About
Wedding Photography for the Real, Wild, Emotional Bits
I’m Annie, a Scottish based wedding photographer for couples who want their day captured exactly as it felt, full of laughter, movement, chaos, tenderness, family madness, happy tears, questionable dance moves and all the moments you didn’t even know were happening.
My style is relaxed, honest and people-focused. I’m not here to turn your wedding into a stiff photoshoot. I’m here to tell the story of the day as it unfolds, the hugs, the nerves, the dogs, the kids, the wind, the mud, the champagne, the absolute carnage on the dance floor, and all the beautiful little in-between moments that make it yours.
Of course, we’ll still get the important family photos. Parents and grandparents love them, and honestly, they matter. But we’ll keep them quick, calm and painless so nobody spends half the day standing in a line wondering where their drink went.
Before weddings, I worked as a professional school photographer, so I’m very used to children, big families, unpredictable humans and people who would rather be anywhere else than in front of a camera. Shy flower girls, feral page boys, awkward uncles, camera-dodging groomsmen, I’ve seen it all, and I’ll handle it with humour, patience and a bit of gentle bossiness when needed.
Most of my couples tell me they’re awkward in front of the camera. That’s completely normal. My job is to make sure you don’t feel awkward. I’ll guide you lightly when it helps, leave you alone when the moment is happening naturally, and give you a gallery that feels like your day, not someone else’s idea of what a wedding should look like.
And if your dog, cat, horse or furry sidekick is part of the day? Even better. I’m fully pet-friendly and absolutely here for the animal chaos.
