About

I am a London-based photographer with a documentary background, who has travelled the world several times over taking pictures!

I've photographed weddings and events from the UK (weddings and parties) to Italy (religious services), Egypt (a play)... even outer Mongolia. (I shot a Buddhist wedding in Ulaanbaatar.)

My style is reportage / documentary. I specialise in candid / unplanned shots, capturing events to create playful, interesting, beautiful imagery.

I'm a friendly, relaxed guy who knows when to allow things to unfold, and when it's necessary to make a few helpful suggestions to get the best possible images on the day.

I have an MA in documentary photography, and that's the approach I take - allowing events to unfold without too much interference from me. After all, weddings are naturally amazing events

Canon DSLR with short (prime), wide angle and long lens. Some flash when it's needed

I invoice after delivering the photos. Payment is normally via bank transfer

I like to get a very good idea of what the bride and groom are after before the big day - meeting up, chatting, sending across mood boards, these all work well for me
