Though based in Central Scotland near Glasgow, he is a destination photographer who would be happy to cover your special day at any venue across Edinburgh, Lanarkshire, Stirling, Loch Lomond - also willing to travel.

Karl the great!
There is not enough i could say about the talents of karl! His professionalism is amazing, his photographs for our wedding day turned out exactly what we envisioned, and he never missed a thing!
Karl was such a big part of our day, a friend more than a supplier, and our guests are still raving about him! Absolute 5* from us!

Absolutely amazing photos
Karl first done my brothers wedding photos, I always remembered as he was so friendly.
I remember saying if I get married I wanted him to be my photographer.
Karl is absolutely amazing at what he does, not only did he make everyone feel comfortable and relaxed he also went above and beyond. He helped with everything on the morning of the wedding nothing was too much trouble.
The quality of photos are absolutely fantastic I'm so pleased with our photos, unfortunately we didn't get great weather but Karl made sure we got some gorgeous photos outside.
I honestly can't recommend him enough.

Perfect wedding shoot
From the moment we booked Karl he put us at ease with the hectic, unknown of getting married for the first time! I asked karl to help us during the day, to guide us on what to do and he went above and beyond making sure he got the best shoots & we were comfortable . Karl is very professional as well as friendly & approachable! Everyone has been commenting on our photos and how clear, natural & professional they are. Amazing and made us feel so at ease
Karl made our day so special from his photography style that allowed him to capture amazing photos of all our guests even our children who have additional support needs. Everyone is still talking about how great he was and how he blended in like part of the family and didn’t even realise how many photos we had got taken. I would recommend karl to everyone we for one will be using him again in the future.

Fabulous and amazing
Karl has without a doubt captured our day exactly the way we wanted. We couldn’t have imagined how epic he would be on the day. To helping the guys with button holes and just making every guest feel comfortable with getting there pictures taken.
Definitely one of the best out there. He truly is fabulous and amazing at what he does. Can’t thank him enough for what he did for us.

Karl is a great friendly guy , he is an artist when it comes to his work and his attention to detail is unbelievable. Some of our best photos where took when we were unaware photos where even being taken witch shows some of his qualities in a photographer. He became not just the guy with the camera on the day but a friend , during our day everyone came to know who karl was and we all had a great time with him. I would say hes undervalued as his work is outstanding and I’d personally recommend him to anyone seeking any photography work. Thanks again karl for your fantastic work and we will definitely be needing your services again soon.

Wedding day photography
Karl was amazing throughout our wedding day. All our guests complimented how nice he was. Very flexible but also able to take the lead if you are unsure of what you want. Pictures turned out great and was a very pleasant experience viewing them. Thank you!

We received our photos in just 2 weeks!!
Karl was the photographer for our wedding at the Cruin on the 2nd of November and it has only been 2 weeks and we have already received all of our photos! He made us feel very relaxed throughout the day (and neither of us are big fans of getting our photo taken!) adapted to our random photo requests, and even helped the lads with their buttonholes! We are really happy with all of our photos and would certainly recommend Karl!

Best Photographer Ever!!!
Karl Double Photography was recommended to us by another photographer who couldn't cover our wedding and we are so glad they couldn't! Karl's artistic eye and fun creative approach produced spectacular unique wedding photographs which captured the fun relaxed feel of our unconventional wedding. Karl is a very skilled professional photographer with a laid back easy going attitude which makes him easy to talk to and get along with and this puts his clients at ease and makes them feel very comfortable on what can be a very stressful day. He was also very helpful throughout our day, happy to do things you wouldn't necessarily expect a wedding photographer to do. He was an absolute pleasure to have at our wedding and we could not recommend him more. This is the guy you want photographing your big day. 10/10

Just amazing!
All of my wedding guests asked me who my photographer was because they all loved him during the day and also the way our amazing photos turned out! Karl couldn’t be more helpful, he was a god send when getting ready, he helped us and kept us all calm! He’s hilarious and really friendly! Some of my friends said they wished they had Karl as their wedding photographer. 100% recommended

Wedding day
Well what can a say .... I got married in August and I was really nervous about a photographer as I don’t like lots of fuss but I was delighted with the service karl gave, he made us all feel so at ease the whole day. His unique and quirky photographs is what makes him stand out from the others, he is so welcoming and friendly and took the time to capture the most important parts of my day. I would highly recommend him for anyone looking for a relaxed and calm vibe.

Massive 5 stars for Karl. Absolutely over the moon with our wedding pictures. Karl met up with us on several occasions and made us feel at ease. The pre shoot really helped as we then knew what to expect. We have been given our pictures so quick. Would highly recommend Karl if you are needing a photographer.
