Sophie Whitley Photo is a wedding photography studio based on the beach in Crosby, Liverpool. I specialise in capturing the authenticity and emotion of weddings, corporate events, family gatherings, parties, and more. With a relaxed and friendly approach, I focus on preserving genuine moments through documentary-style photography. My goal is to create natural and candid photos that truly reflect the essence of each event, allowing you to cherish these memories for a lifetime.

I aim to get to know my clients before each event so you feel like you've got a friend at your side on the day. Building these relationships helps me capture you at your best and all the wonderful, honest, human moments around you.
My photography journey started with working alongside my husband, who is a wedding musician. I often accompanied him to events to photograph the band or lend a hand, so I realised this was exactly where I wanted to be. I'm passionate about capturing people on the best days of their lives!

I tailor make every package to suit your day. Whether you want a short service to capture key moments, or the full day from getting ready to the night time dance floor. Files are provided digitally
How far in advance should I contact you?
It's best to contact me at least 6 months in advance but I am always up for a last minute event if I have the space in my diary!
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
No
Can you travel?
Yes, whilst I predeominantly work in the North west of England, I am always happy to travel further afield including mainland Europe
What is the charge for travelling?
Travel is priced based on milage covered or the cost of train/plane tickets per job

A Photographer Who Feels Like Family
We genuinely have no words for how incredible Sophie is. She has left us completely speechless (and very teary). What she captured is far beyond anything we could ever have imagined,every photo is filled with feeling, love, and life.
From the beginning, we asked for candid photography because we wanted moments, not just pictures. We wanted something that when we, our children, and hopefully one day our grandchildren look back on, they wouldn’t just see a beautiful image, but truly feel the love that filled the room. The love for each other, for our children and our family, and the happiness of a moment where time genuinely stood still. Sophie captured all of that so effortlessly and so naturally.
Some of the most special photographs are moments we didn’t even realise were being taken and those are memories we will treasure forever.
You can see how much time, care and love Sophie pours into what she does. We are endlessly grateful not just for the photographs, but for her. On the day, she felt like so much more than our photographer, she felt like an extra bridesmaid, a friend, and a family member all in one. Her presence brought calm, warmth and joy, and that shines through in every single image.
