Fantastic venue with professional staff, nothing is a bother with lots of help and advice. Very flexible possibilities are endless no set rules, It's your day to do as you wish with exclusive use of the venue. scenery is fantastic from the sea to the mountains and wildlife make the most special photos truly magical that touched the hearts of ours Guests. The weather did help as it was tropical. We used as many suppliers on the island as possible which the venue staff can help with. If you want somewhere different that's not your usual hotel venue with set routine this is your place , Just read the reviews on the website.

We got married at The Waterside in May 2019 and our day was perfect. Venue, surroundings and the view are what made us fall in love with the venue. On the day staff made sure everything ran smoothly which meant we could just enjoy or special day.

We chose Doonwood for our elopement, and it was quite simply the most magical day of our lives. From the moment we arrived, the stunning woodland setting provided the most breathtaking, private backdrop for just the two of us. We stayed in the cosy bothy, which was absolute perfection, and used the beautiful terrace at the cabin for our wedding photos. It feels completely secluded and enveloped in nature, offering incredible photo opportunities among the trees. There is a deeply romantic, boutique atmosphere to the whole estate that made our celebration feel intimate, stress-free, and entirely our own. If you are looking for a secluded Scottish elopement spot where you can truly focus on each other surrounded by peaceful woodland beauty, Doonwood is absolute perfection. We couldn't have dreamed of a better place to begin our married life.
