We chose Studio Westlake for our wedding at Deer Park Country House. Tim & Charlie are a great team - we’re so glad we chose them for our wedding photography and videography. We love the photos and the video definitely brought some tears when watching it back after the wedding! The video had me sobbing within 30 seconds and I couldn't stop crying throughout it🫶🏼😭 After watching it, I don't know why anyone wouldn't have a videographer. More importantly, why they wouldn't book Studio Westlake!

They captured everything I felt and everything I wanted people to see and more. From listening to the bells, seeing the laughter on people's faces and rehearing the words so carefully put together to share our love story I am so so glad I booked them ♥️

Tim was fab from the start, very professional, informative and helpful. Our pre wedding meeting was a great opportunity to share more about us as a couple and get across what was important to us during our wedding day.

So many of our friends have come back from their weddings with beautiful but over-posed, impersonal photos and films that all start to blend into one. That is categorically not the case with their work.

We booked Charlie and Tim for our wedding in September at Brympton House in Somerset and they were fabulous throughout the whole journey, from the initial intro call a year before, to the prep call a few weeks before and on the big day itself. For 2 people who aren’t particularly comfortable being in front of a camera, they made us feel completely at ease and relaxed. Unlike some photographers I’ve witnessed at weddings, they weren’t at all bossy or pushy and understood it was our day! It’s a big day with lots of nervous energy and anxiety and they just slotted into the day like one of our guests. They have captured the most beautiful photographs and videography of our day and we can look back on this special day for years to come. It was an added bonus that they’ve photographed at Brympton before so understood all the good shots and lighting. We are so glad we picked them from our shortlist! We can’t thank you enough! We hired Studio Westlake for our wedding at Kiftsgate Court Gardens and it was honestly one of the best decisions we made. Charlie was our photographer and he was absolutely phenomenal. To say we are obsessed with his photos would be an understatement. Not only were the pictures incredible, but Charlie were also a dream to work with, and felt like he was a member of the family.

After booking Hampton Court castle for the venue, the next priority was to find a photographer and videographer. Studio Westlake offered both. As soon as we saw one of Studio Westlake’s YouTube wedding videos, my wife and I instantly knew that we didn’t need to look no further. We immediately secured them. Charlie and Tim are incredible to work with. Transparent, very detailed, organised exceptionally talented when it comes to capturing those moments but on the day we wouldn’t have even known they were there. I was worried after hearing other people’s stories stating how photographs would take up so much of the day and that we would miss majority of our own wedding but they have it down to a precise art where they took very little of our time to capture out incredible day and so we could enjoy every moment of it. They even provided a 2nd photographer so more moments could be captured when both my wife and I were getting ready. I would highly recommend that. A few weeks later, we received the photos of and video. The photos capture everything which just makes us re live the day again and again. It was great to see everything from Charlie’s eyes as we couldn’t be everywhere at once and probably didn’t get round to seeing speaking to everyone. The video….i maybe a tad biased but wow. I think it’s the best wedding video in history, the edits, the music, it’s like a Hollywood movie which I never want it to end. So if you are planning a wedding, I would 1 million % book Studio Westlake as its the most important day of your life and when you look back in 30, 40, 50 years they make it as if it was yesterday and you’ll always be smiling from ear to ear.

We cannot recommend Studio Westlake enough! Charlie and Tim did our wedding day photography and videography at St Giles House (Wimborne, Dorset) - they arranged a pre-wedding call with us where they really spent the time to get to know us as a couple and listened to all our visions for the day. They were both with us on the day, from morning until the party at the end, they made us both feel comfortable in front of the camera, sometimes we didn’t realise they were there (but in a great way, that the photos have come back so natural), they are such a kind and wonderful duo who were also fun with our guests and even worked with our coordinator to help coordinate on the day. Charlie sent us a sneak peak of our photos within 24hrs which we loved as we could share some of our confetti photos. They worked tirelessly throughout the day and we couldn’t be more grateful.

The photos and video are back and we are over the moon. They completely exceeded our expectations!

We will be forever grateful to the Studio Westlake team for capturing the magic of our December 2024 wedding at Ashridge House.

Studio Westlake deliver a wedding film as opposed to a wedding video and that is truly what it is. Aside from the obviously stunning cinematography, we cannot get over all the little details - tying in the audio taken from our speeches and vows with the visuals so perfectly, and capturing our story with such elegance and thought. No one does it like Tim does - truly unbelievable.

As for Charlie’s photography, every wall of our house is no doubt going to be covered in his art, because there are too many absolutely amazing shots to choose from. The love and joy of our day is so evident in every photo. We’ve joked that we’re going to have to rotate frames out monthly so they all get the attention they deserve!

The team worked incredibly hard to deliver our photos and film in record time and were organised, professional and flexible every step of the way.

Weddings can be expensive, but the joy we get from our Studio Westlake photos and film is truly priceless. You will not regret asking them to capture your day.

It's hard to put into words just how amazing the Studio Westlake team were... but hiring them was one of the best decisions we made for our Italian wedding.

We wanted to find a photographer and videographer that felt a bit different from the myriad of others out there... and SW's candid, effortlessly-cool style and ability to capture the emotions of the day were exactly that.

Charlie and Tim were amazing from the word go, from answering questions to jumping on calls - we truly felt they listened to us and our vision in the build up.

On the day - despite the roasting Puglian summer heatwave - they were an absolute joy to have around - their disposition, subtle direction, professionalism and humour made us, our family and our guests feel beyond comfortable and confident in front of the camera.

Then, receiving our gallery and videos was the perfect antidote to the post-wedding blues - they superseded our expectations and more. Charlie, Tim & Joe captured the emotion of the day perfectly - delivering shots that were beyond cool, candid and composed to perfection. And the film told the story of the wedding beautifully - cut in such a unique way - we've played it dozens of times and haven't had a tear-less watch yet, it's truly incredible.

I wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend Studio Westlake - thanks to them, we now have the most magical mementos of one of the best days of our life.

I came across Charlie & Tims work on Instagram and initially was drawn to the ‘non posed’ style of photography & their editing style (not too pale & not too orange).
From enquiry to completion they were amazing - great fun and easy to have around all day!
Our video was particularly a highlight for us as we couldn’t believe the way it was edited, felt like we were watching a film trailer!
