I genuinely cannot recommend Will enough - he was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding, from start to finish.
From the very first conversation, Will put me completely at ease. As a Type A person but Type B bride, he instilled confidence immediately. I'd share rough ideas and half-formed plans, and he'd come back with a super granular, thoughtful plan of attack for how we'd actually capture everything on the day, and was happy to continue to revise it in the leadup. He was also incredibly responsive and reassuring throughout the whole process, which meant so much during the wedding planning chaos.
The vibe I wanted was natural and candid - nothing overly staged or stiff - but still with a few classic shots woven in, and Will absolutely nailed the brief! He was so collaborative and constructive every step of the way. On the day itself, he had a brilliant instinct for knowing when to step back and just let moments unfold naturally (exactly what I'd hoped for), and then knowing exactly when to step in and direct for a few beautifully composed shots (some of which were truly showstopping!). His timing was impeccable, and the payoff was incredible.
He sent through the photos so quickly afterwards, and when I first opened them I was actually with my bridesmaids. We spent some time going through the pictures together (which was so much fun) and everyone was gushing and raving. The photos are just so beautiful. Genuinely hard to choose favourites because there are so many incredible ones.
If you want a photographer who's meticulous, responsive, and has a real artistic eye for candid, natural storytelling - book Will. You will not regret it!

We asked Will to photograph our wedding and are so happy with the service provided; Will was professional, helpful, communicative and exceeded our expectations with photos provided. Will photographed our wedding earlier this year, and was a delight to work with. Our wedding was planned in a very short time, meaning we didn’t have long between first making contact and the wedding. You’d never have known though as Will was so professional in meeting with us, talking through our venue and what we were looking for in our photography. It was a late afternoon winter church wedding, so not the easiest to photograph in terms of light levels, but our photos turned out wonderfully. Will captured wonderful moments from the speeches and cake cutting, and beautiful first dance photos.

Will was amazing throughout the entire wedding - from the build up and liaising with my wife on the type of photos she wanted, to the actual day, where he was either in the background quietly taking candid photos of everyone, or directing people where to go/where to stand/how to stand to get the best photos possible.

He did it all politely and effortlessly, with a great sense of humour which made everyone feel at ease and happy

The photos themselves were excellent - and he sent them to us within a few days of the ceremony, when we were expecting to wait a few weeks.

I especially like how some photos came in colour/black and white and with effects, so we could choose which we liked best.

Wow – to say that I’m bolled over is an understatement. Hundreds of photos taken to ensure that the perfect picture of everyone smiling with eyes wide open has been captured. Artistic creativity to ensure that many of the images go beyond the usual staple set of images that are always required. Will from WGE Photography is unobtrusive when needed but also quietly gets the shots that everyone wants. Highly recommended.

We took a variety of photos, experimenting with different backgrounds and lighting across London. The photos I received were of excellent quality, and the whole experience was professional from start to finish. Easy to work with, friendly, and made me feel comfortable throughout the shoot. Will was incredible with my little boy for his cake smash, there was no pressured posed shots all completely natural. He also had a great attention to detail and carried on snapping even when I was unaware

Will has done two photoshoots with our family since we had our daughter — a newborn shoot and her 1st birthday smash cake shoot. Honestly, we can’t recommend Will enough.
