Hi! We’re Crystal & Dan!
While used to be a Booth and a Curtis, we've recently just got married ourselves and are now the Booth-Curtises!. We’re a real couple from right here in the North East, and we also happen to be a pair of (if we do say so ourselves!) quite awesome wedding photographers too.
We’re based in County Durham and cover all of the North East (and beyond, when needed!).

Gone are the days of weddings where you see people standing like statues as somebody shouts ‘Say cheese!’ at them.
Our wedding photography focuses on capturing all of the amazing moments of your day in the most natural way possible. Whether it’s the kiss at the end of your ceremony, the tears at the speeches or some of the truly epic moves you’ll bust out on the dance floor, we’ll capture it all.
It’s all about you enjoying your day. We won’t take you away from your family and friends for hours.
90% of the time, we’ll just fade into the background like a couple of photography ninjas, capturing the shots you didn’t even know you wanted.
This is YOUR day. We’ll just capture it and make you some memories you can look back fondly on forever.
What’s Included with Your Wedding Photography Package
Every wedding is different, and we offer both full-day and half-day packages to cater for whatever you want from your wedding photos.
Both packages include exactly the same things – the only difference is the time we’ll be there.
Here’s everything included when you choose Booth & Curtis as your northeast wedding photographers:
- Two Awesome Photographers as Standard - This makes all the difference on your wedding day, as no matter how hard they try, a single photographer can’t be in two places at once! For example, imagine you’re at the front of the ceremony room. Dan’s usually at the front, capturing your faces and emotions, while Crystal is at the back, capturing wider shots and you leaving the room. This just makes sure absolutely nothing gets missed!
- A Bit of Extra *ZING* For Your Photos - Shhh, big secret from the wedding photography community incoming: the reason those photos look so great is they’ve been professionally edited to really make them pop. Once we’ve captured your day, we’ll painstakingly look through every photo, choose the best ones and professionally edit them in our signature style.
- Custom-Made Keepsake Box & USB - Once we’ve sorted all your photos, we’ll pack them onto a USB stick and pop them in a beautiful keepsake box to send off to you. We don’t like to show these off on our site as it ruins the surprise after your wedding, but our clients always love receiving them!
- Laid-Back, Easy-Going and Faff-Free Photography Folk - Weddings are stressful enough without sergeant major photographers ordering people about! That’s definitely not us, we’ll laugh with you, we’ll help you get in your dress (that honestly does happen!), and you’ll want to either give us a high five or hug at the end of the night. We’re not fussy, and we’ll take either.
- Pre-Wedding Chat & Meetup - Nothing can be worse than two random strangers showing up on your wedding day and shoving a camera in your face! We always like to get to know our clients ahead of the wedding, so we’ll organise an in-person meetup in real-life or organise a chat via Zoom. If you really want to get to know us, you can also book a pre-wedding shoot too!
Prices
We offer both half-day and full-day wedding photography packages.
Half day is £800 and covers 6 hours of your day.
Full day is £1250 and covers everything from early morning prep to first dance.
Both packages include everything you get above as standard!

What incredible photographers!
Dan & Crystal - what do I say? From the minute we saw your previous wedding pictures, we knew you were the correct vibe for our wedding! You made us feel so comfortable and kept us in the loop with everything! Offering us a pre wedding shoot was so extremely helpful! My husband does not like having his pictures taken and Dan & Crystal made him feel so comfortable before the wedding day! When the day arrived, both photographers fitted into our day like guests, mixing with everyone, taking some incredible pictures and enjoying the whole day! From our preview of picture, myself and my husband are blown away already! Thank you so very much ❤️

Outstanding Simultaneous view points
We were left speechless(and happy tears) at how amazing Crystal and Dan have captured every bit of love, laughter, silliness and important moments throughout the day. They were recommended to us but just from the website we knew their candid skills is what we needed .
Having the two of them helps capture the moment twice from different perspectives which helps show that love story or the day unfold.
From the get go with communication and and pre-wedding shoot (we choose the full package) it was like having two new friends . So easy to be around and brilliant with our little boy too!
Our humour , jokes , tears and love were caught so well that there was no miss of a videographer. We are two people with not a lot of confidence in ourselves, but my word, we were both blown away at how beautiful they have captured us .
They also went above and beyond , we left the cake back at a previous hotel and crystal shot back there in flash to retrieve it . They were like part of the family , calming words , jokes and mingled with guests effortlessly. Even Crystal busted a move to Busted while snapping brilliant dance shots .
We received our special USB and box and that's when the flood gates opened. The photo quality is just incredible even lots of movement caught with perfection. Honestly I could go on forever , if you want smiles, care, helpfulness,laughter, professional and absolutely stunning photographs of your special day you will not regret choosing Booth & Curtis Photography . We are honoured to have them with us and they will forever be a memory in our wedding . Thank you so much you two ! ❤️

From the moment we met Crystal & Dan, we knew we were in safe hands. Their warmth, professionalism, and artistic eye made the entire experience feel effortless and joyful. Absolutely amazing photographers, would 100% recommend!
Crystal and Dan are super friendly and put us at ease straight away. They fitted in with our guests well and did an amazing job of capturing the amazing memories made on the day. As a bonus, you get 2 photographers for the price of 1! Which was amazing at our wedding of 100 guests, and meant that myself and my husband could each have pictures of us getting ready even though this was at 2 different locations. They were super flexible and melted into the background so well when needed to capture the candid shots without anyone feeling like they were being photographed. Overall, they did an awesome job, the photos came out amazing and we would 100 % recommend!

Stunning Work
Booth & Curtis are extremely professional and amazing to work with!
We couldn't be happier with how our photos turned out for our big day. We had a few minor issues on the day with our venue and these were completely forgotten about when we received our photos back.
They captured every single magical moment of our Harry Potter inspired wedding and we can't thank them enough!

Lisa & Lee wedding October 2023
One year on and still can't get over how amazing our day was and the images that was captured. We can't thank Dan enough for providing us with the best images to cherish forever. These two are truly amazing at what they do. The day of our wedding unfortunately we werent able to have both Dan and crystal there as crystal was away. Dan manned the fought and still provided with the most amazing day and photos as if we had both of them there. These two are the most lovely genuine couple and are so easy to get along with which makes your day even better, the passion they have for photography truly shows through there outstanding work. I would 100 percent recommend any bride to be to use these two for there special day, you will get the most amazing photographs and they will become a bonus to your day!

Crystal and Dan came very highly recommended and from the first click of their profile we knew (and hoped to everything that they were free for our day) that they were the ones for us!
Both of them have been so attentive, experienced, down for a giggle, down to earth, friendly and just adorable. We loved every second with them and so did the entire family!
Nothing was a bother and they completely understood our vision/ideas and we adore every single picture they took for us. They were such a calming presence on the day and kept me very chill on the morning and we knew we were in safe hands!
They are absolute stars and treasures and we wish we could have them at every event and consider this....they are budget friendly, flexible and you get them both!!! Match made in heaven, we love them. Thank you crystal and Dan for making our beautiful memories last forever!
