Situated in Windsor, Berkshire, The Coach House Barn at Dorney Court is a historic wedding venue. Set amidst woodlands, lakes, and parkland, it offers couples a romantic country wedding celebration at the magnificent Dorney Court. This Grade I listed Tudor manor house is conveniently positioned to the west of London and near the picturesque towns of Maidenhead, Windsor, and Eton.
Facilities and Capacity
The Coach House Barn at Dorney Court and offers a choice of fabulous event spaces and is licensed for civil ceremonies, so you needn't worry about travelling between locations. You can spend your entire wedding day on this idyllic estate. You can say your vows in the charming 12-century parish church, St. James the Less. The church can comfortably seat 80 people; additional seating in the vestry raises the capacity to 120. If you prefer a civil ceremony, you are welcome to use The Coach House Barn or The Great Hall in the main house. The Coach House Barn can seat up to 120 guests; The Great Hall can seat 60 and accommodate 20 standing guests in the upper gallery. The Coach House Barn is also perfect for your wedding reception. The delightful gardens and Mediterranean-inspired courtyard are also available during the warmer months. Gale Cottage, a luxury self-catering cottage, provides overnight accommodation for up to four people.

Wedding package features and options include in-house catering services, live band and DJ facilities, and planning support. Kroll wedding Dorney July26
We had the ceremony and drinks reception on the lawn outside the front of the house, in the most beautiful setting with our pianist and flowers as we envisaged it to be.
The food was delicious and drinks plentiful. Our guests loved some of the little touches Dorney provided like the sweet cart, pimping the prosecco station, festoon lighting in the courtyard and post meal coffee trolley.
We honestly cannot thank everyone at Dorney enough. You created a wonderful environment for our big day and we will treasure it forever because of the effort that you all went to.
Couldn't wish for a better wedding
We had so many compliments from guests about the food and drink where even my brother who is vegan said the alternative meal option we had chosen had been one of the best vegan wedding foods he's had so far!
Communication from the team was brilliant from the very beginning when we first viewed Dorney with Rachel, through the planning stages where I always had 100 questions, during the day when there was any updates or changes, and right up until after the wedding had taken place
We honestly cannot thank the team enough for how well the entire day went and an extra big thanks to Chloe for being an absolute godsend during the day of and offering extra help on any external blips we encountered.

Amazing wedding venue
The venue was beautiful and had everything we needed - lovely gardens, a great barn, and the flexibility to tailor our day to our liking.
Emma (our wedding coordinator) was extremely helpful during the planning stages, in the lead-up to the day, on the day as well as post-event, she made the process extremely easy.
The team on the day were efficient and super professional.
The on-site kitchen is outstanding - we did not do a tasting but picked what sounded best and we were not disappointed.

Stunning location and great team on hand behind the scenes
The grounds and house are absolutely stunning. However, don't think the high-end look stops you from making your wedding personal to you. We decided to do several things in a more homespun way (homemade cake, no DJ, homemade decorations) and the team were really accommodating of this, even though you can also go all out and source everything through suppliers as well if you like.
Worth every penny - thanks to the whole team ❤
Our Perfect Day
Stunning setting, superior service
Thankfully we were able to have the unrestricted wedding we planned, and throughout Lucie, Don and the team were fantastic, helping plan a scaled back 50% capacity scenario as well as the full-scale event we went on to have.
The venue is simply beautiful. We had welcome drinks and speeches on the main lawn in front of the original house, which is full of character. We then had our wedding breakfast and evening reception in the Coach House Barn - the old converted stables, which have been modernised, but retain some original features such as the ceiling beams. The in-house catering team were great, the food was delicious. The adjoining courtyard is the ideal setting for after-dinner mingling - we had a mini crazy golf course for guests while the band set up. It was the perfect day!
Lucie and Don gave us such wonderful service, both in the organisation and run up and on the day itself - and were very accommodating when we found ourselves running a little late after arriving from our church ceremony at a different location.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dorney Court as a wedding venue.
