Peter King has over 40 years’ experience in the hospitality and leisure industry as a DJ, Presenter, Compere and is a proud member of the Executive Guild of Toastmasters. He has a blend of calm authority, genuine warmth and humour. His presence will add a certain gravitas to the celebrations, creating a welcoming and fabulous atmosphere and where guests and couples feel at ease and fully enjoy every moment of their big day and without stress.

Services Offered

Peter will be at the venue an hour before your families and guests arrive and will liaise with the venue staff, that all the arrangements are in place. Welcomes and greets your families and guests to your reception and will direct them to the designated rooms, taking any cards or gifts putting them in the allocated place as required. He will keep your guests well informed of the proceedings throughout the day.

He will escort the Bride and Groom to meet the registrars and the guests to the wedding ceremony. Working closely with the photographers/videographers for the group and family shots, capturing all those special moments.

Guides everyone to the Wedding Reception and organise the receiving line (if required). At the start of the Wedding Breakfast, he will inivite guests to stand and cheer as you make your big enterance into the room. Announces the serving of the meal and circulates the guest book, introduces the speeches and be nearby throughout, reads out any special messages and pass on any gifts or flowers. He will announce the cutting of the cake at the Wedding Breakfast or the Evening Reception asking the photographer/videographer and guests to gather round for those memorable pictures. Peter then encourages all guests to stand as he escorts the Bride and Groom from the reception.

At the Evening Reception Peter will accompany the Bride and Groom to the dance floor for their first dance and introduce any other special dances as required. He will be on-hands throughout the day to ensure that the day progresses as you planned and dreamt it would do.

His services are widely available in Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Staffordshire and the West Midlands but he is happy to travel. Peter can officiate at all types of weddings including English, Asian and LGBTQ+. His services ensure that each special day is perfectly orchestrated.
