Wedding reception

We held our wedding reception at East Afton on 5th November 2025 and had a truly wonderful experience from start to finish. We stayed in the Farmhouse and Annex and found the accommodation to be spacious, comfortable, and perfect for a relaxed wedding stay. It really added to the whole experience.

The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and hardly needs any decoration, though we added some autumnal touches of our own. Being able to set up two days before made the whole process incredibly smooth and took away so much of the usual pre-wedding stress.

Chloe and Mel were fantastic throughout the planning stages. They put our minds at ease, helped us shape the schedule, and were always quick with solutions whenever we had questions. I visited the venue multiple times and they were consistently welcoming and supportive. They even allowed me to bring my parents—who don’t live on the island—so they could be involved in the planning. Their advice on layout and décor was so helpful, and they contacted all our suppliers in advance, which took a huge amount of pressure off us. We had quite a few extras, including a beer pong table, a foosball table, and a DJ, and everything was coordinated seamlessly. They even helped me organise a last-minute bouquet for my mum after I realised I’d left her gift on the mainland, which was very thoughtful.

On the day itself, Lisa was our coordinator, and she was absolutely brilliant. She brought the whole schedule to life with such calmness and precision. I felt a bit stressed before the reception began, but she was so reassuring and warm. The entire team was attentive and professional, and so many of our guests commented on how great the service was—especially how their prosecco glasses were constantly topped up during welcome drinks! Everything flowed exactly as we’d hoped, and the evening was truly fabulous.

Overall, East Afton gave us the perfect reception and we couldn't be more grateful. If you’re looking for a beautiful venue with an exceptional team who genuinely care, we can’t recommend it enough

The best venue ever

Chloe, Mel, Lisa and Kevin and the rest of the hard working team, thank you so much for the attention to detail and a team you actually want to take home with you. The food was delightful, the management of the guests was perfect!

Every one of our guests gave wonderful feedback to the venue, it is the perfect and only place to be for a wedding.

What can say ! East Afton farmhouse blew us away the moment we saw it and we knew it was the venue for us! We we so grateful to the team for making anything possible right down to the last thing! Mel you were truely amazing and I can begin to thank you for every effort you made that day to make it so seamless for us! Even taking my gum for me before I walked down the aisle lol! Lisa you are genuinely a super hero !! Anything we wanted all day you made possible and I’ve never seen anyone run as fast as you all day you both are the stars of the shows ! Thank you to everyone as easy Afton for making our wedding everything it was, but especially you too, you made us both feel like ease !

The most sensational wedding!

I don’t even know where to begin!!! East Afton farmhouse is the venue of dreams!! It’s got everything you needand more. The team were unbelievable, Chloe the manager was super responsive from the beginning when I emailed to come and see the venue, she replied straight away and I was there within 30 mins. Any question I had Chloe replied almost instantly, and nothing was too much trouble or too hard. I’m a perfectionist so I was nervous but my wedding at East Afton wasn’t just perfect it was unreal. Mel the coordinator was truly amazing!! She made the whole day run sooo smoothly even rained the entire day I can’t even remember any rain! I didn’t have to think of anything I just relaxed and enjoyed myself. Mel was “the clock” she was unbelievably personable with all of my family and friends and remembered everyone’s names!!
The venue also have stationary, props, a florist and caterers so it’s an all in one package. Made my planning process a whole lot easier.
We also did a day 2 at the venue. Mel arrived in the morning and set up all the previous day’s decorations so when I came down from being ready the place was transformed.
These guys really know how to do weddings perfectly. I couldn’t recommend them enough. If I was to do it all again I wouldn’t change a thing. Thank you xxxxx

What a day - what a venue!

East Afton Farmhouse was the perfect venue for our special day. Set in the most breathtaking surroundings, with stunning gardens, and the most picturesque barn.

What really made our wedding day unforgettable was the incredible team behind the scenes, particularly Chloe and Mel.
Chloe's warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail truly made us feel at ease throughout the entire process. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and her guidance during the planning stages made our vision come to life effortlessly.

Chloe and Mel organised our suppliers arrival, which meant that we felt completely relaxed on the day knowing that the fine details had been taken care of by them.

A huge shoutout to Mel, who was an absolute star on the day. She kept everything running smoothly, ensuring that our guests were well taken care of and that we could enjoy every moment without a single worry. Mel was a calming presence, guiding everyone with a smile, and we couldn't have asked for a more dedicated or thoughtful coordinator. What a woman!

We felt so supported by the entire team, and we are forever grateful for the seamless experience they provided. The venue itself is beyond beautiful, but it’s the people who make it truly special. Thank you, Chloe, Mel and team for making our wedding day everything we hoped for and more!

Our dream wedding day

We cannot recommend East Afton Farmhouse as your wedding venue enough. The main draw for us was having the venue for 4 nights but on top of this, the venue is absolutely stunning and the team are incredible. We have had so many guests tell us how well and smooth the day went and that’s all due to the amazing team at East Afton.
We went for an all inclusive package and the team at seasoned kitchen are also just as amazing, the food was soo yummy!
We were made to feel so special, something a lot of other venues did not make us feel when visiting.
On top of this there is tapnell farm with so many activities so we really felt all our guests were able to make a holiday out of our wedding weekend if they wanted to!

Best wedding ever!

We honestly couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding day, and that's all thanks to the incredible team at East Afton Farmhouse.

From the very beginning, Chloe and Mel were absolutely amazing - so organised, helpful, and reassuring throughout the entire planning process. No question was too small, and they made us feel completely supported every step of the way.

On the big day itself, Lisa and the team brought everything together flawlessly. We didn’t have to worry about a single thing - the timings, the schedule, the flow of the day - it was all taken care of seamlessly, allowing us to truly relax and soak up every moment.

We also stayed onsite in the farmhouse, which was spotless and had absolutely everything we needed. The cinema room was such a brilliant touch - perfect for guests of all ages and a real hit throughout the weekend!

Not to forget the beautiful surrounding gardens - they made for the most stunning backdrop and gave our guests plenty of space to explore and enjoy.

Our friends and family haven’t stopped talking about how incredible the whole experience was. We genuinely can’t thank the team enough for making our day so special - it was everything we dreamed of and more.

Perfect venue!

Fantastic venue for our festival wedding. The team helped us to create our unique festival wedding using the whole venue and joined in the fun and vibe we wanted to create. The day was excellently planned and executed with no stress at all for us as everything was organised and pre-empted by the fantastic staff. They are easy to talk to and always available, and work very hard to realise your vision. On the day they are attentive and professional but also fun and reassuring.
The venue itself is stunning and worth every penny. Definitely recommend, was a perfect day.

Perfect day!

Our wedding at East Afton couldn’t have been more perfect. Not only is the venue itself stunning, but from our very first visit the staff went above and beyond to help us make our dream wedding a reality. They were always on hand every step of the way to answer our questions, share their knowledge and nothing was ever too much trouble. Their incredible organisation and attention to detail ensured everything ran smoothly from start to finish and their warmth, friendliness and humour made them a joy to spend the day with. If you’re looking for a gorgeous island venue that lets you enjoy a whole weekend of celebrations with your loved ones - we can’t recommend East Afton highly enough.

Incredible. The perfect venue!

We had the most incredible experience at East Afton Farmhouse – it truly was the perfect wedding venue from start to finish. From the moment we started planning, the team made everything feel so easy and stress-free. Chloe was absolutely amazing in the lead-up to the big day – so helpful, responsive, and calm, which made such a difference.

On the day itself, Mel and Lisa went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. We honestly can’t thank them enough – they were fantastic. Every single detail was taken care of, and we felt so supported throughout. The whole team was so organised, professional, and kind.

The venue itself is absolutely beautiful – so many of our guests commented on how stunning it was. Getting to stay in the farmhouse for three days made the celebrations feel even more special and gave us time to really soak it all in. It felt like a dream from beginning to end.
