We honestly cannot put into words how incredible our experience was from start to finish.
Chloe and Mel were amazing from the moment we booked. They were so attentive, helpful and genuinely excited for us, which made the build-up to our wedding even more special. Communication was always clear, and they were constantly on hand to answer any questions, big or small. They also worked their magic behind the scenes, wrangling our vendors and coordinating all the little details, which meant the day itself ran so smoothly and took so much of the organising stress off our shoulders.
They couldn’t have been more supportive in helping us get everything set up, and the house itself was absolutely beautiful. Having almost 30 of our favourite people around us for a few days before and after the wedding was such a joy and made the whole experience feel like so much more than just one day.
East Afton itself is simply the most stunning place to get married. Everywhere you look there is somewhere beautiful to sit, relax and soak in those really special moments. From the beautiful grounds to the little corners that gave us the chance to pause and take everything in, it felt like the perfect setting for our wedding. Having such a beautiful and peaceful place to share with our favourite people made the whole experience even more magical.
On the wedding day itself, Lisa and her team of staff were absolutely brilliant. They made everything run perfectly and took care of every little detail. Every part of the day went even better than we could have hoped. Everything looked beautiful, the day flowed like a dream, and our guests were so incredibly well looked after.
We constantly had a topped-up glass in our hands, and the team somehow managed to be there for every moment — helping organise the games, photos, food, disco and all the little fun moments that made the day so special. We genuinely didn’t have to worry about a thing.
People always say your wedding day is supposed to be the best day of your life, and they are right. It truly was. We couldn’t have been happier if we tried.
Thank you so much to Lisa, Chloe, Mel and the entire team. You made our wedding completely and utterly magical from start to finish, and we will be forever grateful. ❤️ -

Chloe, Mel and the whole East Afton team were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Having the venue from Thursday through to Monday made for an incredible, stress-free weekend. You're super close to the beach and having the Cow and the Aqua Park on site gave us plenty of exciting activities around the wedding day itself. Plus the cinema room on site went down great for the football!
The wedding day itself was a breeze, Lisa was on-site all day to manage vendor co-ordination and I didn't have to worry about a thing!

Choosing this venue was the best decision we made for our wedding! While the setting itself is absolutely stunning, it was the incredible team that truly made our day everything we dreamed of and more.
A huge thank you to Chloe for her outstanding support during the planning phase. Whether we had big questions or small, last-minute enquiries, Chloe was always there to help with a smile. She was so patient and thorough, ensuring that every detail was perfectly accounted for. When we walked in on the day, the setup was breathtaking. It was even better than we had pictured in our minds, and we know that was down to Chloe’s hard work behind the scenes.
We were also so incredibly lucky to have Mel as our coordinator on the big day. She was an absolute superstar, managing the timeline with such ease and professionalism. She kept everything moving perfectly without us ever feeling rushed or stressed, allowing us to simply be present and enjoy every single moment with our friends and family.
We have had so many guests reach out to us since the wedding to specifically mention what a fabulous, professional, and warm team they are. They truly elevated the entire experience and brought our vision to life in a way we never thought possible. If you want a venue where you are in the safest of hands and where every staff member is genuinely invested in your happiness, look no further.

We were honoured from the very beginning that you picked East Afton, when the place you called home is so far from the Island! A truly magical celebration, with all the guests having a mini holiday as well as partying at your wedding weekend! I'm sure one day Mel will take up the offer from many of your guests of a weekend in Ireland!!! Little B was the star of the show as well, and when your other little one arrives, I'm sure they will also be the happiest bundle of joy :)

The wedding weekend at East Afton Farmhouse went like a dream. Both in the run-up to the event and on the day - the staff were amazing - very responsive, nothing was too much trouble and we really appreciated their advice, having run so many weddings there before. It is a beautiful venue with many of our guests staying at Tapnell Farm which was managed equally well by the team. Special shout out to Chloe, Mel and Lisa and also Jo from Afton Blooms, Kevin from The Seasoned Kitchen, Fat Shaun (the hog roast was amazing on the night before) , Josh from Wightwood Pizza and Jason, our amazing photographer.East Afton Farmhouse's reply:

We honestly could not have chosen a more perfect venue for our wedding than East Afton Farmhouse. From the moment we first visited, we knew it was somewhere special, but the reality exceeded every expectation.
The setting is absolutely beautiful — relaxed, romantic, and full of character — with the most stunning countryside surroundings that made our day feel magical from beginning to end. Every part of the venue photographed beautifully and created the perfect atmosphere for our ceremony streaming to the cinema room, wedding breakfast and evening party.
What truly made the experience exceptional was the team. Nothing was too much trouble, and every detail was handled with such care, professionalism, and warmth. Planning a wedding can feel overwhelming at times, but we always felt supported and completely looked after.
Our guests are still talking about how incredible the venue was, from the accommodation to the flow of the day and the overall experience. It felt intimate, elegant, and relaxed all at once — exactly what we hoped for.

No need for a wedding planner with this venue- they do everything and more for you. I couldn't have hoped for a more helpful, pro-active, organised team to have walked us through the wedding process. Even more than this, the venue is immaculately set up for weddings and just so beautiful. It was truly a dream. -
