We truly couldn’t have chosen a better photographer for our wedding. From the moment we started working together, she was incredibly helpful, responsive, and supportive, which made such a difference in the lead-up to the big day.
On the day itself, she was calm, organised, and reassuring, helping everything run smoothly and making the whole experience feel far less stressful for both of us. We’re not naturally comfortable in front of a camera, but she made us feel completely at ease and gave clear, simple guidance that made a huge difference.
It really felt like she went above and beyond to make sure we got all the photos we wanted, capturing both the big moments and the smaller, special details.
We were also blown away by how quickly we received our photos—and they exceeded all expectations. We’ll treasure them forever. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to any couple looking for a talented and genuinely caring photographer.

We couldn’t be happier with our wedding photos from Polly! She captured all of the shots we knew we wanted, while also suggesting lots of others that we hadn’t even considered. She has such a great eye and gave everyone just the right amount of direction, without anything ever feeling overly posed or forced.

Polly was so warm and friendly and fitted into the day completely seamlessly. She made everyone feel comfortable and somehow managed to be everywhere she needed to be without ever feeling intrusive.

We also really appreciated receiving a handful of photos within 24 hours of the wedding so we had some to look through straight away. When the rest arrived, we were absolutely blown away; there are so many beautiful photos and moments captured that we’ll treasure forever.

We genuinely couldn’t be happier with our experience and would absolutely recommend Polly to anyone looking for a wedding photographer!

Very friendly and reassuring throughout the booking

Booking Polly was truly one of the best decisions we made for our special day in London! From the very beginning well before the actual wedding day, Polly was receptive to many of my suggestions in terms of poses / styles / colours / shot list, and responsive on email to answer any questions. Neither of us felt particularly comfortable or natural in front of a camera, but Polly knew how to put us at ease. She was very friendly and reassuring throughout the booking, often encouraged us to move dynamically in order to capture more natural moments rather than overly posed / forced ones. It was her first time working at our location (UCL campus in central London) so we appreciate that she arrived early to scout the location for angles / corners.

Post event her turnaround (sneek peaks and full gallery) was timely. We recommend Polly highly for her professionalism, delivery, and value for money - thank you!

Best Experience EVER!

We had the absolute BEST experience and truly could not be happier with our photos!! From the very beginning, she made everything feel so easy, comfortable, and fun. Neither of us are used to being in front of the camera, but she gave us just enough direction while still letting everything feel natural and completely like us. She has such an incredible eye for the little moments and details, and somehow captured exactly what I wanted. Our photos are romantic, timeless, and have an editorial feel. We honestly had the hardest time choosing favorites because we love so many of them. The whole experience felt relaxed and fun, and we walked away feeling like the shoot itself was such a special memory, not just the photos we got from it. We will treasure these photos forever and cannot recommend her enough. If you’re looking for someone who will make you feel comfortable and capture you authentically, Polly is your girl!

Amazing professional and greater pictures that we will have forever 🤍

We honestly couldn’t recommend Polly enough! From the very beginning, we felt so comfortable with her. It was so easy to talk to her, and she made everything feel natural and effortless, which was exactly what we wanted.

I shared some inspiration with her beforehand, and she understood exactly what I was looking for. It also happens that her own aesthetic aligns so beautifully with ours, so she completely got the vision and brought it to life in a way that felt very us.

Her photos are genuinely art. They’re romantic, timeless, atmospheric and full of emotion, while still feeling incredibly natural. Looking through our gallery, we were blown away by how beautifully she captured not just how the day looked, but how it felt.

We’re so grateful to have had Polly capture such an engagement photoshoot. We couldn’t love our photos more! 🤍

Memories Captured Perfectly at Waltham Forest Town Hall

Polly photographed our wedding at Waltham Forest Town Hall and Lloyd Park afterwards, and we’re really glad we picked her. Neither of us had a clue what to do in front of a camera, but she directed everything so easily. Telling us where to stand, what to do with our hands, never made it feel awkward. The candid shots especially are gorgeous. Highly recommend.

Polly made our day even more special!

Polly was absolutely amazing! She spent 8 hours with us on our wedding day and was such a joy to have around. Excellent value for money.

She was super friendly, relaxed, and made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. We saw some sneak peeks of the photos and they look amazing. We couldn’t recommend her enough. We’ll definitely reach out to her again for future occasions!

Polly went above and beyond and we couldn’t be happier

Pollys services were a gift from my sister for my wedding day. She was able to find her very easily and we were able to connect straight away. Polly was extremely friendly, calming and relaxing to speak to in the lead up to the day. She was able to offer us flexibility on timings and even turned up early on the day to encourage us to have some get ready pictures. We are a couple that are shy in front of the camera and she made us feel so at ease. She knew the spots to take us so we didn’t have to think one bit! The photos are incredible and really capture the essence of our day. She was also able to deliver all photos less than 24 hrs with previews early in the morning! Have already recommended her to friends and family and wouldn’t hesitate to work with Polly again! Xxx

Effortless, Honest Photography from Start to Finish

We worked with Polly from The Candid Hour for our wedding, and we couldn't be happier with the results. She has a calm, focused presence and clearly knows her craft. From start to finish, she was professional, easy to work with, and completely in tune with the flow of the day.

The photos she delivered of us are amazing. Nothing felt posed or overdone. She captured real moments: laughter, nerves, quiet in-between scenes all the stuff that actually mattered to us. Looking through the photos felt like reliving the day, which is exactly what we wanted.

Polly didn’t make a big deal out of things, but the quality of her work speaks volumes. If you're looking for someone who knows how to do the job well without making a fuss about it, she’s the one.
