Hi! I'm Michael and I am a Wedding Photographer based in Derbyshire and beyond.
I would describe my style as natural and unobtrusive, perfect for capturing all the real moments that make your day special.
I pride myself on delivering you professional quality photographs using professional grade equipment. Each image will be carefully edited in my own style before being presented to you in a bespoke online gallery from which you can enjoy unlimited downloads.
With my full day package you will receive at least 400 photos and coverage from bride prep all the way to just after the first dance. All my packages include a pre wedding consultation either by phone or on Zoom, along with an engagement shoot which is the perfect opportunity for us to meet and go over your ideas for the big day.

How far in advance should I contact you?
As far as possible! But it's never too late to book me for your wedding. Just get in touch and let's see if I have availability

I won't charge any travel expenses if the wedding is within my standard service area. If I need to travel further afield I will provide a bespoke travel quotation on top of my standard fee

I take a natural and discreet approach as this is the best way to capture all the real moments of the day. I will give a little bit of direction at points however like with the portraits and confetti

Michael was absolutely amazing. The photos we received back of our special day (after only a couple of weeks!) were beautiful, natural and really captured the vibe of the day. Most patient talented photographer in town!
Michael was nothing short of an amazing photographer for our wedding celebration. From the moment I emailed him to the day itself, it was clear that he is not only talented but also genuinely cared about creating a personalised experience for us.

Beautiful candid photos
Michael photographed our wedding in December. We asked for candid shots as we wanted to capture the moments outside of posed shots. Michael managed to capture our day perfectly for us, we felt relaxed and the shots resembled the happiness on our guests faces. Would definitely use Michael again. He also did our engagement shoot which we had our children involved in. He was really great with our kids and even managed to get them smiling at the same time. We love our engagement and wedding photos.

Captured the day perfectly
I was recommended to use Michael for our recent wedding and he really didn't disappoint. During the prep I barely noticed he was there but he captured some great shots. He gave clear and precise instructions, followed the list of special shots i really wanted and also captured some gems I hadn't even thought of. I am thrilled with the final results and so excited I now have these special memories to look over again and again. I really wouldn't hesitate to recommend Michael to anyone needing a relaxed but professional photographer
