I’m not really sure where to begin or whether I can do this review justice but I’ll try. David truly went above and beyond for our wedding day. The attention to detail leading up to the day really shocked us, phone calls, emails and even meeting up at Gilpin a few weeks prior to make sure everything was exactly how we imagined it. On the day, David turned up nice and early exactly like he said he would, introduced himself to our family and settled in. Throughout the day we lost count how many guests made comment on how good David was, how passionate he was and how he couldn’t do enough for everyone in regards to getting some nice pictures if people asked him to. Your photographer really knows what he’s doing, was a popular comment. We also hired Big Vinny, we set this up on arrival, our guests got a welcome drink and a picture, the picture was then added into our guest book, which people then wrote in next to their picture. Vinny was then moved into the lounge for evening pictures with the props. David arranged all of this and having the pictures with guests messages in our guest book is amazing to look back on. We received our preview pictures the following day and then our remaining pictures one week later, again just like David said we would. To get 40 pictures less than 24hrs after our big day was amazing to see whilst still on the wedding high. If all this wasn’t enough David threw in another extra for us, knowing that we were keen hikers and David also loving the fells and being a qualified Mountaineering Guide, he suggested we get suited and booted again a few days later, hit the fells and get some amazing shots with the Lake Districts best scenery behind us and what an experience this was and the pictures were just something else! David was happy to do Helvellyn he didn’t care, he was so enthusiastic about it but we chose Hallin Fell as that had meaning to us, we’ve spent a lot of time around Ullswater over the years so we wanted that as the back drop. It is also worth mentioning that we also used Benny as our videographer, David also arranged this and we couldn’t be more thankful to Benny. We have received many pictures from our guests, some of these pictures have David and Benny in them, they make us smile, it’s nice to see the people behind the camera, they were part of our day and played a huge part in the memories we now have. I truly can’t recommend David enough, let him do your thing and you won’t be disappointed.

We were so lucky that we had the opportunity to book such a talented photographer for our wedding. We really cannot say enough good things about Philip Craven's photography. We initially had seen many wedding photographers websites, but it was only after visiting his studio and wedding showroom and viewing albums of real weddings that we knew that we had made the right choice. We had two meetings with him before the wedding to discuss our plans and he gave us guidance and several good ideas. It was a big help and pleasure having him at the wedding. Although we had some poor weather on our big day, Philip was able to produce every photograph to perfection. Philip was recommended to us by several friends and after visiting his wedding photography gallery in Windermere we knew that he was the right photographer for our wedding. I would like to thank Philip for being our photographer, he took so many beautiful photographs, a true Master of Photography and a professional who is passionate about his work. Neither of us like being photographed and he put us at ease and guided us through the day blending in like a member of our wedding party. He had a complete understanding of our needs with attention to every detail. He was fantastic on the day organizing us all to get the best possible pictures. Everyone who has viewed our wedding album have stated that they are the best photographs they have ever seen. It is an album which we will cherish for ever. There’s no other ways to describe the service and quality that we received other than Exceptional. There’s not enough David and Benny can do for you. From starting up, they get to know you, understand what you’re all about so they can create the vision that you want from your wedding photography and video. They are a pleasure to work with, very friendly, up for a laugh and the wedding guests loved them. The photos were exactly what we hoped and the video which was produced still brings tears to my eyes when I watch it. 11/10 absolutely outstanding
