Jon came as a recommendation through our good friends who got married in 2023. They only had positive things to say about Jon and we had already seen all of their beautiful wedding photos. For this reason, it was a no-brainer when it came to picking a photographer for our legal ceremony and our post-elopement wedding party. Communication with Jon was always friendly, quick and easy which is always appreciated when you have a million and one things to do when it comes to wedding planning.

For our legal ceremony, we gave Jon a small brief of what we wanted for our photos including a little note on my parents being separated and how I would like him to approach photographing them. Jon was absolutely great when it came to this and made sure to get photos of us all together but he knew it was important to get photos of them separately; he handled this brilliantly when it came to family portraits. For this booking, Jon took a more hands on approach to get those perfect couple and family portraits that we wanted and we really appreciated this. You can just tell that Jon really loves his job and that he knows exactly what he is doing by the instructions that he gave us. Ourselves and our families were only ever made to feel comfortable and at ease with Jon which we’re extremely grateful for. When it came to showing our families the photographs, there was nothing but praise for Jon from our parents, for both his professionalism and his beautiful photographs.

At our party, we wanted a much more candid and natural approach. We were extremely pleased with how well Jon was able to blend in to capture these incredible moments that we never want to forget so perfectly. In fact, he blended in so expertly that when it came to him asking us if there was anything else we would like from him before he left, I was actually surprised to see him! Jon has such a skill for capturing every key moment and managing to do it with such a subtlety that nothing was ever interrupted.

We could not recommend Jon more to any couples who are in need of a brilliant photographer for their wedding day.

Jon is the best photographer we could have ever had. He basically orchestrated the whole day, calmed our nerves and captured the most beautiful shots of our wedding day. He was so organized from start to finish, asking us beforehand what group photos we would like and ensuring that everything was perfectly timed around our day. We have so many photos to choose from and have both colour and black and white photos which is an added bonus!

We were really terrified when deciding for the photographer, but luckily we made the right choice. Jon was quick to respond to our requests, kept in touch and nothing was impossible to him. He was professional, incredibly friendly and willing to help. We provided a few ideas of photos we wished to get, and on the day of the photoshoot, he came earlier to check out the area, brough umbrellas in case it would rain, and then fulfilled our dreams. He also went above and beyond, as he had a few tricks up his sleeves and was able to create a few pieces that we fell in love with. It truly was worth the money.

Jon was an amazing photographer for our wedding and I couldn't recommend him enough to couples who want a professional and excellent wedding photographer for their special day. He met with us before the wedding day to look around the venue and make sure he knew what we wanted on the day. The day itself, he didn't stop making sure he captured every moment perfectly. I have known Jon for a number of ib when it came to choosing a wedding photographer I knew exactly where to go. The process of arranging the date was smooth and we had a pre wedding meeting to discuss what we wanted. Jon was helpful and flexible to our requirements. The day was fabulous. Jon took all requested photos and then took time to find picturesque spots for our "couple" photos. We are so pleased with the photos I don't know how we are going to choose. If you choose this photographer you will not be disappointed.

Jon provided outstanding communication and service from start to finish. Jon worked all day at our wedding to capture everything we wanted, including certain guests. Everything went perfectly, and Jon catered to our every need and last-minute changes. My wife and I usually feel slightly awkward in front of a camera, but Jon made us feel comfortable and at ease all day. We absolutely love all the photographs and would definitely recommend Jon to anyone looking for a photographer.
