About
Hi, I’m Ian, a documentary wedding photographer based in Shrewsbury and Warwickshire, working across Shropshire, the West Midlands, and beyond.
I work as part of a male and female photography team, giving you the benefit of two perspectives throughout your wedding day. This allows us to capture more of the real, unscripted moments as they happen — from both sides of the morning preparations right through to the energy of the evening.
Our approach is rooted in documentary storytelling.
We focus on capturing genuine emotion, natural interactions, and the moments you didn’t even realise were happening — the laughter, the nerves, the quiet in-between moments, and everything in between.
Most of our couples tell us they:
-
Feel uncomfortable in front of the camera
-
Want a relaxed, stress-free day
-
Care more about real memories than posed perfection
That’s exactly why we work the way we do.
We blend into your wedding as unobtrusively as possible, allowing your day to unfold naturally while we document it honestly. When a little direction is needed (such as for group photos or couple portraits), we keep things simple, relaxed, and quick so you can get back to enjoying your day.
We regularly cover weddings across:
-
Shropshire, Warwickshire, West Midlands and every where in between
Our goal is simple: to create timeless, story-driven images that let you relive your wedding day exactly as it felt.
If you’re planning a relaxed wedding and want photography that captures the real story of your day — we’d love to hear from you.
