Hello, I'm Taylor, an experienced documentary-style wedding photographer based in Sussex covering Southern England. My approach is all about capturing candid, authentic moments; I specialise in capturing natural moments and beautiful memories for couples on their special day.
Documentary-style wedding photography is all about capturing your day exactly as it happens—natural, unscripted, and full of life. There are no awkward posing or staged moments, just a focus on the real energy of the day.
It's about noticing the unexpected and the in-between moments that make your wedding yours. The laughter, the chaos, the quiet interactions - this style is honest, spontaneous, and always unique to you.

My style as a documentary photographer is to document your day in a fun and natural way. It's YOUR day and I will not be turning it into one big photoshoot!
What kind of equipment do you use?
I dual wield two fantastic high quality cameras, Fuji Film X-T3's! I shoot prime lenses and know my cameras inside out! Brilliant in low light situations and rapid at focusing. I love them
Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?
Yes, pixieset. It's easy to use and looks beautifully sleek! This can be accessed at any time through my password protected 'client' tab on my website

Absolutely lost for words.
For once in my life, i was absolutely lost for words when Taylor sent our wedding album link through to us.
They are everything we ever wished for and more. Every person we have shown them to have said 'ah, i didnt even know he was getting that shot, i love that', which for me, to be as subtle as that at a wedding is incredible.
It felt very relaxed, he offered guidance if needed, however we arenr eally ones for a pose so just went with his direction of shot and then did our own thing!
From the start to the finish, he captured everything and every little detail...even dogs AND babies!
He is so easy to get on with, nothing was ever too much for him, nothing was scripted and everything felt so natural. SUCH beautiful shots and i will cherish them forever....and now look at them over and over again like i have done for the past few days!
I would recommend Taylor over and over again and i would happily have him to photograph any of our big events.
There arent enough words to thank Taylor, absolutely incredible work.

Outstanding Photographer - May 2025 Wedding
We chose Taylor as our wedding photographer and we couldn't be happier!
Throughout the whole booking and planning process, Taylor was very professional, friendly and responsive. He met us at our venue before the big day which gave us a chance to meet him in person and for him to get a sense of the space he'd be working with.
On the wedding day itself, Taylor was just so wonderful to work with from start to finish. He was so chilled but also knew how to wrangle people for the group photos, and all our guests commented on how lovely he was! For my husband and I, we really enjoyed the moments throughout the day where Taylor took us off for our couple shots - he encouraged us to have fun with it and we certainly did!
Finally, the photos! Well, we were both absolutely speechless when our album came through from Taylor. The photos from our wedding day are perfect and better than we ever could have imagined. Taylor really captured the emotions of the day perfectly, and going through the album was like reliving the day again. We are so grateful we got to work with Taylor on our wedding day and we would recommend him to anyone looking to find their perfect wedding photographer.

Fantastic photographer!
Taylor was our photographer for our wedding in May 2025, and was great. From our first contact, through the planning process, the day itself, and delivering our photos afterwards (which only took a few weeks!!), he was friendly, responsive, and easy to work with. He made us feel so relaxed on the day and was very happy to go with the flow, whilst also being professional and getting some amazing shots! The photos he's provided us are beautiful, and really capture the story and our experience of the day perfectly. In particular, the candid shots of our friends and families enjoying the day are so special, and so valuable as memories. We'd definitely recommend Taylor as someone who will quietly capture the magic of your big day!

Outstanding candid photographer
We had Taylor shoot our wedding over the Easter weekend, and we were blown away by the album we received afterwards. He has a great eye for a photo, and how to make the most of buildings, plants, and trees as backdrops. The candid photos beautifully captured raw emotion, with a nice even spread of all guests. He also had a remarkably anonymous presence, as there were several moments captured in which we were not aware he was there at the time!
On the day itself, his friendly and laid-back nature put us at ease and we appreciated his gentle guidance and direction, without being bossy or obsessing over small details. It was nice to rattle through the set list of group photos with minimal fuss and delay.
We are so pleased we asked Taylor to shoot our wedding!

April wedding
We couldn’t recommend Taylor enough to anyone looking for a relaxed, candid, documentary style wedding photographer. From the first interaction, Taylor was so friendly and responsive, and we knew we could trust him with capturing our day. On the day of the wedding, Taylor was so chilled and knew exactly what we wanted for our pictures, he got to know close friends and family by name and was excellent at both coordinating everyone for the posed photographs, as well as being invisible and capturing loads of great candid moments. We are so pleased with our photos (which we received soon after the wedding), we can’t wait to look back over the years at them!

The most special day captured beautifully

Fantastic photographer
Taylor met with us before the big day to discuss our plans and wishes. On the day he was fantastic with guests, so polite and a pleasure to have at our wedding. The photos are absolutely gorgeous, great quality and have captured the day perfectly. Our guests were so excited to see them and he made it easy to share them, via his website as well as the option to download to google photos etc. Thank you so much Taylor!

June 2024 wedding
We booked Taylor for our June 2024 wedding and he was absolutely incredible. He met us beforehand at our venue to have a look around and was available if we had any questions at all. He blended into the day seamlessly and looking back he’s captured so many moments when we didn’t even realise he was there! He’s taken some beautiful photos which we will cherish forever and I would definitely recommend him if you are looking for someone to capture the joy of your special day!

Everything you would want from a photography.
Taylor was fantastic from beginning to end. He made the time to talk us through the process, was unobtrusive on the day and the final photos were fantastic. The only problem is now picking out favourites. He's a lovely guy and will be a good choice for your wedding too.
