Karl Double Photography provides a wedding photography service that’s modern, natural.
Though based in Central Scotland near Glasgow, he is a destination photographer who would be happy to cover your special day at any venue across Edinburgh, Lanarkshire, Stirling, Loch Lomond - also willing to travel.

My style is relaxed and as natural as possible, I’m there to capture the moments, just you being you. These moments happen when you focus on each other and embrace the madness.
Pricing starts from an houlry rate £150 to full day capture £1250

Great service
Karl was so amazing on the day. Neither I nor my wife noticed him on the day but the results of his work speaks for itself as he was able to capture moments we didn’t see. He was delightful to have the whole day and he helped in certain situations where we didn’t know what to do

11th sept 2025 at Dalmeny park
We would highly recommend Karl, he was our photographer in September for our wedding at Dalmeny park. From the morning until our 3rd dance Karl was there and captured so many beautiful pictures and moments. He was great with the kids making it fun for them having them laughing with his jokes.
After the wedding our photos were ready really quick and the quality of them was fantastic so many moments captured that we didn’t know about, just stunning. Thank you from Claire & Christopher MacLeod

Highly recommend!!!
Having Karl as our photographer was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. He put Bernie and myself at ease, capturing photos in such a natural way. Everyone passed comments on how good and fun Karl was! Honestly, he has such attention to detail and was even on his hands and knees with the bridesmaids fastening my shoes and putting ‘I do’ stickers onto my soles!!!
Aftercare was just as amazing, invited to his studio, sat like friends looking through all the photos where we got to relive our wedding day all over again (and got to meet the dog) highly recommend xx

There is not enough i could say about the talents of karl! His professionalism is amazing, his photographs for our wedding day turned out exactly what we envisioned, and he never missed a thing!
Karl was such a big part of our day, a friend more than a supplier, and our guests are still raving about him! Absolute 5* from us!

Absolutely amazing photos
Karl first done my brothers wedding photos, I always remembered as he was so friendly.
I remember saying if I get married I wanted him to be my photographer.
Karl is absolutely amazing at what he does, not only did he make everyone feel comfortable and relaxed he also went above and beyond. He helped with everything on the morning of the wedding nothing was too much trouble.
The quality of photos are absolutely fantastic I'm so pleased with our photos, unfortunately we didn't get great weather but Karl made sure we got some gorgeous photos outside.
I honestly can't recommend him enough.

Perfect wedding shoot
From the moment we booked Karl he put us at ease with the hectic, unknown of getting married for the first time! I asked karl to help us during the day, to guide us on what to do and he went above and beyond making sure he got the best shoots & we were comfortable . Karl is very professional as well as friendly & approachable! Everyone has been commenting on our photos and how clear, natural & professional they are. Amazing and made us feel so at ease
Karl made our day so special from his photography style that allowed him to capture amazing photos of all our guests even our children who have additional support needs. Everyone is still talking about how great he was and how he blended in like part of the family and didn’t even realise how many photos we had got taken. I would recommend karl to everyone we for one will be using him again in the future.

Fabulous and amazing
Karl has without a doubt captured our day exactly the way we wanted. We couldn’t have imagined how epic he would be on the day. To helping the guys with button holes and just making every guest feel comfortable with getting there pictures taken.

Karl is a great friendly guy , he is an artist when it comes to his work and his attention to detail is unbelievable. Some of our best photos where took when we were unaware photos where even being taken witch shows some of his qualities in a photographer. He became not just the guy with the camera on the day but a friend , during our day everyone came to know who karl was and we all had a great time with him. I would say hes undervalued as his work is outstanding and I’d personally recommend him to anyone seeking any photography work. Wedding day photography
Karl was amazing throughout our wedding day. All our guests complimented how nice he was. Very flexible but also able to take the lead if you are unsure of what you want. Pictures turned out great and was a very pleasant experience viewing them. Thank you!
