We picked Shani based on the photos we saw on her website and instagram after the hitched recommend. After our first conversation wecwere sold. Completely professional, suggested excellent shots and communicated throughout the process- visited both venues before the day (her preparation was brilliant) We have only seen a sample but are already blown away with how wonderfully she captured the mood of the day- just book her. She has all options to suit all budgets, and was a pleasure to work with

My wife and I hired Shani for our wedding and we absolutely could not have found a better photographer. I will say up front that her photos are incredible. Beautifully composed, perfectly lit, capturing those special intimate moments ... we are absolutely thrilled with our gallery. I'm sure lots of photographers are talented, but what sets Shani apart is her method and approach. Firstly, my wife and I are not particularly keen on photos and were very nervous about planning a wedding. Shani put us at ease right away. She made us feel comfortable, supported, and like she was genuinely excited to celebrate our wedding with us. This emotional support continued through the prep phase as well as on the day. We call her our "emotional support photographer." She held our hands through the day, made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, and was a constant source of positivity and encouragement. Secondly, her "documentary style" photography was exactly what we were looking for. She was like a ninja during the ceremony, we barely saw her, and she got the most incredible shots! There were so many great pics where we thought afterwards 'how did she capture that picture? I had no idea she was standing there!' Her subtle approach during the ceremony meant we got all of the shots we wanted without disrupting the mood or distracting us or our guests. Her gentle touch was again apparent during the reception when she blended seamlessly with our family and friends (most of whom are also at least a bit camera shy). She really put everyone at ease. Thirdly, purely professionally speaking, she was responsive, timely, professional, and her prices are considerably lower than other photographers whose work seemed to be of a similar caliber. If you're someone who is more interested in your wedding as a chance for an elaborate photoshoot, there are lots of other photographers out there. If you want someone who will capture your special day and all of its beautiful, unexpected, poignant, fleeting moments so that you can go back to them and relive the day as it was for years to come, Shani is the BEST OF THE BEST! We absolutely adore her and cannot recommend her highly enough. Thank you, Shani!

We had quite a low key wedding and I was certain that I only wanted a few nice photos for memories and that we could share with family that couldn’t make it. I don’t especially like having my photo taken and didn’t want it to become a big part of the day but knew having a progressional photographer would mean we’d hopefully get a handful of good photos… well, Shani was incredible! She totally tailored the way she worked to us, had a fantastic plan of which photos to get and where so that it didn’t take a lot of time and it was relaxed. I thought I might like a couple of the pictures but we ended up loving every single one! I cannot recommend her enough, lovely and incredibly talented!

The entire experience was perfection! Shani made us feel comfortable and relaxed, which is rare for us in front of a camera! The photos were beautiful and she captured such natural moments.
Would recommend Shani to any couple wanting romantic and natural wedding photos :)

Wow wow wow can’t even put my thoughts and feelings into words I’m still on cloud nine! I’ve just received the photos of my wedding from the amazing Shani and looking at each one is like reliving those exact moments. I can’t believe how she has managed to get some of these moments. She flowed seamlessly around the event from morning to evening, with her amazing spirit I forgot she was even there at times as if she was another one of my friends - that’s how comfortable we felt. I’ve still got guests asking how she is and if she could do a shoot for them and I can only highly recommend her. Shani took to the day with high coordination and precision, she knew where she wanted us and got the group shoots in with ease, which is quite a statement for my crazy family! I cannot thank her enough. I’ve already ordered the album and prints and cannot wait to have it on my coffee table to show everyone.
