Being a bride at the Eglinton Arms Hotel was an incredible experience I will never forget. From the minute we went to view the venue, to checking out after the wedding it was a complete 5 star experience. Nothing was too much trouble, the staff went above and beyond at every turn and made our wedding the perfect day. I honestly cannot recommend this venue enough.

Eglinton was our first venue to go and see and we loved it instantly.

It's an understated country -esque feeling hotel nestled in a lovely little village of Eaglesham, not far from where we stay in East Kilbride. You get married in Earls Hall downstairs and enjoy your wedding breakfast in the Gilmour Suite. That is a massive pluspoint not waiting on a room getting turned over from ceremony to wedding reception.

The planning - flawless. Louize Hollywood and her team are fantastic, every question and query answered, every request met. I was never pushed with decisions and I was guided where needed.

The venue - amazing. The staff on the lead up to and on the day are a credit to the company. Mark the out of retirement general manager who ran things like clockwork on the day, I cannot thank you enough. You made me and my bridal party feel so special and your workmanship did not go unnoticed by others.

I was able to stay in the honeymoon suite the night before which was a fabulous little touch with my MOH.

The package was the all inclusive package we opted for and I cannot fault it. The little things that are included are so helpful to stressed out brides and takes some pressure off. The stationary is included which is your top table on a mirrored background, table numbers/names, place settings and menus. Candleabra centrepieces are also included. These look absolutely grand on the table and tbh who remembers your table decor, BUT i did end up opting for some extra decor through a company and swapped these out for vases and candles. The venue is very accomodating to your suppliers.

The package was for 50 with a requirement of 60 on a weekend. We knew we would have minimum numbers and eventually had 72 adults and 6 kids. It included 4 drinks pp which I felt was very generous. The food was FANTASTIC and I think majority of my guests have commented on this. The package included 3 canapes 3 course meal with tea/coffee and roll buffet at night. We only added 1 extra canape and chips to the buffet at night which was welcomed by our drunken guests lol! The rolls were superb.

I should also mention that you get a menu tasting at this venue where the chef comes out oersonally to ho over your choices! That was a lovely touch and as it is part of your wedding experience, we didnt pay a penny for 3 courses tea/coffee and glass of wine (the wine that would be served at the wedding).

I would chose this venue over and over again for what a wonderful day they provided. It's an affordable venue with a beautiful touch of the country feel to it.

We recently had our wedding at the Eglinton Arms Hotel. What a fantastic day we had. The venue was set up beautifully and the staff fantastic and the attention to details was brilliant. From arriving at the venue the night before, everyone was so kind, helpful and very efficient. Nothing was bother. Adrian and Mark were fantastic and kept us right on the day. The Earls Hall was outstanding and we couldn’t have asked for a better setting or assistance for our special day.

I cannot thank the hotel staff enough for the treatment we got from every member of staff at the hotel, we were treated like celebrities, everyone we have spoken to have said it was the best wedding they had been to including the quality of the meal, I would 100% recommend this venue to anyone looking for a hotel to get married, it was the best day ever ♥️

On first viewing the hotel we knew it was the place we wanted to get married. The hotel had a lovely feel to it giving it a more intimate vibe. From start to finish, the planning, to the tasting menus, to everything on the day itself, was perfect!

We got married here last Saturday and what a day it was.
From start to finish the team at this hotel have been super attentive and helpful. A massive thanks to Sarah-Jayne and Louize for being with us every step of the wedding planning process. The general manager Adrian (AKA Hype Boss) is a credit to this venue! He was on the ball, super organised and able to make our wedding run the way we had dreamed it. The Eglinton Arms, where to begin…

From the initial show around to leaving the hotel after the wedding it was an absolute dream. When we first booked to have a look around we weren’t sure what to think, living only 10mins up the road we had driven past it numerous times so thought we would just have a look. We are glad we did!

Louize, an absolute angel, literally couldn’t have asked for anyone better to help plan our day. You can tell she really cares about her couples and ensuring they have the best possible day. Nothing was too much hassle, no question was too silly and the vast amount of emails from myself always went answered. Honestly, the best person to have in your corner to help plan your day.

The day itself was an absolute dream. We were lucky enough that we were able to have our drinks reception outside and it went down a treat. The food was fabulous, everyone commented how amazing it was and the clear plates definitely reflected that. The space itself was perfect and was something that we didn’t feel needed adding to in terms of decoration, a couple of chair bows and table runners and it was our vision of perfection.

Now to the main man on the day himself, Adrian. He introduced himself to me the night before and I knew instantly we were going to be in safe hands that day! Again nothing was too much hassle and he ensured that everything went how it should. I think everyone needs an Adrian on their day.

Our wedding, was a dream. Put together a bunch of Scots, Geordies and ALOT of whiskey and we had a spectacular day, but it wouldn’t have been the half of that if it hadn’t of been for everyone at The Eglinton Arms.

We had simply the most amazing day! Everything from the minute we met you and started planning until we left as Mr & Mrs went perfect. The whole process was so easy and stress free. The venue looked stunning, and everyone has complimented the food, which was the best food we have ever had at a wedding! The whole team at the hotel just couldn’t do enough to help us and we are incredibly grateful for their help in making our special day!

We had our special day on the 8th of December 2023. Having only booked at the end of January 2023. Louize our wedding planner took care of everything and eliminated all the stress that a wedding can bring. From our first meeting to our last meeting, we enjoyed every single moment of planning and preparing for our special day. The wedding package we chose suited us as a couple and the hotel were more than accommodating of all our needs. We absolutely loved the venue which was decorated for Christmas, this just made our photos even more amazing. We cannot thank all the staff for ensuring that our day went without any hiccups and how professional and kind everyone was to not only us but our guests also. We would never have chose anywhere else for our venue. We would always recommend The Eglington Arms as it has such a special place in our hearts!
