Hi, I’m Polly, the photographer behind Love by Polly (formerly Candid Hour London). I capture weddings in a way that feels effortless, elegant, and beautifully real. I work quietly with gentle direction, letting moments unfold naturally while crafting clean compositions, refined details, and elegant window-light portraits.
With a background in fashion and beauty modelling, I understand exactly how it feels to be in front of the camera and how to make you feel confident, calm, and completely yourself. My style blends timeless black and white with soft, romantic colour, creating imagery that feels both classic and modern.
Whether it’s a full-day celebration or a carefully curated micro wedding, I create images that feel effortlessly elegant and beautifully real. Every wedding includes a private online gallery (colour & black and white), unlimited downloads for you and your guests, and sneak peeks within 48 hours.
Based in London, I work across the UK and for destination weddings, capturing your day with care, calm, and a beautifully editorial approach.

How far in advance should I contact you?
The sooner, the better to secure your date, but if you're planning last-minute, I can often accommodate bookings with less than a week's notice. Just reach out and ask!
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
Yes
Can you travel?
Yes, yes, I’m happy to travel! I regularly cover London and am open to destinations beyond the city to capture your special day wherever it is
What is the charge for travelling?
Travel within London (Zones 1–6) is included. For further venues, I just ask for public transport costs — and if prep starts early, a simple overnight stay (think Travelodge, not Hilton!)

I ensure couples feel comfortable and themselves in front of the camera to achieve relaxed results
What kind of equipment do you use?
I shoot with a Canon R6 body paired with a 35mm prime lens and a Sony A7III with a 28-70mm lens. I usually keep things natural but bring out the flash when the moment calls for a little extra light
Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?
Yes, i use Pixieset to create beautiful online galleries where you and your guests can easily view, share, and download your photos after the event
What's the delivery time for a photographic report?

Do you send all the photos taken?

How do you charge extra time?
Extra time is charged per hour, decided on the day. I provide written confirmation and an invoice, payable after the event
What are the forms of payment?
I send an invoice which can be paid easily via online banking. Simple and secure for your convenience
How do you work?
I start with a video call so the couple gets to know me and I understand their vision. I work solo with a relaxed style, guiding poses and capturing candid, natural moments

Memories Captured Perfectly at Waltham Forest Town Hall
Polly photographed our wedding at Waltham Forest Town Hall and Lloyd Park afterwards, and we’re really glad we picked her. Neither of us had a clue what to do in front of a camera, but she directed everything so easily. Telling us where to stand, what to do with our hands, never made it feel awkward. The candid shots especially are gorgeous. Highly recommend.

Polly made our day even more special!
Polly was absolutely amazing! She spent 8 hours with us on our wedding day and was such a joy to have around. Excellent value for money.
She was super friendly, relaxed, and made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. We saw some sneak peeks of the photos and they look amazing. We couldn’t recommend her enough. We’ll definitely reach out to her again for future occasions!

Pure perfection ✨
Absolute value for money and the best find on our wedding day! as two people who are camera shy at times Polly made us feel just completely at ease and made all our Pinterest dreams come to life. It really completed the day. It’s so lovely to have something amazing to look back on. The preview photos were given so quickly and the album just a few days after exceeding all expectations . All the attention to detail and preview meetings were perfect. Cannot recommend enough and will certainly be using again! Thank you so much ❤️

A very special and fun afternoon
Great session with Polly where she made us both feel very comfortable immediately. She has a brilliant eye for angles, poses, and settings which made even ME look good! Would heavily recommend to anyone that wants their memories captured in the most beautiful way.

Amazing Photography
Me and my girlfriend recently had our photos taken by Polly, we absolutely love them. She was extremely professional, friendly, and really good at getting us into positions and poses. It’s something that I had never done before, but she made it feel really natural and fun. I highly recommend Polly if you want some candid photos or professional wedding photography.
