreciation for the high standard of treatment we received when we held our Wedding reception at the Gables Hotel on 12th December 2008. We cannot fault any contact with staff prior to the wedding and throughout our stat. Our wedding co-ordinator was Craig, who met us at the evening prior to the wedding, discussed final plans and who was present throughout the wedding reception. We feel that the attention Craig and all the other staff gave us made our day extra special. We would like you to pass on our thanks and gratitude to the staff involved in our day. The quality of the rooms, the food and the organisation of our wedding reception, including the tables was truly exceptional. Our family, friends and we look back on our stay in Gretna with great memories and we genuinely think this is due to the care we all received during our stay.

My husband and I got married at western house hotel last month and were blown away with how beautiful it was and how incredibly helpful the staff all were. Laura our wedding coordinator was always at the other end of an email or phone call with all our questions and nothing was a bother to her or the amazing staff. They were all brilliant and cannot express how grateful we are to them all. The venue itself is stunning and we instantly fell in love with it after viewing a few places, we requested that the fire be lite for our ceremony which wasn’t a hassle and Laura kept me and my bridal party right. We would highly highly recommend western house hotel. They made our wedding day even more magical.

The Gailes made our day completely magical. We got married outside at the gazebo, but they set up indoors and outdoors to allow me to make the decision an hour before the ceremony based on the weather. They made sure they had in the drinks in that we requested. Jamie, Kathleen and the staff all made sure our day ran so smoothly. The only slight thing to note is that the “breast of chicken” option on the menu was actually served as chicken on the bone to a lot of our guests, which a few did complain to us about so I would confirm with staff about this before your big day. But otherwise we really couldn’t fault the whole venue. The extra room for the kids to play in was such a hit as well, and the honeymoon suite is ideal for the morning getting ready. The wedding venue is also completely wheelchair friendly, but I would note that the disabled rooms in the hotel are not as they have baths and not walk in showers.

We got married at The Waterside in May 2019 and our day was perfect. Venue, surroundings and the view are what made us fall in love with the venue. On the day staff made sure everything ran smoothly which meant we could just enjoy or special day.

We had our wedding at this venue. We wanted something small and just for us and our family. The hosts were extremely flexible and helpful. We ended up having a meal prepared by them and were very pleased. All the guest loved the venue and had wonderful time. The venue is very spacious and provides you to have plenty of space for you and your guest. All the rooms were clean and tidy. And if we had any concerns or questions, the host responded in few minutes and we had wonderful time. We are planning to book the venue for other celebrations as well.
