🌿Say "I do" in the heart of the countryside at Deer Park Barn

Tucked away on the stunning Fonthill Estate, Deer Park Barn is a beautifully restored red brick and stone barn that brings rustic charm and timeless romance to your wedding day. Reached by crossing a picture-perfect white bridge and following a tree-lined track alongside the glistening Fonthill Lake, this hidden gem offers an unforgettable setting for your celebration.

Ideal for couples dreaming of a more intimate day, the barn seats up to 30 guests - perfect for a cosy dinner party or laid-back summer drinks. Planning something bigger? A marquee can be set up on the lawn just outside the barn, comfortably hosting several hundred guests for your reception, and dancing under the stars.

Inside, the barn features exposed beams, characterful stone walls and a wood-burning stove adding to the atmosphere. There’s a discreet open-plan kitchen, a separate shower room, and even a mezzanine sleeping platform tucked above. Double doors open onto a private courtyard and - ideal for an outdoor ceremony. Alternatively you can say ''I do'' on the lawn, where outdoor games, food trucks and drinks reception can be located or simply soaking up the sunshine with your guests.

Whether you're hosting a magical micro-wedding or a full weekend celebration, Deer Park Barn gives you the freedom to create an event that’s truly yours. Many couples also combine their event with nearby Quarry Wood for even more space and woodland vibes.

Guest Numbers: maximum of 30 guests seated inside for dinner and the ability to erect a large marquee on the lawn to house up to several hundred guests.

Access: for 4.5 days - if your event is on a Saturday, we give you access from Thursday morning until midday Monday, so why not make a weekend of it?

Camping: lots of space for camping - why not set up a bell tent village?

Dry Hire: you will need to hire everything you want to use ie. tables and chairs, stretch tent, marquee etc.

Noise Restrictions: amplified noise off at 11pm - but it doesn't mean you have to stop partying, carry on with a silent disco or acoustic guitar round the fire!

Time Curfew: none.

Suppliers : you are free to use whomever you want and we have a long list of recommended suppliers that we will share with you.

Accommodation: there is a selection of accommodation close by, including on the estate, we don’t manage it, but we can give you a list of what’s available.

Location and Transport: 15 miles west of Salisbury, with easy access from the A303. The nearest train station is Tisbury, which goes into London Waterloo and is only a 10 minute car journey away.
