We got married at Islington Town Hall followed by a reception at Coin Laundry. It was the perfect venue for us, we loved the mid-century modern decor and the chic vibe of the place which meant we had to add really limited decoration to make the place look great. The team on the day (and in the run up) could not have been more amazing - particular shout out to Arthur/Max and the rest of the team at the venue who managed the setup. The guests all raved about the delicious canapés and loved the concept of the sharing boards for mains/starters. It was great to have the whole venue, upstairs more suitable for quiet chilled vibes in the evening while the rowdier partying can take place in comfort downstairs. Truly had the best day of our lives here! -

November wedding
From the first visit, the team at the coin laundry were fantastic to deal with. They made us feel like a priority and were super responsive at answering our queries. The service before and on the day itself was very personal and all the staff were very helpful and made the day special. The format for organising the details for the day is easy to navigate and we had calls with the team to run through everything beforehand. On the day itself, the onsite team set up the venue with our decorations perfectly and the venue looked amazing. We had so many compliments from guests on the quality of the service and the food and drinks. The staff went above and beyond (in particular Arthur), saving us evening food and helping pack up all the stuff at the end of the evening. We would recommend to any couples looking for a fun, relaxed London wedding in a beautiful venue. -

The staff was amazing and the food unbelievable. I definitely recommend to go for the chicken and lentils if you get the chance!

The coin laundry team were really helpful and supportive through the planning process and made everything super easy.
The food is incredible and all our guests commented on it.
The team on the day were really friendly and professional. Everything ran seamlessly.
We loved the party basement downstairs and the delicious cocktails.
We had the best day! Would really recommend! -

We hired Coin Laundry for our wedding in July and it was absolutely incredible. We had to change venues at short notice for reasons outside of our control and from the moment we chose Coin Laundry they were amazing from start to finish. Communication with Zac and the team in the months leading up to the day was great with quick, clear and detailed responses to all of our questions and we were assigned a planner called Cara who went through everything, from menus, to table set up, timings and everything inbetween to make sure things ran smoothly on the day. We had a Studio 54 theme for the day and so had a vision of how we wanted the space to look and they accommodated all of our requests without any trouble. The team decorated the space for us on the day and they were happy for us to drop things off the day before, including the cake and other sweets which meant we weren't having to bring things on the day. It was really important for us to have good food at our wedding and we were not disappointed. It was delicious and fresh and we had so much good feedback about it from guests which was great! If you are looking for a relaxed and fun wedding venue in London then we would definitely recommend Coin Laundry. They made our day one that we will remember forever and we wish we could do it all over again! -

We've had our wedding reception at the Coin Laundry over the weekend (August 2025). The venue was exceptional in every way. From the first time we went to view the space, to the day after our wedding when we went back for a roast dinner - every detail was perfect. The bar team (special shout out to Max and Arthur) were extremely friendly, helpful and happy to help with anything on the day. Extremely capable and knew exactly how to best set the place up for a wedding party. Cara, Zac and the events team were super helpful in the lead up, preparing us a "planner" spreadsheet allowing us to personalise every aspect and make our selections. We had separate calls with Cara and Arthur before the big day to talk about the finer details, and it gave us full peace of mind that we were in good hands! The food was top quality and they made extra efforts for our guests with dietary requirements. Lovely selection of beers and really good cocktails. They helped our band / DJs set up the equipment and were happy to help with any requests throughout the evening. Extremely accommodating and nothing was too much of an ask. Coin Laundry and Exmouth Market really do make a beautful setting for a London wedding and we are soooooo glad that we decided to choose them for ours! Magical Wedding at Coin Laundry
The team at Coin Laundry created the most special and magical wedding day for us on the 19th of July 2025!
We only have the most positive thoughts on the venue, food, cocktails, staff and everything else. The set up of the tables, the card station and cake tables were also exactly how we envisaged if not better!
The food was very delicious, the staff were very attentive and friendly and created a relaxed atmosphere. Our guests enjoyed everything at the Coin Laundry so much, a couple of them went back for the Sunday Roast the next day! Cocktails were so good that it seems that it wasn't that difficult to hit the minimum spend at all! The food was exceptional, this was one of the key requirements for us as a couple when picking out venue. The guests couldn't believe that the vegetarian sausage rolls were not meat ones, so delicious.
One member of staff surprised us with a phrase congratulating us on the black board in my native language which was such a nice touch!
We can’t thank you enough!
