Hey, I’m Richard, an award winning Wedding Photographer covering Lancashire & North West England. I create laid back, creative wedding photography. I’m Lancashire raised and I currently live in Morecambe.
If you are looking for a wedding photographer lots of packages can be a little overwhelming. I like to keep things simple with three easy to understand packages and a cheeky little Photo & Video package!
From the make-up being applied to getting your dancing shoes on, I’ll be there to capture it!
I’d like to say that I take great pride in the work I do, every wedding is special to me and I really understand how big a decision choosing your wedding photographer is, lets get you onboard with relaxed, fun and natural wedding photography and away from stiff boring wedding photography!
My couples really do say it’s like having a pal with them for the day and that I blend in seamlessly, because ultimately I want you guys to have an absolute blast!
I’m lucky enough to be surrounded by gorgeous venues in Lancashire and South Lakes, but I do love getting out of the area and shooting in new places, I've kitted my campervan out to be self contained enabling me to work nationwide!

How far in advance should I contact you?
I do fill up quickly, especially during peak season - so I'd always advise you to start looking at booking your suppliers as soon as you can
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
No
Can you travel?
Yes, i cover nationwide, travel within 75 mile drive of Morecambe is included
What is the charge for travelling?
Anything over 75 miles I charge 30p per mile, I own a camper-van so accommodation isn't a requirement for me

Wonderful and thoughtful.
Richard was amazing, he got amazing shots of wonderful moments but you were seldom aware that he was there. He blended in with the day and supported us, he was willing to capture the moments we wanted and added moments that we didn’t even know we wanted.
The photos arrived on the platform and were fantastic, lovely warm quality and framing - just beautiful.
He went above and beyond, listened to what we required and captured our day in the most amazing way.

Just amazing!!
We are absolutely thrilled with how our wedding photos turned out! From the very beginning, our photographer made us feel comfortable, and it truly shows in the pictures. Every special moment was captured beautifully, especially the candid shots, which are our absolute favourites. We’ve received so many compliments from family and friends on how stunning and natural the photos are. Looking through them brings the whole day back to life, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. We would highly recommend Richard to anyone looking for someone who can genuinely capture the emotion and special moments of a wedding day

Captured our day perfectly!
We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better wedding photographer than Rik. From the very beginning, he was friendly, professional, and incredibly easy to work with, which immediately put us at ease. On the day itself, Rik blended in so naturally that we barely noticed he was there, yet he somehow captured every important moment and so many beautiful, candid ones too.
The photos are absolutely stunning — full of emotion, laughter, and all the little details that made our day so special. Rik has an amazing eye and a real talent for telling the story of the day through his images. Looking through our photos truly feels like reliving our wedding all over again

Best photographer ever !
What can I say other than perfection !
After looking through many instagram pages to find a photographer we stumbled across Richard’s and we’re so glad we did.
He had such a calming presence the whole day and just knew exactly what to do. When we got our sneak peek pictures back a few days later we were blown away. How he made two camera shy, socially awkward people look so good I have no idea. Every shot was perfection. We then got our entire album back a couple of months later and we cried happy tears. The whole album is incredible. The edit on them is so cozy unlike some photographer's who make their images very cold looking. We are so glad we went with Richard. He’s by far the best photographer I’ve seen. Don’t judge a book by it’s car 😉🤣 (inside joke)

Highly recommend!
We booked Richard for our wedding last week, and could not recommend him enough. He was quick to respond to messages throughout the process, very friendly and professional, and reasonably priced.
On our day we had the most horrendous weather, it literally down-poured all day but Richard did not let this ruin the day by any means. He found alternative photo spots indoors, and even convinced our venue to let us do the confetti toss indoors!
We ended up also going outside for some photos, which he gave us the option to do, and we’re so glad we did. I was very nervous about seeing the photos for the first time, because the weather had been so bad, but they turned out better than we could’ve imagined (even if he did get soaked - sorry Richard!)

Would 100% recommend!
Richard was so friendly and helpful within his role as photographer, he was delightful to have around on our wedding morning and throughout the day! nothing was too much trouble, he helped us capture the group photos we desperately wanted and capture the candid shots throughout the day perfectly. would highly recommend and forever grateful for the photos we have to look back on and treasure of our loved ones on our special day.

Richard was fantastic! He listened to our requirements and this was evident in the photos of our special day. The natural / funny and silly photos captured the day and brought it to life, whilst the more posed photos (still really natural looking) meant we had photos with all of our friends and family - all in all a brilliant photographer. Would highly recommend. 10/10

Best Photographer EVER!
Richard was our wedding photographer in July, we loved having him capturing our special day. He guided us through the day made us feel so comfortable and at ease! The photographs are amazing we are really pleased with all of them!

Amazing photographer!!
On the day of our wedding, Richard seamlessly blended into the background while capturing every special moment. He made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera without feeling overly posed. The candid shots truly captured the joy and emotion of the day, and we are so happy with how he highlighted the small details that meant so much to us.
The quality of the pictures are outstanding, and we love every one of them. We found it hard to choose our favourites!

A very relaxed and charming photographer
Richard did the photos for our North Wales wedding this year, and he was brilliant! Very relaxed and easy-going, he struck just the right note with the guests. We ended up with a lovely collection of pictures, including many of the candid shots we were hoping for. Nothing was too much trouble. We really enjoyed sharing our day with him, and we can heartily recommend him to anyone who is looking for a photographer, for any occasion.

Brilliant!
We are delighted with our decision to choose Richard as our wedding photographer! We did an engagement photoshoot 6 months before the wedding which really put us at ease for what to expect on the wedding day and the photos came out so much better than we expected. Richard has a really relaxed style, he managed to get brilliant photos without spending ages on posed photos/group shots. We were super impressed with how quickly he provided the first set of photos and are over the moon with how they've turned out - can't wait to see the full album! We would strongly recommend Richard and definitely suggest including an 'engagement shoot' before the big day
