About

Magpie Magpie Photography is a documentary wedding photography team based on the Norfolk/Suffolk border, covering East Anglia and beyond.

I'm Aaron and I shoot weddings the way they actually happen. No awkward directing. No stopping the party. No lining everyone up for the same shot everyone else has.

I also have ADHD, and on a wedding day that's a superpower. It means hyperfocus , complete presence from the moment we arrive to the last dance - I shoot weddings as if they we're my own. While everyone else is watching the first dance, I'm already watching your nan doing her thing in the corner. The quiet hug between bridesmaids. The dad trying not to cry. The chaotic confetti moment that lasted 0.4 seconds. Most photographers miss all of it. We don't.

My style is candid and documentary, honest coverage that lets you stay completely present while we quietly catch everything worth remembering. We blend in, read the room, and move with your day. You'll forget we're there. Your photos won't look like a photoshoot. They'll look like your wedding.

I also regular have assitance from my wife - Ali (we some times come as a pair) she keeps everything running seamlessly behind the scenes and is stepping into photography herself — together we tackle ceremonies like an army operation, communicate telepathically, and make sure nothing gets missed.

As a newly married couple ourselves, we know exactly what matters on the day and what doesn't.

We work with couples who'd rather be dancing than posing. Couples who care about how the day feels as much as how it looks. If your wedding is going to be loud, emotional, a little chaotic and completely yours — we'll get along brilliantly.

Packages start from £425, covering everything from intimate celebrations to full documentary days. Travel is included across Norfolk and Suffolk, and we'll happily go further for the right wedding.
