Duncan Ireland is a professional photographer based in Dumfries and Galloway. He covers primarily Edinburgh and Southwest Scotland and shoots in documentary style. Duncan’s goal is to capture all the special moments of a wedding day as they happen so he can create lasting memories for couples to enjoy for a lifetime. He is unobtrusive in his approach and will always be on the look out for candid moments.

Services offered

Wedding packages include Duncan for the entirety of the wedding day, all photographs delivered with two versions of each picture (colour and black and white), and a digital only package or print package with personally designed wedding album, book, or boxed prints. Duncan will give you a personal consultation prior to the wedding.

The high resolution images will be on a USB memory stick and you will have the copyright license for personal use of your images. You and your guests will get to view the pictures and memories on a private online gallery. A slideshow of your photography highlights is also provided. Duncan offers a pre-wedding shoot as well.

How he works

Duncan works in mainly Northern England and Southern Scotland, but is open to travel throughout the UK and abroad. He visits every new venue beforehand to check out angles, lighting, and to get familiar with the surroundings. He takes bookings up to one year in advance and will reserve dates on a first-come, first-served basis. There are no restrictions to Duncan’s time on your wedding day.
