Made by Wood & Wood was born after our own wedding in May 2015. Having been underwhelmed with the design quality and products available on the market, and with a desire to make and create things ourselves, we set about designing and creating our day.
We received so many compliments from friends, family and strangers who’d seen photographs from our wedding on blogs, that we realised there was greater potential in what we created. And so we set about creating Made by Wood & Wood to offer products to other couples who appreciate beautiful design but may also be struggling to find what they’re looking for.
Services we offer: Stationery (collections, semi-bespoke & bespoke designs from Save the Dates and Invitations to Table Plans, Table Names, Order of Services, Newspapers, Favours, and anything else you would like). Wedding Logos & Monograms, Rustic Wooden Signage (which you can personalise), Reclaimed Wooden Bars (available plain or personalised, from 1.3m to 4m wide) and a whole host of other items including bespoke things like Doughnut Walls and Large Wooden Wheel Table Plans.

When do I need to start thinking about my wedding invitations?
Once you’ve set your date and decided on your venue, we’d recommend considering your wedding stationery, talking to potential suppliers, working out budgets and deciding what's best for you and your style. Sending your Save the Dates out as soon as you feel ready is always a good idea (there are no specifics on when to do this). We’d recommend choosing a design and getting it produced as soon as you feel comfortable and then sending your invitations out around 8 – 12 weeks before your special day.
Is there a required minimum order?
For printed items we require a minimum of 30 units per order. We also provide digital designs (supplied as high resolution PDFs, allowing you to print the designs yourself); there is no minimum quantity required for digital designs.
How much is postage and packaging for orders?
We offer free postage and packaging for all our UK mainland orders. For international shipping, please get in touch for up-to-date costs.
What are the forms of payment?
We take payments via Credit or Debit card or by BACS payment.
Does the invitation cost also cover the printing?
We offer our design collections in both digital and printed format. Digital products are charged at a single price and you are required to print these yourself or using your own suppliers. Our printed collections always include the cost for printing (the price adjusts accordingly to your order quantity and specific requirements).
Is there a limited selection of invitation styles or can they be customised?
If you’re not 100% set on our sample collections, we can make amendments to better suit your requirements, such as changes to size, colour or typeface. If you’d like to add foiling, embossing, die-cutting, spot varnishing or any other production technique to any of our collections, please let us know. We will happily discuss the options with you and can then provide a quote. Alternatively we can also create something entirely bespoke. What are your delivery times?
Whilst we always endeavour to fulfil all our orders as quickly as possible, please allow 2-3 weeks from your order to delivery. This ensures we can provide you with the best quality possible, even at our peak times.
What other services do you provide?
All our collections are available as ‘on the day’ stationery too (including newspapers, table plans, table names, place cards, and order of services). And for after your wedding, we can provide matching thank you cards. We also offer personalised reclaimed wooden signage, so your guests can find their way to and around your venue, as well as impressive reclaimed wooden bars (which are available plain or personalised) for that perfect ‘wow’ moment during your reception drinks.

What are you're views on plastic packaging?
We hate plastic! We use packaging which is 100% recyclable (and reusable) and we avoid all plastics in our packaging, including using paper tape which is also 100% recyclable.

A lovely reminder of our day
I loved the idea of having a memento of our wedding that we could look at for years to come and as soon as I saw Chloe and Tom’s gorgeous wooden signage, I knew I had found the perfect choice. Working with Chloe and Tom was really easy; they totally understood the sort of look we wanted and sent us 10 lovely designs – we could have easily used any one of them. The sign was beautifully painted and turned up in plenty of time before the day itself. They even provided us with after care tips when I asked if we could keep it outside! Our sign now sits in our back garden and every time we see it makes us smile and serves as a lovely reminder of our day.
