Hi! I'm the wedding photographer and filmmaker behind Matthew Lukowski Video & Photo Ltd, based in Aberdeenshire and Angus, Scotland. I have a decade of experience behind the camera, and I've been covering weddings for 5+ years.

My style is bright, relaxed and candid. I like to put my couples at ease, especially if they're not used to being in front of the camera, and my portraiture is always fun and with no pressure. I'm often told by couples that they're not photogenic or not good at posing, but they're surprised when they come away with authentic images that they love, showing real laughter and smiles they didn't have to force. Of course, when it comes to posing your guests for group photos, I will still help you take charge and keep everyone organised to ensure that part of the day runs smoothly.

When I'm filming a wedding, I like to capture the small details that can often be missed by your photographer or other guests. I focus on candid storytelling, showing the story of your day in the best light, and I try to include all of your guests. What you end up with is a full documentary of your wedding day that you'll be able to rewatch for many years to come.

In the past five years, I can honestly say I've never done a wedding I haven't enjoyed. I love working with different couples and adapting to their unique personalities, as it means each wedding will be different, even if the traditions are the same, and that's what I try to show in my photography.
