Pete was absolutely amazing during our wedding day, not only did he capture the day in the most stunning way, but his energy was incredible. We felt so relaxed around him from the moment he arrived, and he made the whole experience feel natural, fun, and completely effortless.

He captured everything exactly how we wanted, didn’t miss a single important moment, and somehow managed to be everywhere without ever feeling intrusive. He made us laugh, put us at ease in front of the camera, and brought such a positive presence to the day. All of our friends and family commented on how brilliant he was and how comfortable he made everyone feel.

The final photos are honestly better than we ever could have hoped for. We couldn’t recommend Pete more highly to any couple looking for a photographer who is not only incredibly talented, but also a genuine pleasure to have with you on such an important day.

Pete was more than fantastic, quick to respond and guided us through the plan for the day. He was flexible and offered a great package and went over and above to meet our needs. We were looking for natural, fun and relaxed and Pete exceeded all our expectations. I cannot recommend Pete highly enough. He was one of the few vendors I found who was flexible enough to offer a shorter package, and at an extremely reasonable price. He even offered to stay on 15 minutes at no extra cost to give us some time for photos with just the two of us.

He was so friendly on the day, to the extent that guests commented on how lovely he was. He put us at ease, and in just a couple of hours managed to get such a range of wonderful photos of us and our guests. I could not be happier :) Thank you so much Pete for adding to our day!

I wish I could give Pete 6 stars - he was honestly the best photographer and such a positive, energetic addition to our wedding day. From the very beginning, Pete was so easy and great to communicate with - nothing was an issue. Then on the day he slotted in, had big smiles and was so encouraging to everyone he spoke to. Pete went above and beyond for us on out special day. He already had an event booked for the evening but offered his services for the day and even stayed later to capture our speeches. All our guest commented how at ease they felt with Pete and that he wasn't demanding of getting pictures. He really listened to us when we asked for mainly candid pictures throughout the day but still did the pictures we asked for, with a list provided. It was such a smooth and easy booking. I would highly recommend Pete for your wedding as he truly listens and truly cares. He captures moments that you wouldn't even of thought of and his work shows what a happy and incredible day it was.

Wow wow wow! We are so happy we managed to book Sussex Media Design for our wedding photos, it was quite a last minute wedding but Pete made the whole process so simple and stress free. On the day of the wedding Pete arrived and got stuck in straight away! All our guests have said how relaxed and cheerful Pete was and how comfortable he made everyone feel. We absolutely are blown away by our photos as neither of us really like our picture being taken so we were worried how they would turn out- but we love them!! and cannot stop going through them! We have beautiful photos to cherish for the rest of our lives and cannot thank Pete enough for capturing our special day.

Pete was exactly the photographer we were looking for. From the outset he understood what we wanted and delivered exactly that. We didn’t want a lengthy session of formal photos, just pictures which would capture each moment. For the few more formal pictures, he made us feel at ease and the whole experience was just what we asked for. Highly recommended, great value for money and Pete was a lovely guy.

We had the most brilliant experience with Pete from Sussex Media Design. He came to photograph our very small intimate Civil Partnership Ceremony and was so friendly, fun and made us feel so comfortable on the day. The package option was ideal for what we needed for just a few hours over the period of the ceremony. We received the photos back really quickly and we absolutely love them! I contacted Pete last minute for our small ceremony at the town hall in Eastbourne and we were so lucky to have him! It was a dream working with him from start to finish. We were only looking for a few photos to mark our day but the images he came back to us with (in super time I might add) were beautiful: the quality, the little moments he caught on film, the style- it was all fantastic and he was so easy going and friendly it just helped to keep the day running smoothly. We got married in May 2025, my now husband found Pete from Sussex Media, and I decided (typical bride) to vet him (gave him a call) to make sure he was someone I was ok with - particularly as photos can be really personal moments. I am a larger woman which comes with so many insecurities so I'll admit that I didn't think I would like many photos with me in.... How wrong I was! Jaw drop moment - he was bloody fantastic. He is a really really lovely guy, who puts everyone at ease and honestly seemed to be enjoying himself the whole time. He felt like one of the family and was supposed to be there from 1pm to 9pm but definitely stayed longer than that!

Pete captured so many amazing things - there must have been two of him as he managed to stay near by and capture my husband and I throughout but also got family photos, candid photos and all of the details too (how!?). The venue was the Gardens, Yalding - which was stunning - we were really lucky with the flowers blooming (lots of wisteria) making a perfect backdrop. Pete had no trouble letting us know of his inspired moments - we already trusted him so much we had no problem agreeing - my god, those photos not only were our favorite I cannot believe how good the editing was too!! He even had so much patience with my silly ideas turning them into special moments - for example I got some sparklers and nearly chickened out on a sparkler photo, he turned it into a mini event and had all the guests involved and laughing!

My uncle is an excellent "hobby" photographer and took some brill photos and drone footage, we wanted him involved and Pete had absolutely no problem with it at all in fact my uncle took the photos he wanted and captured some background or specific family moments alongside Pete. He and Pete were like best mates by the end of the day!

Pete was respectful throughout, the part I was most worried about (particularly being insecure) was the first time in the dress - girlies & mums reactions with a "stranger" in the room. He made everyone feel comfortable and introduced himself early enough that we got used to his presence whilst not being in your face, he retreated for any changing moments and stepped back for the overly emotional moments - he helped the girls get through their emotions (including me!) and somehow we ended up with the most fantastic photos with so many happy memories attached. Throughout the day he even helped with directing so people were where they needed to be - I didn't have to lift a finger or ask anything of him as it was all already done (his lucky wife!). So many guests since the event have commented on Pete being a wonderful man (even the grumpy ones!) - maybe there was three of him as he managed to spend some time with guests too - yet never missed a thing!

Despite so many photos being taken we could hardly believe our eyes when Pete presented his photos so quickly after the wedding.

I want to add that as we had my uncle we were a little unsure about having another photographer, after seeing the results all doubts have gone. My uncle got to be fully present for the wedding, and the quality of the outputs put all doubts to shame. The day goes by so quickly that you forget everything within a couple of weeks! - the photos have been such a wonderful reminder and we still look at them frequently.

Finally, thank you again so much Pete - the photos are just STUNNING, we particularly loved the “fairy garden” photos at the end of the evening - they are magical and so us! Half the family have picked out photos of themselves saying that it's their favorite picture and how good they look. We have turned it into a wedding photo book and now half our family get to enjoy your photos too!

Where to start, we booked our wedding last minute, and I mean we planned the whole thing within 7 weeks, from start to finish!
Looking for a photographer was hard and trying to find someone to work with, within our budget was difficult.
I came across Pete and was very pleased when he was available for our date. (Also being a last minute booking we got an extra discount!)

We had a phone call before the big day to go through what we were looking to capture and any other bits that we were planning to do on the day. Pete was very responsive and got back to me regarding any queries we had.

The day came and Pete captured everything we wanted and more! Just WOW! The photos are incredible - Pete is an outstanding photographer, worked with you and not against you and really captured the all time precious candid moments of you and yours guests!

Even better we have our full wedding album within 4 days! Amazing!

My daughter got married last week. She & her husband had done lots of research but their photographer, Pete, from Sussex Media Design exceeded all expectations.
