If the idea of spending hours awkwardly posing for wedding photos sounds like your worst nightmare, we'll probably get on.
I'm all about capturing weddings naturally - the big moments, the chaos, the dance floor antics, your mates crying during speeches pretending they've "got something in their eye"… all of it. I want your photos to feel like your day actually felt, not like you've spent 10 hours trapped in a photoshoot.
I take photography seriously, but not myself. I'm there to help keep things relaxed, make people feel comfortable and blend into the day properly. Half the time I'm chatting to guests, helping sort buttonholes, calming nerves or sneaking around trying to catch moments people didn't even realise were happening.
Rule 1: the photography always comes first. I'm obsessed with capturing genuine moments properly and creating images that feel timeless, emotional and full of personality.
Good people, good energy and brilliant photos. That's the goal.
And perhaps a Guinness at the end of the day to toast to you both. Because after all, I'm just a bloke with a camera, really.
WGE Photography is based in Ashford, Kent, and offers wedding photography services.
