Harry Fraser was our favorite vendor to work with leading up to our day, and they absolutely blew us away on our actual day! We traveled from the States, and they were incredibly accommodating to meeting with us online, walking us through what a typical wedding day at our venue (Fyvie Castle) is like since they're familiar, and allowed us to customize options within their menu's means. They were also able to provide table numbers and centerpieces so we wouldn't have to bring them in our luggage. On the wedding day, they helped with the flow from dinner onwards, and every guest had kind words to share about the hospitality of both the food staff and bartenders. They truly made our day as special as it could be!

The lovely Lorraine and her team catered for our wedding on the 4th Nov 23 and did a marvellous job! We went for a selection of canapés for the drinks reception, the carvery for the main, and a selection of finger foods for the evening meal. Everything was delightfully delicious! The carvery was honestly the best one I've ever had, and lots of the guests were saying the same thing! Everybody was also raving about the lamb kofta that was part of the evening food selection. They also provided bar and MC services for us. Lorraine, I know, had a great time and even got to show off some of her dance moves!😉 We can't thank her and the whole team enough for making our day even more amazing!

Kates delivered a professional, flavourful and tailored service within a reasonable budget, bringing professional and friendly staff. Starting with the search, Kates had upfront prices, a modern menu and good communication from the outset. During the selection process, Kates allowed a great deal of flexibility that meant we felt we could change as the event developed. Although the charges for various things was sometimes unclear they were happy to help clarify. Menu selection - Kates allowed us to have a tasting of the menu due to being over 100 people. This was an amazing experience where we got to try a variety of dishes in a personal setting with friendly staff and a relaxed environment where we also managed to organise more of the event in person with Kates. The food on the menu was unique, flavourful and modern, along with the items for evening food and the canapes. Dietary – kates were extremely accommodating with dietary requirements and made it so there was as little deviation as possible from the core menu, ensuring a consistent experience for everyone whilst maintaining a high quality of food and taste. On the weekend – Kates staff arrived the day before to go over the venue plan and setup some of the equipment. Everything that was mentioned and planned was remembered throughout the following day ensuring we were at peace of mind throughout the following day. The serving staff were friendly and professional throughout the weekend too, always willing to help.
