I have a very hands off, candid approach to my work. I feel it’s important for me to just be an extension to your wedding day – a friend who is there to help out throughout the day while capturing it exactly how it happens – when you’re feeling relaxed it really does make for epic photos!

I love capturing the big moments and emotions as well as those little moments, the moments you’re unaware of, the belly laughs, the quiet tears, the fun moments between friends, the slow dancing and the killer dance moves and everything in-between.

I often get couples tell me they don’t like the camera too – don’t worry I also have a relaxed approach to couple and group shots, no cheesy poses, no awkward moments, no standing outside for hours, I’ll just nip out with you a few times throughout the day (to make sure we capture all the gorgeous light) and take some gorgeous, candid, fun wedding portraits If you need I’ll give a couple of nudges throughout like asking you to walk, talk, take some time out and relax and I’ll get all the good shots of you both being completely natural!

I shot a wedding once and as we were about to start the couple shots a groom said ‘Now is maybe a good time to tell you I hate having my photo taken’ and by the end he was like ‘It feels like you’re a friend we’ve known for ages and that wasn’t bad at all’ and that’s what it’s all about!!
